You cannot change the icon of the app. You can only change its icon when you create a shortcut. As i remember I'm using one app called Bettercut to change the shortcut icon of the app.

you need to decompile the application itself and change its icon.

You can try other launcher on the market to change the name.

Hi I have downloaded sever different icons packs with 16x16 icons but when I change the stock icon to them they get realized and look very pixalated.
Anyone know why or recommened some small icon packs that might work? I am looking for icons in he style of the attached pic. I'm using apex launcher.

I'm rooted with cm10 & every time I try 2 download it from the market it keeps telling me it's incompatible with my apps & I don't know Y!!

I think it means the rom u using tells the market place ur a totally different phone. I know they do have a fix. Ask in ur rom area

Did you change your DPI? That can cause problems with Google play. I've heard in general, there has been this issue on CM10

Lol, meant LCD density. Makes your icons smaller, allowing to have more on your screen. If you don't know what out is, you didn't change it
I don't think changing the LCD density is gonna change it because it won't install at all

If you are on a stock ROM you have to decompile SystemUI.apk located in /system/app and replace images in drawable-xhdpi
Just root and use metamorph. Works fine for me on JB 4.2.1 AOKP and other ROMs. There is a thread here that has a bunch of the soft key packs that you use with metamorph. Just do a search.
