Chrome is only compatible with ICS or Jelly Bean, but you should see FireFox Beta its compatible with GB, ICS and Jelly Bean.
Are you running a rom that or have you changed your dpi settings???

I wouldn't even bother with firefox. I'm in GB an tried the new update firefox. It is annoying as **** trying to scroll through. Boat and Opera are the best mobile browsers.
Chrome is amazing

Offcourse, there is a new update for firefox and it was better then the previous versions. But still not happy with it.

Looks legit. Seems an xda member ported it. Check about. Lol. It's nice. Pretty fast. But it has some stuff in another language for some reason.

Lol screw "nice" and "pretty fast" this is the ****. Pretty damn awesome lol I'm loading websites in less than half the time it took with Dolphin and Maxthon.
DOLPHIN HD BROWSER IS BETTER, looks like google chrome too
I ditched Dolphin for Maxthon, and I'm ditching Maxthon for this. Don't really care for the gestures as long as it's faster, and this is.

Hmm a friend on stock rom tried this and had to uninstall because he said it slowed down his phone. Wonder why. It's fine on mine.
its nice but the apk is very small the original chrome has over 10mb.Greeeeeeetz
Okay did some digging around. The browser is Miren, not Chrome. It's a browser from China and has a MIUI feel. An xda member translated it to English. Now why anyone would go through the bother of labeling it as Chrome I have no idea.
Still pretty awesome though. Seems I've been testing a lot of Chinese apps lately. XD

So I'm tired of using like 3 different browsers for different applications. I use Firefox because its what I use on my desktop and I like the look and feel. I use chrome for the simplicity and speed sometimes, going to try switching to chrome on my desktop, I liked the bookmark sync Firefox has I think chrome has it too. But not everything works on chrome... I have to use stock browser for things like checking my sub trust account. And then there's Opera browser I like because I can make everything in desktop mode. What browser(s) do you guys use and is there just one I might be able to use instead of all 3?

You can request a desktop version of almost any site with the stock ics browser by just hitting the menu button and checking that option.
I use Opera Mini for everything.
The Chrome browser doesn't have flash?? Is it going to get it?
I'm currently using the stock ICS browser in CM9 and it gets the job done. Previously I used Dolphin Browser HD.
Im using stock browser too its really fast and can do java/flash within less then a second even on bad days!

The AOSP browser works the best for me.
I think it is up to the user I used to use dolphin hd with the gb roms. But I have always been a fan of chrome so when ICS came out I switched to that and have no complaints I keep the stock browser installed just in case there is something that chrome cant handle chrome still is in beta I think. And the stock ICS browser is not that bad at all.

I have tried them all as well. I like Boat Browser. No flaky UI issues like dolphin, fully functional layout kinda Mozilla like. flash works great with it.
It is also very customizable. Imports bookmarks and is very fast. My $0.02 worth..
I like Maxthon. Give that one a shot. It has tabs and a nice fullscreen mode.
The only issue I don't like is the tooltips that pop up, and so far there is no setting to turn them off. They have told me they are working on that though.

Google have launched a new beta channel for Chrome Android, the new version is now 25.0.1354.8, it is available on the Play Store
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.chrome.beta
Just done a few tests, in Sunspider it is now as fast as ASOP browser, but scrolling can still be janky, compared to stock Jelly Bean browser, which is disappointing. Try using www.theverge.com, IMO ASOP is still smoother, I now this is beta, but seriously Google please do not release Chrome v25 and still be less smooth than stock browser.

It's a Google browser.
So it syncs with Google just like chrome does.
Current Devices: At&t Samsung Galaxy Note, Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Asus Google Nexus 7 Super Tablet
Current Roms: Skynote 7 (Note 2), AOKP (Galaxy Nexus), Nexus 7 Stock
For me, it's still Dolphin or bust.
The stock browser, not Chrome, is by my favorite on my N7 though.

Dolphin drains my battery way too much. It's fast but I love the leanness of naked browser. Have you guys tried chrome beta.. rumor has it that it runs much better
I use chrome on my laptop too so it syncs between my phone and computer.
Actually, on earlier CM9 nightlies Chrome would choke and be unusable, but on AOKP and other roms, it'd perform quite well. I guess it might be a memory leak.
Not to try and discredit you in any way, but Chrome works fantastically for me. No lag whatsoever.

I'm running latest aokp builds and notice (and have noticed on prior builds) scrolling being jumpy and not smooth. I don't notice any lag in terms of page loading but the scrolling jumpiness is a real turn off for me. I stick with the stock browser.
Chrome works OK on stock roms and on PA, but I prefer stock browser. It's more stable and faster.
Which do you like better: overall performance, speed, page rendering, looks, feel, customization.

Chrome. Dolphin browser can be more convenient and easily navigatable at times, but also hates a lot of websites.. Half the time you press a link and it does nothing for me. Then to change browsing type (android, desktop, tablet, mobile), you have to go deeper into settings than liked. Personally overall I like chrome more

Nope. It's actually quite efficient. It takes Less RAM, than the xda app. 0.3mb less. And is barely any noticeable impact on battery life. What will kill your battery though is having your screen on though like with any app.
