Does not work and will not work until I fix what probably will be the release of new kernel
i thnk the last it support but preview in program is blaxk screen

More than likely true as AdamG, Kali and Defer are working on it aswell. They got it working last night, just haven't built it =)
This will still be a port of N1 so Im gonna wait for Adam to fix bugs on his release
Why do you have a problem with N1 port ? Running great here ...
Also - they are further into the development on the port version than the real deal - so IMO it's better / more stable ...

A port will never be as stable as compiled from source ROM.
I dont have a issue with ports as Im using deFrost atm.
Either way boys, were getting our camcorder fix... I'm sure Richard will also be on the case too... happy days

If you are using defrost - then why not use defrost with camcorder fix instead of waiting for Adams "raw" build ?
Endless discussion I guess - sorry ;-) - I just don't get it.

Two for starters:
The lack intermittent loss of the optical trackpad
The notification light intermittently sticking on
not to mention FC errors on XDA app.
Excellent news this would be awesome when it is released. Will give me a reason to move back to a Froyo rom now with the announcement of a camcorder fix

Do Not Bother xdandroid devs, with fillrate or hw3d being faster on donut than on eclair, plz they are not mages, stuff dont just magically work out of no were
At long last i finally got around releasing it, as i said before this is based on a AOSP Donut Build.Speed and stability should be around the same as my last donut build, also i recently acquired a motorola cliq so i will most likely be developing for that device also, please report any bugs i may have missed,anyways hope you like the rom.
I need feedback from you guys to see what works or dosent, i do not own this device. Working and non working stuff will be populated once people have posted them on comments.

This uses Default Donut Launcher, touchwiz launcher does not work on donut, but hey if you make it work or find a working apk for donut pass it over and i will include it in the rom.

Sadly sometimes ago i found one that was working with froyo (or eclair i don't remember) and was good and fast i can post it if you need or you wish to do some testing

iv tried touchwiz launcher before, it seems it uses frameworks from eclair/froyo, someone might have to modify it and compile it agaist donut api

link fixed, the fix works by providing the proper permission to the su binnary, inside syste/bin

*Wipe everything as always in recovery
*Install the zip file

That's amazing! I check the Defy forums periodically, surprised you beat me to it! Looks great though! (And sense I don't use this phone as main phone idc much about functionality) Oh, and where did you find this? Can't find anything on CM9 on Defy forums, only MIUI ICS, which is still badass!!

Thats a project which is still very new.
I made no modifications to it, I made myself sure that there werent any boot or devtree, etc the three files you said that should be removed.

Nothing is working, did you watch the video?
The defy devs got alot more working like touch screen and keyboard and even wifi! Can't wait to port this to the bravo and tweak the heck out of it .

Could we possibly drop a hint to the Defy guys to make an ICS rom for it;s brother Bravo? I mean it is our baby and all but would be nice to have a base vanilla rom to go off of.

Well, I think we would have camera working a long time ago, the problem is that none of them have a bravo to work with it.
Once there was someone who was talking about buying a bravo to a recognized dev from here, but nothing was done.

About ICS, I think we should take an ICS rom now and work with the camera, since I think it has no defy lib for the camera.

Please take an English class... It will help us all. It is broken on some ROMs due to the way it is handled in the OS.
But I'm here to save the day and tell you that Cyanogen Mod supports game pad and touch pad! Woohoo!

lol go back to stock 2.3.4.......... btw your using a very old version of cyanogenmod.....
My phone didn't vibrate at CM7.something. I upgraded to the nightly build and that fixed it. The touchpads also work for me.

Speaking of idiot... What is this asop you speak of?
This app is for restarting camera drivers to help cyanogenmod see cameras. The current builds do not have camera drivers worked in which is why the device doesn't recognize the camera
