Battery Feipusi 2300 mAh Li-ion / P930,LU6200,SU640 - LG Nitro HD

Battery 飞普斯 (Feipusi) 2300mAh Li-ion for P930/LU6200/SU640
Just bought one of these on chinese Taobao.com and it really improve batterylife! Also good quality, not crappy and without the feeling that it may blow up someday.
Good thing is, same size like original battery because i dont like the look and feel with the 3000+ mAh batteries.

After 3,5 hours of use (some Wifi/phonecalls) still on 100%!!! No way with stock LG battery... nice one.
Edit: 5,5 hours... still on 100%, more than weird but i like it!

That can't be possible. Reboot the phone and see if it shows you a true battery percentage.

I've read those are pretty good for use, typically better than stock batteries, but that they tend to drain a little more quickly when the phone's in standby than stock batteries. Regardless, I bought a couple. They're cheap enough, I'll give it a whirl =) worst case scenario, a couple extra backup batteries for me!

I thought so too, first guess was that i had to clean battery stats. After that it wasn't on 100%. But still at 89% now, after more than 7 hours with wifi on... movie on highest brightness and whatever.
Let's see if the performance will last, saw a lot of chinese products starting nice but in the end... :cyclops:

What rom and kernel are you running? What have you done to preserve battery life?

Have you actually put the battery through a few full charge-discharge cycles? Without putting it through a few days of use first, it is not really possible to tell how the battery performs compared to the stock battery.
It seems fishy that this battery is the same size as the stock 1800 mAh battery, but has a 30% increase in capacity...

I will try a few days and let you know. The battery weights more than the stock one. My wife's Lenovo phone have also 2300mAh tiny battery.
I guess the phone can't read the battery's information.

Interested in more in depth reviews!

been looking for something like this for a while. Should be great if you could give us a complete review & comparison. Thanks

I did not have much time the last days, here a short update.
Battery meter shows 100% for a long time, after some reboots it will go down to 90% but no change in battery meter if i dont do a reboot. Later the phone will shot down without any warning.
I will try to fully drain the battery and charge it in my phone with stock LG charger, see how this works out. I charged it with the 3rd party charger, that comes with the battery.
Also no success with battery calibration (because it won't charge if meter shows 100%) and clean battery stats in CWM.

Hi Cromson, can you test the battery calibration with Stock ICS, thanks!

To me, a battery that can't actually report its battery level (and has a questionable third party mAH claim) isn't worth ANY amount of money.
Just buy a second OEM BL-49KH battery and swap them out if you are concerned about extra bulk, and if you aren't get a Hyperion "3800" mAH battery.

Battery level is there, after some full cycle's (draining/loading) in the phone. Definitly better than stock battery, approx. 3-4 hours more time.

The fact that it cannot actually report battery level is highly suspicious. The Hyperion 3800mAh has no problems reporting accurate battery level.

So are there any other alternatives to fix the battery life? It's really horrible...what roms are you guys using?

I plan on buying this battery from ebay on Friday

I just bought this battery. I'll wipe the battery stats as soon as I get it and charge it to a 100%. How long did it take it to arrive for you? I live in the US

Battery seems to be draining slightly faster than stock for me... not sure why. On cm9 w/ ho!no! v5 kernel. The better feels a little better than the 1900mhz batteries from ebay i've tried. phone just sucks w/ battery life...

Woot woot! My battery just came in the mail today - Charging it to 100% as I type now

Mugen Power batteries in early 2011?

According to a rep I emailed, Mugen Power is making extended life batteries for our battery eating HTC Glacier that should be released sometime early 2011. For those who don't know Mugen Power, they have a reputation for making extended life batteries for every popular smart phone on the market.
Typically they'll make 2 different batteries for each phone, one that aims to fit like a stock with an added 400 or so mah, the second tends to require a custom backing and can often be double the stock mah.
Honestly? I can't wait. ^.^

In the tests I see Mugen did absolutely terrible. In my experience they *can* make good batteries, but have terrible Q.C. The 1st batt I received for my N900 only lasted about half an hour when fully charged. The second lasted over two days on a charge, when stock couldn't even last one.
They seem to be very much a "luck of the draw" kind of company.
posted this in the seido innocell thread as well:
dunno where i saw it (somewhere here on xda prolly N1 forum) but some guys put every aftermarket battery for MANY phones up against HTC's stock batteries the astounding results:
NO aftermarket battery from ANY mfg. has EVER beaten HTC's stock battery...
(this is referring to batteries that fit in stock battery enclosure)
I disagree fella, I myself can verify that Mugen power LiIon battery is superior comparing mAh to mAh against stock HTC batteries. I mean its not just BS they do have respected branch in the market when it comes to manufacturing batteries which is durable and long lasting which is tested by many. But for it to work you have to completely discharge it few times I normally do it for 2-3days before actual use for optical performance.

Now keep in mind the stock battery is 1230 mAh and the Mugen power stock size battery was 1300 mAh. So the only difference here was 70+ extra mAh yet after extended test and usage I can respectfully say I got 3-4hours extra with Mugen than the stock size which is alot when you compare the batteries and its only 70 mAh extra which is nothing.
Now keep in mind from those SS the TBattery 0.60 does not verify the actual full mAh as its preset to the max of stock battery which is bug in the program. At the beginning to me it did seem the stock battery was superior as time went on and after many full discharges, Mugen power battery come on top.

Andida Battery 2000mAh killed my phone .. I had to take my phone to SSC

Andida Battery it kills my beloved SGS2. Guys Please be careful and do not buy this battery
I was happy today when, I received Andida Battery. I took out my back cover and I installed the battery. I tried to turn on my phone but it did not start. So I taught that the battery must be empty, so I plugged my charger to charge the battery. But it failed to charge. I installed original Samsung battery back, but the phone did not start at all. I was so facking annoyed. I went to Samsung Service Center, I told them my phone suddenly stopped working, without mentioning the cause of damage. They checked the phone, it took them two hours, then the technician called me and he said that the battery sensor indicator chip is damaged in the main-board and need to be replaced. He said they will order the part from Korea and it will take around 2 weeks to arrival at least. I was happy that they will fix my phone under warranty.
Edited :- Real photo of the Andida Battery 2000mAh uploaded. I was so upset and not in mood to take a photo of Andida Battery I own. I google it fast and attached it on my post that why in the photo it stated 1450 mA and For Oppo a100.

OH Man. Seem like this battery does coz hardware damage in most SGS2 when installed. I think battery sensor indicator chip is actually the chip which indicate battery status level. thats why your battery stats get screwed up.
Why do you say is an 2000mA battery when on the blister clearly states that's a 1450 mA one (even less than the original). ?
I don't get it. I only see "For Oppo a100" from the pic. Is there state anywhere its for I9100?
And the Chinese in one of the label stated the battery is insured, maybe U can claim them some money.

I really hope it doesn't spoil my phone though... I rooted it so chances are there's no warranty if I bring to the CSC. I don't really use the Andida battery often anyway. It simply serves as a backup.

Hi,
I had the same issue with mine but i hotswapped that batteries around. i.e. andida to samsung back to andida and it started to work again.
at the moment i have the andida one in my phone but try swapping it around and see if there is any issues.
Q) would your phone still be covered if my phone was rooted with custom rom?
PS: and i bought two of these one for me and one for my nephew.

hi there the spider-foot battery is safe. been using it as my main battery and no problems or whatsoever since 3 weeks ago
Have been using this battery for awhile. No major issue with it. Just that while stating 2000mAH, it's not really performing better than the stock battery. Worse performing actually.
Avg after a day's use ( light usage ), the Andida's remained only abt 50%-60% juice, while the stock can still retain abt 80%.
Another quirk for Andida, after charging to 100%, when I pulled out from the charger, it'll occasionally drop to 97% immediately.
Well, can't expect it to be better since it's so cheap anyway. At least it didn't blew up on me lolz. Nevertheless, had been using the stock battery since it performed better. This Andida is just a backup for me now.
Btw, TS, just curious, did u pull out the thin film that covers the metallic contact points? I read that some pple forgot to remove this film, and they thought the battery is a lemon =p.
the only one i can rely on is the original samsung extended battery (2000mAh). It's a little bit fatter (1mm more) but great!

Ok guys,
So then this supposed 1900mah battery. I've noticed a clear difference in battery life since I put it in.

These were taken at 45%.
I've used the phone as much as I would on any normal day.
Charging is fine and standard not faster not slower.
I don't expect to be lied to about what is actually in the battery when buying, so I have to take it for granted that the battery is in fact 1900mah. Though I do understand that there is a chance the battery is a fake. At £8 it's a no brainer.
All in all, I recommend the battery.

I can imagine this might be the case if you spend most of your time in a location that has a good wireless signal but a crappy mobile data signal => with wireless enabled, the 3G radio won't keep wasting battery life by trying to connect.
Similarly, if you leave wireless enabled when you're not connected to a wireless network, it will drain your battery because it keeps scanning all the time in the background.
That's my understanding anyway...
I can relate to the concept, it's my understanding too
Any how with 36% still left to go this is what the chart looks like now...
Staggering difference between the two days....
Id still recommend this battery however.... I get more than I did on stock
Sent from my GT-I8150 using XDA App
My battery (Stock) is doing around 2 days.
I don't play that much, an i have almost everything off during the night (sleep time).
i think that wireless is a big battery killer if you have it enable but not connected.
If its connected (not searching) doesn't make a big difference on the overall consumption.
On the first night of my battery cycle,
i have around 15 to 16 hours and around 62% left
on the next morning i have 3% to 5% less so i do a full day (24h) on around 55%
i end up on 15% to 10% on the following night (1 day, 16 hours) and around 5% to 7% on the next morning (2 days)
I think it all depends on what you do and what you have on... overall i think the stock is ok, but i would prefer having one a bit bigger (1800 +)
Anyway ty for the input m8

Is the 2300 a Galaxy S II battery? That's what I'm seeing in some goog searches. Looks like their replacement for ours is 1850. But if it fits, hey.
Lucky you, i had to stick a piece of paper on the top left of my battery pocket in my phone in order for the contacts to align.
There's actually a thread about this battery here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1445938
So far I'm getting a little over 24 hours with little-moderate use on ICS passion.
In the wide majority of test I've seen of Andida batteries, they always add somewhere between 30-50% of their actual capacity. In short, just about every third party manufacturer overrates their batteries and only the OEM numbers are accurate

Apparently some people can't get the contacts to line up correctly and the battery doesn't work out for them.. so it might be a gamble for you.
1800/1500 = 20% increase
2300/1500 = 53% increase
I'm pleased with the batteries performance and understanding of the issues related to fitment. For $20...it was well worth it to me. My phone can stay away from the charger throughout the day.

I understand on paper it should be a 53% increase compared to the stock battery, but is it showing a 50% in reality? I know samsung batteries are legit and should be close to the labeled mah rating. I don't know a thing about andida. I just don't to end up with a battery that might not even fit and is only really putting out like 1900mah.
This is a huge improvement for me. My phone used to be dead after 10 hours unplugged.
Another oddity since putting in this battery, my GPS started to work and lock on again... maybe the pressure it puts onto the phone helped the contact...weird positive side effect for me (I've not bothered to do the GPS contact fixes yet)
Sorry I don't have the fancy Battery stats screens that others seem to have :\
My 2300 andida is running about 14 hours as well. I can get through most of the day without thinking about my charger.
I'm on ics one comsics rc3.1 and I get more than 36 hours on light use, more than 24 hours on moderate use and like eight hours on real heavy use. My heavy usage usually involved full account sync and surfing the web on the mobile network non stop with screen on 75-90% of the time.

i'm on passion, i might have to try out one cosmics if battery life is that great..
Even of the contacts don't fit, you can put paper on the top left corner of the battery socket. And somehow, the battery doesnt need the paper later on. I think the battery gets "used" to the battery socket...

Battery Capacity on the 5T

Hi all,
I'm using AccuBattery Pro and it shows my phone's battery capacity is at 3106 mAh. I understand this is a 3rd party app and it probably not 100% accurate. I'm curious to know what numbers you are getting. I just want a way to validate Oneplus is indeed giving me a 3300 mAh battery. Is it even possible to do?
Is there a better battery app I can use? Let me know...Thanks.

This app is giving you an estimate based on what it thinks your battery is charged to. Because dash charging is different and the battery itself doesn't process its own energy because the wall adapter does, the reported capacity will always be off calibration. Its the same way with my phone on a software based mAh tracker. With my battery tester i have in my garage my capacity is reported as 3300 but my actual capacity is 3221 due to the battery wear. This is my OP5 btw not the 5T.

Thanks. I really appreciate your response and it makes sense based on what you said. I don't know enough about the charging process or to app I'm using to doubt you. I hope you have a good Christmas and New Year. I guess I have nothing to worry about.

If your battery life starts declining significantly such as losing 45 minutes to an hour or around a 8-10% overall idle drain in 24 hours u might have a faulty battery.

Just curious after a month what your AccuBattery stats read now? My Battery Health reading is at 86% ~ 2842 mAh. I have had the phone for about a month and this seems to be troubling if accurate.

I ended up removing the app because I didn't want to get hung up on numbers. The phone does last me all day so I shouldn't complain. What about you?

It does last all day, however, I just don't seem to be getting the SOT numbers that others here are claiming to get. Also, I had a 64gb that I returned for the 128gb version and the first phone seemed to score better on the AccuBattery app than the 128gb version, which leads me to believe there is an inferior battery in the 128gb version.
