[REQ] Google Play Music: Jelly Bean Update - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hey guys, I had a really bad experience trying to flash the new Team Liquid Vicious toro jelly bean V2, so I'm currently on V1. However, it doesn't have the new music app/widget that was totally amazing from the 15 mins I got to play with it before my phone bricked! Can someone grab the apk from it for me, or give me directions on how to acquire it? I'd really appreciate it!

so you are saying that the one from v2 is different than the one from v1? because i have the app from v1 if they were the same

Uhhh not sure if it'll work, but try this? Pulled from my rom.

For some reason, V1 has the regular widget and app for me, while V2 had a different version of both. I didn't have time to catch the version number though.
Thanks anton, giving it a try now!
EDIT: Seems to have worked, or uninstalling updates did. Either way, thanks for the help.

edit. yo can replace the launcher if it bothers you.
I cannot for the life of me find in the OP where it states that the dock is misaligned, it only says for the lockscreen.

The launcher for this rom is sweet. I did get some fc's when I removed the picture and video widget from the homescreen. I simply cleared the launcher data and its all fine. Besides that everything works perfectly.

Vanilla Gingerbread ROM?

New Samsung convert here. I just switched over from my HTC G2. That phone came with plain vanilla Android stock. I really liked that interface over TouchWiz and was wondering if they already released a ROM that was similar to basic android.
I looked in the development page, but I wasn't able to find if any of those were exactly what I am looking for.
Thanks in advance.
I don't believe there's many roms yet. Get a launcher that's better for you like adwex and hang tight. I think most devs are waiting on their devices to arrive.
Deebo took your bike too?
Gingerbread launcher from Eugene on the Market. It says it doesn't work with GSII, but I have it on mine, and it works flawlessly. It's a direct rip from Gingerbread, not a launcher made to look like it. It is it. https://market.android.com/details?...S5lYnByb2R1Y3Rpb25zLmFuZHJvaWQubGF1bmNoZXIiXQ..
This along with the Gingerbread keyboard from Steven Lin, and you have the stock vanilla experience. https://market.android.com/details?...8uYW5kcm9pZC5pbnB1dG1ldGhvZC5sYXRpbi5mcmVlIl0.

has anyone tried this yet? I really liked how fast the stock camera worked in that brief hour or so I spent with my phone before wiping it and installing CM10.. the CM10 camera takes forever to auto-focus and I can't figure out how to turn off the shutter sound either.
edit: Well damn I can't even figure out step 1... this isn't going to be as easy as I thought

Themes Confirmed working on stock ROMS.

figured I share this for those who luv themes now I have done nothing here except send you the links for easy access thank the proper people... that said like anything that is flashed you do so at your own risk I'm not responsible for you borking your phone etc etc that being said,
I have flashed all of these on Triune Kyan and ARISTODEMOS and have all worked 100% so seems that they work on Stock RomS I just wiped cache and Dalvik cache before flashing..

I have not tried JB yet but only one way to find out make sure you do a back up first..
if anyone is having issues with a theme try this flash the AnastasiA_V4 theme like a base and then flash the theme of your choice... good luck
I'm not sure how these work on US variants when coming from the i9300, I flashed the ICS Blue Mod V3 by John Peers on to Aristodemos II and it TOTALLY jacked up my notification pull down.... The icons were themed correctly and all, but the notification window was completely transparent, had a shadow of a giant triangle / up arrow in the center of it, and all my notifications (new email, etc) were transparent against my home screen so the letters were impossible to make out! Are you saying that flashing the AnastasiA_V4 theme first will fix it, because as far as I can tell, there's more tweaking that has to be done in order to get them to work with US variants, it didn't work for me on Aristodemos II - had to flash the ROM back just to clear out all that crap
With the exception of the black theme and the red theme, all the rest cause me to get "system UI has stopped" errors.
No matter what I do I cannot get the others to work.
Rooted stock ICS
Works for me on team insomia...love the clear pulldown great work!!

[Share] Various apps themed to look like Galaxy S4 apps

I was looking around some forums for other devices and I came across a thread in the Note 2 Themes and apps forum ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2383758 ) so I decided to try out the themed apps posted (Contacts, Messaging, Phone, Settings, Task Manager, DownloadProvider, File Manager, ClockPackage, Calculator Keyboard) though Settings and Phone wouldn't work (didn't try multiwindow) with our device, I thought this was some pretty cool stuff, and I wanted to share it with all of you. This is not my work, all credits go to Winterlove for these wonderful mods. All information and files needed are in the provided link.

Quick question tho, did you also install tw_framework.res along with sec_contacts like it said? I'm a bit scared to replace framework.res
edit: I have tried- Jobmanager, calculator, SecContacts, SecMMS, Filemanager, and Download Provider and they all work fine. ClockPackage works ok but there are some text color issues on some headers.
