do an image file search on your emmc / sdcard from your explorer on your pc, locate what directory its in, identify the program its coming from by the name of the directory its in, isolate the app and get rid of it after you delete the images.

Indeed I wanted the alarm clock. For some reason the apk you provided doesn't install though.. any idea why?
More details: I used rom toolbox to delete "digital clock" because I am using "beautiful widgets" and I didn't think I needed the digital clock that acts as the stock clock widget. Didn't realize that I was deleting the alarm clock with it.

well, take this as you will, i myself would just reflash the rom or restore data from my latest backup. ymmv of course. i have been lucky with this phone so far and everything has been going accordingly. i know many others have not had the same results as me. as far as clock apps, there are a ton on the market. good luck!!!
You could also just reflash the theme you're on if you're using one. As long as it came with the app included. I even attempted to adb push it and although it reappeared under /system/app, I couldn't get it to pop back up in the app drawer. I guess it could also be a touchwiz issue and how it may be built in but just a wild guess.

What about the camera focus sound? The last time I checked there is only the sound file for camera capture.
I have been searching around the web but could not find any answer to that. Is it impossible to remove camera focus sound?

+1.... if removing two files or renaming them is too difficult then i really don't know why they're doing modifications to their system if they can't do such a simple task.
then when they have troubles with something, they can't figure it out.

Anyone else finding "hangout_dintone.m4a" on their phone?

Hey all.
I noticed that my phone started duplicating the hangout_ringtone notification ever since I'd rooted the phone with the Galaxy Toolkit. I thought it would go away once I updated it to 4.1.1, but apparently not. It always comes back whenever I reboot the phone and both file sounds exactly alike.
Anyway, I was just curious if anyone else notice a extra "hangout_dingtone.m4a" file in their notification folder or whether I screw up something.
I'm running a stock Galaxy Nexus with 4.1.1 flashed using the instruction from efant's thread.
I'd attached two screenshots of the file.
It's a part of the Google+ app. It use to be hangout_ringtone.m4a but I think they made a spelling mistake and are now just going with it. It will probably be extracted to that location everytime the app is run if you delete it.
Yep. After flashing to yakju with gnex toolkit this file appear on sdcard in folder "notifications". After i delete it, and reboot, it still appear. Don't know what to do with that.

I have 2 Hangout ringtones too. 3rd party ringtone editors cant get rid of them either.
If it bothers you use ADB to remove it.
I would hope you know how and not just use "one click" methods.

Sure since it is a part of Google+ and will be placed there if it is deleted. But you can delete the extra hangout_ringtone.m4a file. I'm not sure why it is a problem. At least Google+ puts it in the right place unlike Facebook.

No, there are two files: hangout_dingtone.m4a and hangout_ringtone.m4a. They made a spelling mistake and you ended up with two files if you were using stock 4.0.4 and an updated G+ app. But now they are sticking with the mispelled one so you can delete the second one for good.

Well, I guess Go Sms it is. Out of all the Roms I've been using, only Blu Kuban and this Rom have issues with MMS. The Goodness had it down pat, there weren't any issues with their messaging apps. Maybe someone from their team can provide some assistance for the Devs for these other 2 roms. Everything else is great!

Try this. The APN backup and restore method works about 80% of the time film me. But I think it is more about coverage and signal where I usually am. I have TiB premium but you can copy / paste app in system/app with a root explorer

After I move the app to the system/app folder and reboot the app no longer shows up in the app drawer. In settings under downloaded apps section it's grayed out. Navigating to it using ES File Explorer trying to click on it and gives a "parsing error" message. I don't know what to do.

There are no galaxy s4 apps "for sprint" lol... just download the system dump, extract the APK file you want, put it on your phone (push into system/apps, set permissions, etc) and see if it works! Of course always make a backup before trying something new!
