[Q] Kindle Fire stock on the boot screen ... i trie everything ... - Kindle Fire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

First hi everybody !
I a french noob, so excuse my poor english and informatic vocabulary .
My kindle fire (bought in New York in decembre), and since few month i'm stock on the boot screen and reboot all the time (not on the yellow triangle, just on the kindle boot).
Indeed, after root by kindle step by step with cmd (on windows). After that, i wanted to install Google Market ...
However, i did a mistake when was necessary to chance the permissions settings and my kindle was stock.
One day (2 months ago), i find the solution in this forum and i be able to almost fix my problem with Kindle Fire Utility, i have been able to install TWRP but in the final step:fingers-crossed:, my kindle rebooted and was once again stock on the boot screen.
And now, there is an another problem : now my kindle is totally stock on the boot screen (no reboot) and when i plug on my pc, KFU write that the boot status is "unknown" and i can't root, or re-install TWRP or does anything on my Kindle... (and the "light" of the kindle is orange ...).:crying:
Someone can help me ? :fingers-crossed:I search on this forum and try everything since few months ...
I have Teamviewer if someone have the time to help a poor french noob :silly:

I'm awfully confused... stock on the boot screen? Do you mean you have the stock bootloader, or that the KF is stuck on the boot screen? Do you have FFF installed? If you are unsure, what does your boot screen look like?
Also, how is your KF reported in the device manager?

Excuse me Dasanko, I used the bad word. "Stuck on the boot screen" of course.
To answer your question, i did'nt install FFF (and i can't launch my Kindle in fastboot).
The logo on the boot screen is just "Kindle fire" in white and yellow.
And for the device manager it's write "Android Composite ADB Interface" (it's KFU driver)...
Ask me all question that you want

If you really don't have FFF installed, but TWRP is...
If you can ever get the ROM to boot, go with "adb reboot recovery" or "adb idme bootmode 5001".
If there's a chance you do have FFF installed (could be a yellow triangle, the words "kindle fire" with an android on them, or the words "kindle fire" with fire being coloured blue) - then see if your drivers are correctly installed and issue "fastboot getvar product", then plug the KF into the computer. From there you should be able to get things fixed.
So, just to be clear, what version of TWRP did you install? You said it was a few months ago, so there's a chance you could have installed 2.0, which did include an older FFF version with it (yellow triangle screen on startup).
If you can neither get back on the ROM or have any version of FFF installed, then your best course of action is to get a factory cable, which will force the KF into fastboot mode, from which you can work to fix the issues.
Be sure you double check the device manager while the KF's screen is stuck and plugged into the computer. It could be just getting stuck in fastboot mode.

[Q] A different kindle problem

I Rooted my KF almost a month ago. i used the KFU 9.5 and everything went fine but i didnt get the yellow traingle loader and superuser. so i run the rooting process again. but it got stuck on the second try until the batt run out. so i got stuck on the "kindle fire" loading screen. but i was able to use the Kindle unbrick utility to fix it. and run the root again this time it was a success but still no yellow traingle and superuser. so i side load the superuser. tried installing the TWRP and firefirefire with the KFU but there were errors. and still didnt have the yellow traingle so i cant access the recovery.
but the result was i had a rooted KF. i also run the KFU 9.5 on my brothers KF the process was a success. he got a yellow traingle but no superuser so i side load the superuser. I got tired of the kindle interface and i wanna load cynogenmod 7. but the problem is that all installers need the yellow triangle.
now what i did is that i use the new kfu 9.6 and tried to root my KF again but it was a fail, so i restored it to factory settings then root it again. it was somewhat success but still i dont have the yellow triangle and what i got was a kindle fire but with a BLUE texted "FIRE" it said press the power button for boot menu.
my choices are:
normal boot
recovery
reset boot mode
tried the "recovery" but all i got was a 4 sec "kindle fire" loading screen. that resets after the time. now what i have is a rooted KF restored to factory settings, with a BLUE kindle fire logo.
can you help me install cynogenmod 7 on my KF? and i think i messed up my loading/booting can i clean them so i'll have a fast loading KF.
thanks guys.
The blue Kindle Fire logo is the equivalent of the yellow triangle, only better.
Turn off your Kindle (not sleep)
Download TWRP 2.1 and place it in your KFU tools folder
Shift+Right click that same folder and select "Open command window here"
In the prompt, enter:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery exact-name-of-recovery.img
When you see "waiting for device", turn it back on
Then reboot and select recovery from the boot menu.
that work Great im now running gederom! thank you soo much!

[Q] Kindle Fire Stuck on Yellow Triangle

Please help. im a noob and tried to root my kindle fire and it was stuck on yellow triangle. so i got a new kindle, and tried it again. now its stuck again. im a noob so please give me EASY instruction. or post a step by step video to help me. Please HELP!!!!!
The newest KFU doesn`t have a bootloader with a yellow triangle sounds like you used a much older version best update that. Your stuck in fastboot for your issue if you didnt break something else using a prehistoric version of KFU. You can use KFU to set your bootmode to normal if your computer will recognize it. Simply select option 1 then 1 again in KFU. You will find the manual instructions here from 64_hit_combo to reset your bootmode http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1750250 .
Novice rooted Kindle Fire HELP!!!!
I tried to root my kindle fire, followed instructions from rootkindlefire.com. rebooted kindle before a successful finish and now I have the yellow triangle. Pressing power button to enter TWRP will not work. Tried reinstalling driver, windows wont let me even with the driver modified. I tried running fastboot. all i get is "waiting on device" I power down and back on, still yellow triangle. Please help.....:crying:
If it's a first gen. Kindle try the method in post 3 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2037513 . If you're using the latest version of kfu you should not have a yellow triangle rather you should have a white kindle blue fire logo that allows you to access recovery in the same fashion but with several quick pushes of the power button at this splash.

[Q] Stuck at Kindle Fire logo

I was following a youtube tutorial to rooting my Fire, when the damn thing got stuck in the boot loop. I have a factory cable, but I still can't seem to figure out how to fix it. When I go through ADB and type "adb devices" all it says is "Listing Devices" or something like that and nothing else comes up. It shows in the device manager as "Android ADB Device" and has the correct hardware IDs. I found somebody with a similar problem in this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1660636 but I followed the steps to solve it exactly as he posted them and they all seemed to work, but at the end it never booted up, and just stayed at the Kindle Fire logo.
This is really getting frustrating because nothing I try seems to work. If you can, please show me toward the steps that I need to take to fix this. If you need any other information, just ask. I hope this doesn't have an obvious answer!
Is the logo blue or orange? Blue is fff and you can go to twrp and wipe everything, then mount and install a Eton. Otherwise you are in fast boot and you can flash a recovery and fff. You can pm me for Questions.

Kindle Fire 2nd GEN bricked... RED SCREEN

Hi,
Well I have had a kindle for a long time and I have successfully applied root to it many times... So this time my kindle was rooted (no problems there)... I tried the cynogenmod but for that I needed to install TWRP recovery... I used the kindle fire utility 2 master to install TWRP. Everything was going fine and then it asked to reboot the device I pressed enter and EUREKA!!!! the kindle turned with its logo but then quickly changed to the RED SCREEN... I didn't want to bother you developers so I searched for a fix... then I needed a Fastboot cable so I made one... So I plugged it in the computer and the Kindle came on with a screen with fastboot written on it and two lights one red and one green(blinking green)... So the next step was to find a program to unbrick it so I searched and downloaded the kindle fire first aide(image posted), kindle fire unbrick utility(image posted) but none of them worked. they both keep on saying " the system cannot find the path specified " (without the quotes) So I need your help I really miss my kindle and want it to live again.
P.S: If it helps when I connect the fastboot cable with my kindle and pc. in the device manager it shows up as otter-02-prod-04(image posted)
P.P.S : I really need your help .... the images can be seen on this thread " http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/xda-assist/kindle-fire-2nd-gen-bricked-red-screen-t2904472 "
This is my new post I tried a new link "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2304584"

[SOLVED] Cyanogenmod Boot Loop, Can't Access TWRP

Hi! Yesterday I rooted my Kindle Fire HD 8.9 with no problems. The problems came after I installed TWRP before installing Cyanogenmod and GApps. Long story short, I got those on there eventually, and when I rebooted my Kindle, it showed the Cyanogenmod splashscreen/ animation, so I thought everything went well. After about, probably, 8 minutes it flashed the Android lock screen, but that's it. So I turned it off, then on again. Now, when I turn it on, first it shows the regular "Kindle Fire" logo with "Fire" being in orange, and then changing to blue, then it just loops showing the Cyanogenmod animation, then flashing the Android lock screen for a split second, then repeating that from the Cyanogenmod animation. I can't get into TWRP when I press the volume up key IMMEDIATELY after I turn the Kindle on. But, I can get it into Fastboot mode, except anytime I do a command, it'll either say "error: device not found", or something like, or it'll say "List of devices connected" followed by the serial number, and next to that "offline". If anyone could help me with this, it would be GREATLY appreciated.
Or, is there a way to completely reset it? At this point, I honestly don't care if I end up with the Amazon OS again, I just want my Kindle back
Anything? I just want to be able to use my Kindle again... At this point I'd rather it have a full factory reset, and just start fresh, as if none of this happened, and leave it that way... :crying:

Are you taking care to include the "-i 0x1949" parameter in your fastboot commands? That's one of the things I would think is preventing the kindle from being recognized. Also, try downloading and installing the Kindle ADB drivers.

Thank you! I eventually got it fixed. Now it's just looping the regular "Kindle Fire" logo in orange :/ but I'm working on getting it back to normal.
