PORT Galaxy S2 GB 2.3.6 Bluetooth Files - Galaxy S II Themes and Apps

Since there are issues with Bluetooth Audio of ICS 4.0.3 is there a way to port the all the Bluetooth associated files for Galaxy S2 in ICS 4.0.3 from the GB rom 2.3.6 or 2.3.9 MIUI. Its is very frustrating when the Bluetooth audio skips at connect.
My problem is the Bluetooth audio connects and everything is fine but when you start playing music it skips at first until you pause the song for few seconds and then press play again. But I cannot do that when using GPS as it cuts the Voice guidance all teh time. The problem is with the Bluetooth AVCRP and associated file.
So I was wondering if it can be ported from GB 2.3.6 or MIUI GB2.3.9? Or is there any other solution to this other then Buying a Nokia or any other phone.

similar problem
I'm interested, too. With 2.3.5 everything fine.
With 4.0.3 occasional bt not connecting, I have to disable and reenable. Also when disabling
Flight mode, bt doesn't return on automatically like wifi.

[Q] Bluetooth on el29 vs fc07 question

When I connect my phone on el29 via Bluetooth with my car stereo I have no issues swapping back and forth from music to phone calls. An issue that I have encountered with fc07 is that I can only choose one or the other and there is a lag between connecting to radio and phone calls. For example on fc07 I am listening to Pandora and my phone rings and I answer no problem with Bluetooth. Once I hang up the call Pandora begins to play through my phone before it reconnects back to the car stereo. On el29 I don’t have this issue so when the call ends Pandora will start back up on Bluetooth right away. I am not sure if this is a bug or if ICS just separates the Bluetooth connections unlike GB which seems to migrate the two functions. I know in pervious build of ICS Bluetooth has some issues but I have not been able to pinpoint this as an issue. I am running Phantom Hacker 4.0 el29 and ran Calkulin’s 1.1 ICS. Any ideas on this?

[Q] Bluetooth problem with all ICS ROMS

Hi,
I've problem with all ICS Roms for SE ARC. Bluetooth is working, find the bluetooth device but can't pair with it!!! It looks like trying to pair but nothing happened & no serial number for pairing appeared!! Ithappened with several bluetooth devices.
With 2.3.7 roms it works perfectly!
It happened specially with my car BT
I've used several ics kernels too (the official one, the doomkernel) nothing works!
Any help?
Im using Arconium ICS V4 and can pair with anything, my cars gps, other phones of all brands, nt having an issue with this Rom at all. Using it as my everyday Rom and still loving it, cant wait for V5 =)
problem in MIUI
this bluetooth problem is faced by me in MIUI v4 rom.
it shows that it is connected but cannot play music via A2DP to my MW600 bluetooth headset.

Bluetooth on ICS?

I haven't tried ICS yet.
Is bluetooth any more functional on ICS than GB?
On GB, I can't get BT to "auto connect" like my blackberry used to.
-Thanks!
I've tried quite a few roms... the bluetooth on ICS is almost up to GB. It is still garbled for me during the first few seconds of a call. Afterwards it only clicks once in a while. A2DP works perfectly, however.
I have no issues with bluetooth on any of the 3 devices I use.
I stream music to my bt headphones all day with no isssues, and autoconnect works great if you can stay on 1 rom
Mine automatically connects to my car when I turn it on with AOKP.

[Q] Jelly Bean Car Bluetooth connection

I didn't see any other threads on this and I'm not sure if it might be specific to the Verizon Galaxy Nexus or Lexus/Toyota cars. Since Jelly Bean, I've already had my car's bluetooth connectivity go into a weird state with the phone three times.
The car will be playing music (default music app) and the navigation app, playing just fine through the car's bluetooth, and then, both the car and phone will indicate connected, but the sound will stop. If I turn off the car, the bluetooth on the phone thinks its still connected. The only way to clear the condition is to turn off the bluetooth on the phone and turn it back on. So much for that "extra" Verizon testing. This all worked fine for me with ICS.
Anyone else see a problem like this?
Thanks!
I am having occasional problems connecting since jb. Was rock solid on ics. I am on sprint and have a Lexus.
This is my only issue with 4.1.

Samsung Galaxy S3 running Omega JB 4.1.1 - Driving a Toyota Prius
Greetings
I myself have experienced odd bluetooth issues with my Samsung Galaxy S3 running Omega JB 4.1.1 version 30 whilst driving my Toyota Prius.
Every 5 mins or 10 mins or so many minutes the audio from my podcast, for example, stops dead and I have to open up the app and hit play for it to continue.
Bizarrely I also experienced this the other day whilst driving a VW too.
Was fine on ICS.
I've you to find a solution.
I've been using Omega since version 25 and have also experienced the same issue on the Wannam custom stock rom.
Tonight I placed the device into Aeroplane mode and kept bluetooth running and the problem persisted.
I have no idea with regards I'm afraid.
Thanks
Dave
Update: I found that the audio issue I was experiencing was not bluetooth specific. I tried direct in to the car audio via the AUX jack and the problem persisted. But I also noted that after a clean install of a rom the issue did not exist so I worked my way towards the removal of the Deezer app and since then I have not experienced the problem. Go figure?
I am not having this problem with my Nexus and my myford touch sync setup. I do, however, get a lag between video and sound, where the sound is behind of the picture and out of sync. *shrug* Wish I could help more.
I can't even do more than phone on my 2012 BMW. No mobile office but calls work fine. When the CSR is turned off it doesn't switch to headset like it will of my wife's 2004 lancer.

[Q] LI8 JB Leak and Bluetooth Audio?

Ok, I have tried several JB ROMs based on the LI8 leak and all of them have the same problem: bluetooth audio does not work for PowerAmp. I use PowerAmp for playing music because, lets face it, its one of the best players out there. However when I sync it to my car, music will not play through my car speaks even though I can still make and take phone calls. I tried Player Pro and bluetooth audio did work through my car after installing the DSP add on pack.
Now my question is this: is the LI8 leak missing certain bluetooth audio related files that make bluetooth audio work correclty or has it changed how it handles bluetooth audio streaming?
Try removing Musicfx.apk. reboot and try again.
If that works try using dsp manager as a replacement for musicfx.

I tried this and it still does not work. Could the LI8 leak be missing bluetooth files or using a different bluetooth profile?
I wanted jb but I had this problem with many ROMs. Then it started working but the BT audio would constantly disconnect and have crackle sounds as I played music. So I went over to aosp based ROM and all my problem just about went away. My only complain is that the s3 lacks in BT output power. I can't go 10 from my phone without music starting to skip. I used to go 20-25 ft with my lg phone and the HTC evo 4g lte.. I love my Bluetooth headsets but I'm giving them to my sister and I'm buying the Sol republic track HD. But you use it in car so it will be tougher for you

I discovered that problem a while ago when I switched to PowerAmp.
Good news is: Bluetooth audio DOES work, once you go around the problem.
The problem: PowerAmp on LI8 doesn't work with Direct Volume Control for Bluetooth.
The fix: Go into PowerAmp -->Settings-->Audio-->Advanced Tweaks-->Disable Direct Volume Control. Your bluetooth audio will now work.
