Hi guys,
I have a problem. I was playing around with a few jelly roms and suddenly i can't wipe the phone.
CWM gets stuck at Formatting /data.
I can't even restore nandroid, gets stuck at restoring /data.
I have no idea what to do, can any of you guys help out?
Nevermind guys, i fixed it.
If anyone else encounters the issue, simply flash an original ROM from the GNex toolkit, reflash CWM and everything is fine
I must admit i was sweating for a moment.

I flashed to pays rom, successfully yesterday.
today, i wanted to wipe my phone (entered wrong gmail account so didnt have access to paid apps)
after doing so, ive been stuck in an endless boot screen.
anyone shed some light on the situation?
Oops. I think this happened to some G1 roms too.
Reflash?
the rom was absolutely flawless before this.
ive tried.
with 2 different roms.
wiped everything i possibly can in recovers & fastboot
insult to injury; recovery-windows wont load, so i cant even get past recovery screen.
My mistake. recovery-windows is loading. now flashing. again.
so then, managed to flash some sense based roms alright, until i get past bootloader.
com.android.acore error messages all the time.
loaded nexdesire rom fine with no errors.
ideas anyone?
Out of interest, did you re-partition your SD Card for A2SD at all??
If so... Try re-partitioning it again in recovery mode, but use it all as storage (no ext partition), wipe and re-flash.
I did.
I'll try that now and pray it works
Get in!
Working absolutely fine now

Have you tried flashing a different ROM yet? If you have, the most extreme thing to do left would be to completely unroot and restore to stock Sense...
Hey,
when I had that issue just wiping data cache and Davlik cache and that would allow me to reboot the phone, I ended up running an ruu and installing a custom recovery and that seemed to fix it for me, but I might have just got lucky.
Stevo
i ended up flashing Calkulins_FORMAT_ALL and that did the trick, thanks tho everyone
So, to start off, I had CM7.2 on my epic 4g touch. It was working great but than I dont know why, I decided to upgrade it to CM9 just to get ICS taste. But than I went to system and did full system wipe and thats where it all started. It restarted and got stuck at big android guy logo with some square rotating on his tummy. It was there for good 10 mins when I decided to restart. Didnt work and kept going back there. I went to CMW and tried reflashing it didnt work. I tried different roms and than got stuck in boot loop. Than I went to download mode and tried to flash stockcmw_EL26.tar.md5 and I got cmw 5.0 something running. I than tried do clean wipe and install different roms. it will either get stuck at erasing /data or will not install roms at all. So now three days later. I am still stuck with a bootloop phone with nothing able to install.... PLEASE HELP ME!!! Its driving me insane. Also, I do have it flashed to boost which I really dont wanna loose. I also have nandroid backups which I tried to restore but they all fail to restore /data and restores everything else but ultimately, it wont still get the phone outta bootloop.
Your bricked. When it didnt boot up right the first time you should have odin'd back to EL29, or whatever.
Your data partition is jacked and you will need a replacement.
You should have installed it exactly like the instructions said.
Also you could not find an answer in the other 100 bricked threads in here... You are not the only one with this issue. Take a moment and read the results of others which may of saved you from the Brickhouse. Sorry not trying to flame you just this stuff has been all over the forum for days and days.. Oh yea using Touch CWM tisk tisk tisk....
Playya out!

Hello,
I've been using my device normally, when all of a sudden it froze and shut itself down. I've tried booting it up multiple times, but it wouldn't do. I thought that it might be up to the battery, so I've gotten a new one, but it's not up to it.
However, I've been able to enter TWRP Recovery. I thought that wiping data, cache and dalvik would help me get rid of my problems, but it didn't. Obviously, I can't mount anything, because everything seems to be encrypted. I wanted to flash another ROM, but I can't do so without connecting the storage with my PC. Now I'm cluelessly stuck in the Recovery.
Can anyone help me? I'd be very grateful if so. I might have made a foolish mistake somewhere, so please don't get harsh on me. The custom rom I've been using is CandySix
Good day guys
I'm having a problem with my s9 g960f. I installed a custom rom and then tried to flash stock after. Ever since then the phone only stays on the samsung logo when booting up. In recovery it also says e:/ failed to mount efs. I think this is the reason why its not booting up. I didn't make an efs backup so i dont know what to do now. Is there any way i can fix my phone? I would appreciate any help you guys can give me. Thanks!
