Hi to everyone!!!
If you're in love, like me, for the AURORA Live Wallpaper from Samsung Galaxy Note (or Galaxy Tab too) probably you've already downloaded it from this forum...but unfortunately, 'cause of its big resolution, it lags a little bit on the stock launcher, and the page scrolling results an ugly experience with these lags...
Is there a solution? OF COURSE!!!
I've taken the Live Wallpaper graphic files and created from these 4 NEW HQ WALLPAPERS, with different skies and aurora's effect...just like the original live wallpaper!!!

Im looking for a live wallpaper the same as the Nexus 7 "X" boot screen.
The play store has one buts its misserable quality and terrible resolution.
Does anyone know where I can get the animation from to make it a live wallpaper?
I read thats its somewhere on your device but im not sure where or how to set it as a livewallpaper?

On a sepperate note. Would someone be so kind to upload me the latest version of MX Player. Its a bit bugged on my device and always tells me I have insufficient storage although I have 8GB free.

Bootanimation.zip is located at; /system/media
No clue about making into a live wallpaper though
In the zip, it's just a bunch of .png image files that make up the animation

Hmm, the one you posted megacoolrock is the one I was talking about. Its extremely low resolution and pretty bad!

I was wondering if any kind developers could try to port the lockscreen from the lg optimus g to our device. Theres alot of request I have seen on the threads so im sure that alot would be greatful. I have searched and found the apk for it but not as wise as some here.

Not yet. We only have the lockscreen apk and odex files. If someone can figure out how to port it then they can make a flashable zip.
I would imagine we'll need to mod the framework or something

I would guess at changes to framework.jar, android.policy.jar and images added to framework-res.apk...
Haven't done it myself before and don't really have the free time lately to dig into a new project...

Just noticed aokp has pretty much the same lockscreen but uses different images. This could be as simple as replacing some png files...
Gonna try it tonight and see what happens.
Of course that will just emulate the animation, not the water droplet sound or other options for the lg lockscreen. Hoping someone can port it properly soon.

It would take me all night to explain what I have done lol so when I find something more solid I will share dont want people messing up there devices because they tried something I posted. I have been blessed with three e4gts so I can take more risks than most hope you understand. I have a few people working with me right now trying to figure it out also working on multi window and building a rom and waiting for next leak.

This is good, but porting between lg phones should be somewhat different as the framework should still be similar. Needless to say, one could try to compare both this and the original you posted earlier, see what changed, and tackle these changes on the files on our devices.

Do you remember on the vibrant that maple leaf live wallpaper. It is my favorite and I downloaded it for my sgs3 after reading some threads. Unfortunately it doesn't want to open and just says it has stopped working. Can I make it work somehow? Or download a different version? Thanks for the help, I really miss that one.

This is not a bad idea and there are actually a few really nice wallpapers between them. But uploading them here, in time, will lead to the servers getting filled with not so useful data. So I would suggest posting only 2-3 wallpapers here, the ones that you like the most, and if you want to upload more, put them in a zip and use the common sharing sites to upload them. Also, this way, you won't be scrolling too much to get to a certain post.
It's just an idea.
Also, try not to use watermarks on the wallpapers. Not sure how many people would use those images like this.

The watermarks are from Tapatalk, I think there's no way to don't use it if you upload from the phone.
Also, I agree with you, 2-3 wallpapers are enough.

Yep. I know the watermarks are from Tapatalk. That was kind of my point. Don't use that to upload wallpapers. Try to do it from your computer or use a sharing site and post here the link to the image. This way, the ones of us who liked that image, can have it without the watermark.
Go to graphicburger.com, they have the most awesome wallpapers.
