How to enable sound on bootanimation - Kindle Fire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've looked for over an hour and have had no luck in finding any info for kindle fire specific instructions. Has anyone been able to get sound on a bootanimation, even a link to the boot animation would be helpful so I could look at the desc file.

This thread has a program called Pushboot make sure you follow the directions and run the correct version and you should be good to go...

Boot Animations

Does anyone know what the underlying mechanism for running the boot animation is? I have Android 2.2 on an HTC Incredible and replaced the VZW_Droid.mp3 and VZW_bootanimation.zip with some animations I did, but all I get on boot is a blank screen. Do the files in the zip have to be named the same way, or do they just have to be in alphabetical order?
Thanks!

Cool, thanks guys. I will post when I get back home. I've been doing some searching as well and it seems that you have to set the compression mode to "store" when you create the archive. Not sure where to do this on a mac, but I'll see if I can figure it out.
As a side note, does anyone know what the fields in the desc.txt file are? I figured out the first two are image size, but any idea what the third number on the first line is? Frame rate maybe? And then the next lines specify directories, but I have no clue what the numbers in front of them mean.
Arg, sorry - second paragraph of questions answered in the thread IncredibleDoes posted...
SOLVED
Alright, the "store" problem was the issue. According to the zip documentation, "store" compression doesn't actually compress the files, it just archives them (I guess similar to .tar). So once I did that it worked fine. For anyone else using a Mac from the command line its
Code:
zip -r -Z store desc.txt part0 VZW_bootanimation.zip
You can, of course, specify other directories as well. The sound also started working once the animation did, nothing special there.
And now, I've posted the animation I made. Nothing special, I'm just a big half life fan and whipped this up with my very limited animating skills. Enjoy!
Hmm...won't let me upload the .mp3 file. I guess message me if you want it...

[Solved] Boot Animation Help

Ok, I have been pulling my hair out over this creating a boot animation process! Here are the things I have tried:
http://www.xda-developers.com/android/tutorial-and-step-by-step-guide-to-creating-boot-animations/
This is a great tutorial and I am pretty sure I am following it correctly, but when I install the one I created I get a black screen instead of a boot animation.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1678540&highlight=create+boot+animation
This is a nice little tool, and I used it. I created the animation, previewed the animation and it all looks good and appears to work. That is until I install it on my phone, I have even tried to use the program to push to my phone, but I don't think it likes me. All I get a black screen instead of the boot animation.
I have changed the permissions to rw--r--r.
I have created the desc.txt with Notepad++ and windows based notepad.
I am saving it into system/media.
I am verifying the name is "bootanimation.zip".
I have tried to use ROM Toolbox to install it but still get a black screen.
The dimensions are 480x800 and FPS is 30.
I am running the CM10 Global ROM build 1 by DKStunna108
Here is the file if someone has time to look at it and see if something looks off: http://d-h.st/I1Y
Any help would greatly be appreciated, I am just not sure what I am doing wrong...it is probably something easy that I am over looking.

PokemonGo Boot Animation For Xiaomi Mi A1 (Very easy to use)

A must-have boot animation for all PokemonGo lovers. if you are a Pokemon lover, just try it once and you will never want to switch to any other boot animation ever! It will definitely flaunt your device and set it apart from others. People will start noticing it as soon as you start using it. And they will probably be surprised how did you do this magic! Just kidding! But yeah, you will definitely start getting questions like "How did you do it?" "Please help me getting it" etc. Just smile and make a face like "Hey it's a magic"!! Try it to believe it.
Instruction to use:
You don't really need to flash the zip file. I will make it very simple for you. Just download the zip file from the given link. The zip file will be like "bootanimation.zip". Now just open ES file explorer or any file manager with root access. Now locate the downloaded bootanimation.zip file and copy it. Now go to /system/media and you will see there is already a bootanimation.zip file. That is your current boot animation zip file. Just rename the current bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip1 for future reference and now paste the downloaded bootanimation.zip file that you copied earlier. Now just restart your device and enjoy all the superheroes on your device. Please note, it won't replace the stock "AndroidOne" splash screen that shows at the beginning.
If you like the boot animation, don't forget to hit Thanks. It would inspire me to give you more cool boot animations like this.
