I Dont think, its Galaxy S2, dump. It has Touch Wiz 3.0 Launcher...

Tried, but cant install the TWlauncher. Now trying other apks.

System APK are not installable, you can copy or push them to system/app folder...

You just have to resign them and/or remove any shared uid's they have since ur signing it using testkey's which are incompatible with those that pre-exist for that shareduid.

One thing we are lucky in that TouchWiz 4.0 is the same resolution as TouchWiz 3.0 at 800x480 so we don't have to worry about scaling issues like the guys porting Sense 3.0 to WVGA devices are struggling with.
I've seen some videos of TouchWiz 4.0 and while I traditionally don't like Samsung's UI all that much, I have to admit it looks pretty slick. Hopefully somebody with some skills can get in here and work some magic.

Can you tell me how to do that ?

I will give it a try and resign&rename the tw launcher..
I removed META-INF & signed it, but no luck.. Not working :-(

Just tried Polaris Office and it works, Gallery doesn't...noooot even Polaris FC when I try to open PPSX :'(

Very easy.
Decompile using apkmanager/apktool
Go in the AndroidManifest.xml and remove the sharedUID attribute.
Recompile and resign
Tada (fyi, last i was on touchwiz n on irc got hold of the twlauncher from this "dump", twlauncher fc'd....it seemed to be missing libs so tht'd b ur best bet to try libs from /system/lib.

Theme for iphone launcher only for cynogenmod

As iphone launcher has bug that it not make apps icone like ios style I thought how about if i make theme for it by applying basic system icons
and I want to give an idea to all you guys
Its realy in initial stage and i modify only lunarui theme for looks of app like ios
I will update it with more icones later on other theme
You can modify it and give here
and also help me by suggest theme of cm7 which included lots of icons because as i include new icons in this theme it not change in app drawer
so please suggest theme that has lots of icons so i can modify it
How to apply theme
install normally as any app
choose theme in theme chooser
then have to reboot for make changes in icons
after reboot you get ios type icon

I wouldnd get excited. It wont connect to wifi, its very jittery and wont come out of deep sleep when locked for more than a few seconds. It think the fixes are probably simular to the current cm7 fixes, i just dont have the time. Im working on my-ui, a miui port(probably wont happen) and a kernel. Its not a priority, it was just something i worked on over the weekend to give me a break.

Very much so, more a "I really dont have the time or inclanation!" I find these clones limited, i was mainly interested in the framework for my-ui. But ive found a better option. Like i said in an earlyer post, i wouldnt relise. . . But people want, people get!

Yes its lunarui theme with icons i changed to ios
and support transparent statusbar

If someone could port sth similiar to that which runs on gooapple 3g phone or I saw sth on youtube and it was called an IOS clone for htc or sth like that, then it would be really great

ICS Flavored Droid-Life Apk

Here is a ICS flavored Droid-Life apk if anyone wants it. I know I go here for all my droid news and info. Just uninstall any current version your running and install the apk via your system or side load through dropbox!

Great effort. One idea might be to make the background black to make it contrast the text a bit more. Love the icons at the bottom too.

Can someone pull apk for Jelly Bean Google search for GS III?

Possible to pull yes will it work probably not.

It doesn't work. I pulled the apk from my galaxy nexus and when you try to install it you get a parse error

yea i saw it too ... google did great and looks prettier in my opinion . thats the biggest feature in jb that i want . iphone maybe the first but its certainly not the best anymore .

I agree w you on all points. Take it from an iphone user 3 phones ago and never looked back after my first evo. To me the iPhone looks like a dumbed down phone with o customization other than case. Ugh!

Did you try to push it into system apps with a root explorer? Usually a parse error happens if you just try to hit "install" without pushing first.

I'd assume it needs the framework from Jellybean to work. I don't think this'll work on any other version of Android at this point.

I've seen devs pull off some awesome stuff, it would be cool if we could get this working without JB

The problem of pulling it from GNex is jellybean is sdk=16 while we on ICS sdk=15. That's why there is a parse error when trying to install. Needs to be made backwards compatible by a modder to work on anything but JB.

Read on Galaxy Nexus TORO (VZW), TORO PLUS (Sprint) & MAGURO (GSM) users :thumbup:
Tested on the following ROMs:
Nexus Evolution - Toro
Paranoid Android - Toro & Toro Plus
XenonHD - Toro
Atom421 - Toro
But these mods will work on any ROM with themes chooser.

For the boot animation to work first you have to move your current bootanimation.zip OUT of your system>media folder (move it anywhere in your SD CARD... DO NOT DELETE IT in case you get tired of the Xperia boot animation and want to go back to whatever boot animation you had. Then you need to move/copy the bootanimation.zip file you downloaded from this thread to system>media using any file explorer. No need to edit permissions, just reboot after you've moved the file.
This will get you a taste of Jelly Bean and all the eye candy from Sony Xperia UI.
I know some of you are willing to pay for a nice app... Trust me, the XPERIA THEME paid version is worth every penny. And you should be able to bill it to your Vzw account if you're downloading it from the Play Store
ALL THE .apk FILES INCLUDED IN THIS THREAD ARE FILES I FOUND FLOATING ON THE WEB. JUST SEARCH FOR'M ON GOOGLE AND YOU WILL FIND THEM.

Instructions:
Flash the ROM - Go through the set up process on the ROM like you normally would.
Download and install the theme from the play store the go to settings/themes select Xperia theme and apply then reboot the phone.
Install Xperia Launcher and set it as your default launcher.
Last, install all the apk files.

No, only tested on TORO (VZW Galaxy Nexus). You can try it on any Maguro ROM with THEMES built in.

You want people to pay for a theme you admittedly didn't create but simply "put together"? FYI, XDA doesn't allow for paid apps/themes on their website without a free version.

Doh, he's sharing and linking everything he used to make his phone like the Sony xperia making it convenient for others who wanna do the same. That's what he means by "putting together". He's not getting money if you buy that theme he linked.

Apologies I did misunderstand that the theme was not his own. That being said it's likely the link gets pulled as it's still against XDA rules to post links to paid apps.

Thank you Jlanitti!!!! Before you start throwing Sh*t at me read OP... I DID NOT CREATE THIS THEME.... I'm not getting paid if you download the theme. In my personal opinion, that theme is the best I've seen so far (I might be wrong with the 'I think is the best' statement) but that's why I asked if someone knows a free theme they can share the link or apk in this thread.

Apologies accepted. I'll edit it so it doesn't get pulled. I've been using this Theme for the past 3 weeks, testing it (the way I put it together) and everything works. It's only fair other people know about it.

Been using the Theme from JasonEvil for the past hour or so. His Theme is a nice option for those who won't pay for an app or can't afford to spend any money.
