What happened to VooDoo OTA Rootkeeper in the Play Store? - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Does anyone know why I can no longer find the OTA rootkeeper app in the store?
I did find it on the website.

Not compatible with your phone, I think ICS in general.
Apps that aren't compatible with your phone don't show up in the Play Store.

OTA Rootkeeper is compatible with the Galaxy Nexus. Not sure why you are not seeing it in the market. I see it there.

I just realized I can see it from my Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet, but not my GN or my pc browser (chrome). Kind of strange...

#OTARootKeeper back on GooglePlay as v2.0.1. Moto devices excluded: fails for a reason I cannot guess from 1* ratings, no matter how many.

This app is compatible with all of your devices.
T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Nexus
Asus Transformer
... probably it hasn't been applied to your play store, try wiping its cache for the play store and try again.

DPI settings effect which apps are shown in the play store...

[Q] Sideloading apps and Google Play

Hi guys
I was given an apk from Gameloft as a "gift". It is normally a paid app on google play. Is there a way to have the play store recognize my app so I can install it from there going forward?
Thanks!
As far as I know, Google Play will recognize the app even though you've sideloaded it.
You won't be able to get upgrades from the play store, but it will recognize the app is installed.
Thanks much =]
Too bad I'd love for the play store to be my one stop shop for the app going forward

Jelly Bean Outside US new restrictions?

So I have been using 4.1 on my Gnex for the past couple of days (Outside the US).
Installed Play Movies and Google Earth from US market using market enabler.
I am unable to see or open these apps even though they are installed on my phone.
I even got an update for play books.
The open links in the play store have disappeared and the apps are not shown in the drawer either.
I can confirm they are installed and the issue only affects 'US Play store only' apps.
Highly disappointed, anyone else facing this issue and any solutions?
This is not an ussue..
Where do u live ? I live in Brazil and google cannot sell books here yet, so the app doesnt work

Everything working fine in UK
I'm in India, i understand not being able to use services not available in the country. But i'm not able to see or open the app. Even Google earth seems to be affected by the issue.

I am in India too, and I managed to install the Play Books and Play Movies app through the Google Play website. I was also able to install Google earth.
In Play Books and Movies, if you click the market button, it just takes you to the apps store and not to the respective app sections though..
Found a fix!
Not sure why none of you are facing this issue but I tried stock 4.1 and awesomebeats.
Anyway I noticed the apps that were invisible in the drawer were highlighted blue in titanium backup. I selected the "Defrost" option for each in titanium and those apps are now available. Thanks for the replies guys.

Gonna go out on a limb and guess you changed your dpi. Changing it can cause play store compatibility issues.

Play store not showing Nexus devices

My play store doesn't show any devices for purchasing. If I click on any web links to the nexus 4, 7 , or 10 it just opens the play store app on my phone. I'm running the latest cm10 ROM (Oct 28) and I'm with telus in BC, Canada.
Is anybody else experiencing this?

Try clearing the "default app" data, that way when you click the link you can select a browser instead of the Play Store app.
Same here (Germany, jbsourcery rom). I can only see them in the web market on my computer. No clue why.

Do what wiredpirate suggested. Go to settings, apps, Play Store, and clear defaults then try the links again. Should work fine =]
forgot to mention to pick BROWSER after clicking the links. The devices won't show up in the play store app.

Because hardware not available for purchase via the app. Yep, it really is that simple- nothing wrong with your phone, that's just the way it is.

tablet apps in the play store that aren't available to install?

just got an n7. like it a lot but one thing is confusing to me... why do some(actually, a lot) of the tablet specific apps in the play store show as not available to install? example... bank of america has a tablet app but i'm forced to install the phone one instead.
am i missing something obvious?

Search these forums for phablet, Google's odd solution to the bigger than a phone but smaller than a tablet interface. In some ways you get the worse of both worlds instead of the best. The search will turn up all sorts of info on the way folks feel about it.

Isn't there a way to trick the market to give us full tablet apps?
Google for a app called lucky patcher. It can patch play store. Never used it myself. So backup your device.

You can just search here at XDA for a useful thread that provides various special versions of the Play Store. You can install one that will force everything to be for a certain dpi value or to ignore dpi or many other options. I have a special version on my Dell Streak that I got from here.
