Any idea for rooting LU6200 version 620163

I got this version since bought (software version 620163 ICS 4.0.4) i have tried to root from rooting files that you guys gave from other threads but not successful.

Fist of all you need to download rom ver 135 csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/swdata/WEBSW/LGLU6200/ALGTBK/LU620135_00/LU620135_00.kdz
and up then using this tool to root

Then you up rom ver 163 csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/swdata/WEBSW/LGLU6200/ALGTBK/LU620163_00/LU620163_00.kdz
and root using the same above tool
How to up please google it
Then enjoy your phone

in short version
you need to have 143 engineering version
you need tools which are attached on the above thread (only work on XP if you dnt have it then you can use XP on VMware)
Use tools to install Cloack work mod tools in short (CWM) and root your phone
when you are done you will have 143 ROOTED
boot in recovery, create backup and you are ready to flash
download your favourite rom from internet and flash it using CWM!
if you get in trouble just restore backup and start again

This tool can be rooted 163 without downgrade.

Hi, like the title says i need to find the "unofficial" ATT ICS leak. I know that the official ICS flashable ROM is available from HO!NO! but that is not what I want.
Was going to use CWM to flash: signed_HO!NO!_P930_UDT_v18f_04112012-CWM-Flashable.zip (if I can find it)
Then was going to use "LGMobile Support Tool" to upgrade to official ATT ICS ROM (v20c)
I believe this method should remove root access from my device.
Any help is appreciated. Thx!

Thx for the link but I found a copy on my hard drive and it worked like a champ to remove superuser.

LG Optimius E615

Hi All,
I wish to start a new thread for LG Optimus E615 with the hope that 615 users will get help from XDA colleagues for unlocking the boot loader, install custom recover, kernel and ROM. I am not a developer, so sorry for my ignorance if I type anything funny.
We have a good rooting guide for 615 written by XxXKINGMAKXxX @ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2098550 . A lot of thanks to him. I have seen dedicated pages for LG 610 and 612 in XDA for unlocking the boot loader and for custom recrovery and ROM that support overclocking and other features.
I welcome help from everyone those wish to assist us.

After rooting using the link you provided, you have instructions in this thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2163698 - to unlock bootloader and install CWM recovery. There is a link there with specific E615 files for bootloader unlocking.

Thanks for your reply.However a reboot loop issue has be reported from many guys and the fix for the reboot issue is to install the unofficial firmware by Chacha_Ivanov, Right? I believe Chacha_Ivanov firmware is only for E610 / 612 right? 615 is dual SIM and will it be suitable? Or just wanted to know whether the reboot loop issue is there with E615 official firmware?

Would any of this work on E617G ? And I couldnt locate any flashable roms for the Optimus. Any pointer?

So far I did not see any thing for 617 model. However there are tutorials available for Rooting, Unlocking boot loader and installing CWM recovery..

i rooted my phone ( E615 ) and tried to follow this thread for moving apps to SD card : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1476121
but at step D, when says to copy attached file ( link2sd.apk ) to system/app root, i dont find this address in my phone !!!
what should i do ?

after you installed the custom recovery were you able to install a custom rom? what version of CWM did you install?

Seems no one is cooking a custom rom for this type of phone. Ive' been constantly checking for the jellybean update but it seems no update for LG E615. I regret buying this phone.

are you sure this is working on lg e615?

there is a new firmware for E615, version V20D, seems to be android 4.1.
have you tried it ?
i tried it using kdz uploader, but cant flash phone with this firmware, it gives error in kdz at last ... so i had to reflash my last version, V10n

you mean you installed V20D on your e615 using KDZ and it's working ?? if so, can you indicate the tutorial you followed please ? thanks a lot !

I just used KDZ updater and I never encountered any problem at all.

Korean F180S ICS KDZ needed. Please, if anybody have this KDZ please share...

I tryed to update my F180S with Mobile Support Tool, and it did it. to 4.1.2
But when i inserted a sim card, the baseband, IMEI are all gone... just nothing. I heard if I flash back to Stock 4.0 ROM it will restore....
I searched it in many forums, sites. Tried to flash many ther kdz's but it won't help....
Just anyone who have the original kdz... please share it

i think you forgot flashing your baseband after installing kdz, if yes so baseband link ishere
Unzip the downloaded archive and you will find a batch file named ‘modem-flash’ inside it. Make sure ‘USB Debugging’ is enabled on your phone and your phone is in ‘Charge only’ mode while connected to the PC. Run the ‘modem-flash’ batch file.
Keep an eye on your phone screen as you will need to tap the grant permission button on SuperSU pop-up. If you miss the pop-up as it expires after 10 sec, run ‘modem-flash’ batch file again.
Once the baseband has been flashed successfully, reboot your phone
and if you want to revert back so kdz files are here

No. i didn't forgot to flash baseband. I flashed it many times by many ways, but the result is same. I still haven't got back my signals6

Flashing basebands from other version of optimus G is safe just flash back correct one.

nmka0601 is right m8, the topic title says ICS but after installing your phone is android 4.1 and that is for me JELLYBEAN!!!

Can someone use this ? Cannot install this since i use root and TWRP.

Intalled zip EURO OPEN and working
I've just made a zip file from the EURO OPEN KDZ from wimmme's link from the op , and it's working with philz recovery.
Uploading at this moment to mega
What i did ...
On my D802 phone i had open euro KK 20C version installed with root and TWRP recovery
I installed philz touch recovery Philz recovery for D802 (thanks to Prabu33) . I did this because my first test was not working with an other file I made , and i was thinking TWRP was the problem.
So try your own recovery first !
In philz recovery i did "wipe data/factory reset" > "clean to install a new rom"
Installed my zip.
Installed supersu update 1.93 Supersu (thanks to Chainfire)
Reboot system
All is working fine here ,and at this moment I'm busy with reinstalling all my apps

So to be clear ... I've ended up with a rooted EURO OPEN d80220D rom and with philz recovery and with knock code
