[Q] - Torrent Client - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Do you guys recomend any Torrent Client with no speed limitations??? What do you guys use?
Enviado de meu Galaxy Nexus usando o Tapatalk 2

I use tTorrent Pro, but I hear BitTorrent has a beta in the Store right now.
I highly recommend tTorrent Pro; it's excelent. BitTorrent, on the other hand, is BitTorrent. Need I say more?

BitTorrent sucks balls. I stopped using their PC client long ago to only use uTorrent. (I know it's now owned by BitTorrent Inc, makers of BitTorrent, but they never made it to begin with and it's awesome)
For Android, though, I highly recommend tTorrent Pro.

Another vote for tTorrent Pro. Works great and has a nice interface.

Thanks all for your answers. I always use utorrent on pc, i will try tTorrent Pro now

You will not be disappointed.

You could also use Transdroid to connect to your desktop client to add torrents and whatnot. Works a treat when I need to download something when I am at work or at the park or whatever.

you can try adownloader

Has anyone tried the bittorrent client for Android? Never tried tTorrent before.

aDownloader is top notch. Fast, no speed limits, unlimited downloads and uploads etc.

I've used it and it's like any other torrent client. I guess I would probably lump it closer to Transmission if anything. On 4g it will start really slow then max out the connection in no time.... the down side is that it will max out the bottom end of your battery really quickly as well. I can't say that I reccomend using tTorrent for an extended period of time. Works great in a pinch but you will have to kill it when you are finished.

Browser question.

Longtime HTC sense user here and I'm missing a feature.. I really liked that when you clicked on a video it would ask if you wanted to watch online , or download.
Is there any way it could be added, or is there an app that does this.
(besides youtube download) I believe it worked for streaming mobile sites, not flash.

Tablet talk

I can get tablet talk to connect and function perfectly on my n7 connected to my S3 via bluetooth, but it keeps disconnecting frequently via wifi.
I've changed ports to 8080 on both but still the problem persists. Would prefer to have wifi as the would be less drain on both my n7 and S3 that way.
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Anyone know what could be wrong? Apple is useless to me this way.

I used to use TabletTalk but since getting my Nexus 7 it never worked 100%. DeskSMS and TabletSMS from ClockworkMOD work perfect and wayyyyyy better.
http://www.clockworkmod.com/
DeskSMS
TabletSMS
Works awesome in chrome with the extension as well.
mysms has also worked well for me and is free. It will also sync as long as both are connected to the internet (ie you don't have to be on the same network).
I also connected n7 and s3 with tablet talk but when a SMS arrives it isn't synched with tablet and I don't hear notification sound in my s3 so I've lost a lot of SMS. Do you use s3 with stock or custom ROM??

I also use TabletSMS, this one is not depending on the devices to be connected to each other or even on the same network, i never got tablet talk to work the way i wanted, especially when i lost the connection i had to physically connect my phone to the tablet again using the connect button, nothing else worked, but this one works perfectly, always.
Works great for me. One of my top used apps on the Nexus7 . Use WiFi mode mostly but works fine using Bluetooth. Never have and issue synching it with my gnex on wither mode.

Thanks for posting this I'm trying it out now. It sucks its a yearly thing but 5 bucks isn't much at all.

i use tablet talk and was experiencing the same problem. the issue is that most roms, even stock if im not mistaken, disables wifi after the screen has been off so long... solution: go into settings and change wifi scan to bigger intervals.. worked for me. hope this helps

Do you use WI-FI or bluetooth connection? Which is the best to save battery life?
Inviato dal mio Nexus 7 con Tapatalk 2
Have you tried SyncSms? It syncs your texts utilizing Dropbox or Google. Been using it a long time and it works beautifully. You'll need a network or wifi connection for your tablet. Learned about it on XDA as an XDA fellow created it. It costs a few bucks but worth it. Do a search and you should find it. Highly recommend it.

TabletTalk is different. Connect to your phone via Bluetooth and you can put your phone in your pocket and go anywhere and tTalk makes you like a phone. Connection to internet is not necessary nor is data.
I use Tablettalk all the time over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth all the time. The trick for me on Wi-fi was to put the IP address in the tablet to the phone. then it connects and stays connected everytime.. Just my two sense work..
Tablettalk is the cream of the crop.. works an dsome of the newer featrues coming will be great.. (p.s. Not i dont work for them. I just love this app)

Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium
simply u can't
There's Moonlight (Mono-based), and they seem to have a working Android port, but I'm not quite sure if it was ever released.
Why do you wanna run SilverLight applications on your Note..?

Good thinking... my question was done because the only site that I use and that uses Silverlight is Netflix, and it's useless on the smartphone because they have their own app.

Yeah there are a few sites which use Silverlight. Hate it when that happens. Ugh.
Highly unlikely such a plugin would hit play store anyways. It's Microsoft's proprietary software right?

Looking for ultimate browser (strict popup blocking & flash)

Hi,
What's the best browser if I want flash support, and strict pop-up blocking?
I'm using Dolphin browser HD (an old version that supports flash), which works with flash ok, but it lets the pop-up's through (even though pop-up blocking is turned on).
Any suggestions?

I wonder why Firefox doesn't offer a homepage. I personally set my homepage to my Google Reader page. I get to see some headlines before surfing throughout the day.
Having tabs on startup just creates more clicks without any added benefit.
Also, the switching through tabs is a nightmare compared to Dolphin.
Tried FireFox and it doesn't support flash well at all. Embedded videos are very hard to use compared to the stock Samsung browser. And Firefox definetly still allow the popups through

lol i cant really "scroll" if it shows my whole computer screen on my tablet.
Well, if you'd said that to start with...
Once you've connected, go into the Settings (gear icon) then Resolution. Choose the size that works best with your eyesight. Now you can scroll around.
I've got mine set to Best Fit ( 1360x768 ).

PocketCloud works to pinch to zoom.
I use it, plus UltraVNC Server on my desktop. Of course, getting this all working correctly through a firewall, and past a router, accissible over the Internet with a persistent URL, is work, but if you know what you're doing...
