For some reason my touch sounds have disappeared from my phone. Running CM9b1. This is driving my nuts. Anyone ever come across this problem with their Gnex? The touch sound toggle is on but still won't work.

Download android assistant and go to the tools tab. Select volume and see of the system volume is all the way down. If so that's the issue. I had this happen on older builds. Try using the latest night lies. I think they have fixed this issue.

Hi everyone, I'm having an issue on my device that is pretty weird. Everytime I open the 'Recent apps' section when on a black background I see this horrible lines like a broke tv. Its only on the recent apps section. Im using AOKP M5 + Franco3. Has anyone else had this issue? Or its just me and a faulty screen.

Call me crazy but I see nothing. Problem's with your screen if it doesn't show up on a screenshot.
I don't see anything either. Can you specify more?
I have this issue too

I think I know what he's talking about
Lines like these?

If you have a problem with your screen, take a photo of it! All a screenshot will do is show us what it should look like.
Sorry. But I dont have a camera or another phone to take it they are lines like

Jeez, I didn't read properly. Sorry, ignore post!
Try a different from first. Or try viewing it in landscape also.

Heh, i have this issue too.
Let me try in landscape mode.
Landscape mode have this problem too.
Sounds like it could be the rom. Are you on the same one as the OP? Also I do not think the apps show in a screen shot for security reasons.

Running stock takju 4.0.4(IMM76I) and Franco Kernel Milestone 3
Can I turn it on with with adb or something?
There's an app you can buy I believe it's slide to unlock or something like that. It basically does what the power button does when you push it

I saw this while reading the forums yesterday, no idea if it actually works.
As for when the phone is on, search the Play Store for PGM Nexus. I think you need a kernel that supports the fuction & I believe the latest "nightlies" of Franco & Trinity both work.
Air kernal also works

As the title says, my choice to let the phone sleep while charging won't stick. Has anyone else ran into this issue?
My phone is stock rooted and I can't seem to find an app that is causing the setting to change.

I figured it out. It was the recent update to extended controls.

Hi s9ortner, did you manage to discover a workaround? I have the same issue, and agree its very annoying!

This has been bugging me for weeks.
With your info, I made a toggle for the "Stay Awake" option. Now it seems to stay off through a reboot.
Thanks!

I just bought a GSM Galaxy Nexus. Have been using it for a week on T-Mobile now. I love the phone, except for the speaker volume. It is extremely low. I have searched and found that this is a known issue, especially stock JB ROM. Many people recommended Volume+ app, but that does not work on notifications or ringtones in JB. I have tried multiple apps, but none have worked.
Can anyone recommend anything? Are there any apps that would at least extend the vibration of the phone so that I may be able to hear it vibrate?
Thanks
That's something I would love to know my self

well GoSMS can extend the vibrations for texts!
Volume+ from the play store. Great app.

Great app. But it does not solve the low notification volume issue.

I sometimes use the emoji keyboard that I downloaded off of the Play Store, but right now I 'froze' the app via Titanium Backup Pro because almost 3 times a day, I will get strange advertisements in my notification bar/drawer. And note that I only see this in this CyanogenMod ROM I'm running right now, when I'm running stock TouchWiz, these strange ads never appear. Is there any way to prevent these annoying ads?
Forgot to mention that I do have AdAway installed and working, but it doesn't work for the emoji keyboard.
I'm running CyanogenMod Version: 10.1-20130304-EXPERIMENTAL-d2tmo-M2

You can try using an air push blocker, or a different keyboard like go keyboard or kii which both have emoji inputs

This one, for example.
Also if running jb or higher hi can long press on the notification and select app info. That will take you to the a app info screen and select disable notifications.
