Hi. Is there a way of playing TuneIn Radio through a bluetooth headset, or do you need headphones anyway for the jack to act as an antenna?
thanks

Don't know about bluetooth headset as I don't own one but I don't see any reason why not.
As for needing headphones, no, not needed as tunein radio is an internet radio so does not need an antenna only a data connection.

I am using it through a BT headset .
(even though sometimes I have connectivity issues, maybe due the wifi issues)
I use a gear4 bluetooth speaker with no problems.
Thanks how do you set it up to use the Bluetooth? I cant see a connection link specifically from the Tunein App.
I use turtle beach px5 works great except I sometimes have to mess with device settings for it to connect
1. Pair headset with fone
2. Click device and select allow media

I'm using an Bt Midland in my helmet and i can hear music, navigator and also speacking and calling perfectly but i have not found the method to use the Radio trasmitter.
I've the adapter miniusb jack, and i've tried with some different software like Blue Music, Bta Router and a2dptoggle but nothing happens.
same trials in tc forum with even keeping the wired headset connected still no dice
on getting fm to the bt headset could be a hardware limitation
thank Rudegar.... i'm still searching fora any solution.... but is strange cause i cah hear the BT emitting the classical sound of "BIP" everytime i tap any things in FM Radio
I think you should give a try to BTAudio Toggle. This does not requires installation. Just copy to mobile open BT and run BTAudioToggle.exe.
thanks freco.... i've tried, but the radio dosen't transmitt.
as long as I know, you have to plug in the regular headset to be able to enable FM transmitter, because the headset is used as antenna. and then I would go for btIO, you would find it somewhere here for sure
...just my 2 cents
ies...headset are connected to mobile. i can hear sound from the speaker of headset and of mobile but it dosen't go in BT
...well, tried it at home and have to say that it doesn't work either. everything else is hearable on bluetooth exept radio...think that this is a FM transmitter-program problem. it seems that it's only able to play it trough speakers or wired headphones

yes, i think so.
i've asked here cause in other italian forums nobody has solved the problem.
Is there any solution can use HD build-in FM Radio with bluetooth headset? Thanks
This has been discussed several time before, and unfortunately the answer is no. Even if we were able to bypass the app checking for wired headphones, you wouldn't get any reception since the wire acts as the antenna.
I suppose we still need to plug in headphones to serve as an antenna, but anyway, is it possible to redirect sound from FM radio to bluetooth? I would like to use my BT headset when on a bike.
Thanks!
I purchased a bluetooth headset to use whilst on my bike and the FM radio doesn't work through it :-( as soon as you plug the headphones in it disconnects the bluetooth headset. I was a bit gutted as I like listening to the radio but considering the reception is a pile of crap I listen to last fm and my media files.
hope that helps

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone can come up with an app that would let us use the FM radio without headphones attached. Here is a similar tweak for Xperia Z2 in xda forums: http://www.xda-developers.com/android/enjoy-fm-radio-on-your-xperia-without-headphones-even-easier/
Thanks
It's not much use given the headset acts as an antenna.
I have that module on my Z2 and it works but you can't actually listen to the radio... unless you want to listen to constant static.

Hey everyone, basically since the first day that i got this phone, the bluetooth been a pain for me, when any device is connected (car multimedia, speaker, headphones etc) to the phone and i will play music via the device thats connected, the audio will cut for a second every few minutes, tried looking for a fix without any luck, really considering switching the phone because of that, any possible fix ?
There are a few BT settings in developer options for audio etc

Tried changing them, they won't save for whatever reason
Are you sure it's just Bluetooth? Have you tried wired headphones? What app are you using?

definitely only Bluetooth, i'm using wired headphones on a daily basis without any interference and i'm using Spotify and Youtube.
I am still trying to track down the problem I am having, but it definitely does it on wired headsets, too. It seems to get really bad for a while and then goes a while without doing it.
