I found this great looking case for only $12- $15.99 with screen protector.
The case has a plastic snap on and a rubber seal something similar to an OtterBox.
I order way before the phone came out, hope you check it out before they prices goes up..

Sorry bro didn't mean to offend you in any way. Was not insulting you or your taste. It was my personal opinion of the case. The back of the case looks very unpleasant and uncomfortable in pocket. I do really appreciate the fact you purchased a product, took pictures of it, and gave your opinion of it for the community. It really does help with accessories selction. I'm going to do the same when I buy a case for mine.

Whoa. That's a hard case to swallow. Although I do have a case on my GS2, I do so reluctantly. A big part of the purchase of any of my phones are the looks. This case looks a bit overbearing for my tastes although I'm sure gives great protection.

yeah.. Is a little big.. Im a CCTV Tech. always on the move, My nexus S 4G just crack with a more stylish case that this time i wanted a more protective option.
The point is that for the $12.00 I paid this copy or whatever brand this is is not a bad option.
Would love the flip stylish one. This is a beauty of phone but avoiding any falls is the least i would want to worry with this haha.

Ok, I just happened to notice they finally have the Slider case for the Vibrant in The SGP Store.
Yesterday they still weren't up yet.
Remember, this is for the Vibrant and not just another i9000 case.

EDIT 9/2/2010: Apparently The company has run into some production problems.
That is why the cases have been delayed.

no, it's not a silicone case.
It is a slider case.

Actually, T-Mobile does offer a similar case to the Slide cases mentioned, and only in the magenta color (so far, anyway).
Just for kicks, I tried it on my phone, but the plastic just seems cheap and it doesn't feel all that secure where the parts join. I would hope that the SGP ones are better quality than the no-name ones T-Mobile offers.

Are these glossy casses and do they provide grip? Also if they are glossy wouldn't they start to get scratched up when putting them down on hard surfaces?...anyone know?

Im going with the "storm trooper" look myself .
Anyone got one yet? Someone post a short review of fitment. Hoping that the case fits well and stays intact unlike some other ones with similar install style.
I hope this version doesn't have a cutout for the antenna.
The pics definitely have the antenna cutout. Hopefully these are just sample pics.

Hope you can do a little review once you get it.
Those Ultra Silke silicone cases look quite nice, especially if their claims of them not being sticky/tacky are true.
these need to come out like NOW!
This case is pretty nice!! Great protection and doesn't at too much bulk at all. The material feels amazing in your hand. Side note , it also fits in the holster of Verizon's shell holster combo !!

I love it....and I hate cases. One question before I order it. Is the power button cut out? Does work well unlocking screen or is it a little tough. Thanks for the heads up on a great looking case.

I got the exact same one but in red off Amazon for about $10. It's a great case, and I love it.
The power button seems easier to press IMO but it is a pain to remove the thing because sometimes the battery cover comes off when removing, but that just means that it's a tight fitting case and I highly recommend it.

I've had it for about 2 weeks now. No dust issues on my black/red case.
I really like this case as well, and for the $7 shipped from Amazon, it really can't be beat.
picked up one of these as well, black/black, fits well and little added bulk. This is the first phone case I've actually liked.
I bought the same case except clear smoked on the whole back and black on the sides. A lot like the awesome Griffin REVEAL case for the first incredible

Ahh that yellow one looks pretty awesome. I'm tired of having all-black cases and this OtterBox Defender needs to go, just makes the phone too bloated and have a hard time getting to the Q and P on the GB keyboard. This will defintely be my next case!

I bought that case in black/red and also a tpu black case with a wave pattern. I hated the TPU/plastic black/red that you are referencing didn't even put it on didn't like the feel of it.
The TPU black case has a wave pattern that makes it much better to grip and doesn't show smudges that much due to the pattern. The TPU wave case was noticeably slimmer. I still wish I had a slimmer case but the wave case is quite nice.

I got the grey/black from ATT. There was no way this phone was leaving the store naked, so I chose it (free due to a plethora of bull****).
Anyway, this case is actually pretty awesome. VERY slim, yet sturdy. It fits better than I imagined, and I had pretty high hopes. Also, the buttons retain their solid "click" when you press them with ease.
I highly recommend it. ATT has them for the manufacturer's price of $35. I will post pictures if anybody wants.
I looked, but didn't find a similar thread. Please let me know if there is already one!

i had one of these on a one x and my god i didnt think i was ever gona get it out so i went with the casemate that is like the otter comm all black it looks very nice with the white
I was worried about it being tough to get off too, but it's surprising. It's like the hard plastic is flexible to a certain extent, just enough to get the case off.
I do want that case you are talking about. My wife has one for her S2.

I grabbed the same case, along with a Case-mate Pop. The Pop is going back. Love the Speck. Wish they had other colors in the store though. I chose the Speck bc it's a quality case and it slides in and out of my pocket easily.

Best buy didn't have anything good when I looked. Amazon has the best selection, but most of the cases I want are pre order only.

I picked up the grey from the AT&T store as well. I like the contrast with the white phone and the black rubber around the edge, but I agree that the "grey" has some purple in it. Still, I really like the case and I'll only bother to change the color if this one wears out. These have been my favorite cases for my last two phones. They seem durable and offer great protection of all edges.

Man these things are expensive to ship... over $50 for just a case to ship all the way up here to the "great north" - canada. Anyone know if they sell these at any retail stores around here?

Looks too One X or death star to me. It totally ruins the elegant look the GS3 goes for.
If I and to get a bulky case, I would go for Capdase armor jacket. Although I am not sure if the Aluminum kills reception or not.
Nahh...i've droped mine a couple of times with and without a tpu case and not a single scratch mate....
I also saw some drop/durability tests and i've seen the S3 is strong!
Maybe the first units had durability issues...?
Anyway i would spend money if i were you...
But if you want to stay free of guilts not buing a decent case undoubtly get an otterbox!

Seems like good protection, but I like more the looks of the Otterbox Commuter for a "bulky case" (And I've heard is one of the betters in matters of protection). I'm supposed to get an Incipio Silicrylic any time this week, I decided to go for it because I thought a Commuter was overkill for my daily use and the Incipio seems to be stylish. I hope I don't regret that choice

Well for what i have seen it the thinnest of the bulky cases. That is why i've got so interested. Also it looks pretty bad ass.

Just got mine from US to UK, took less than a week to arrive
After 2 official samsung flip cases fell apart (1 in first 10 days) I saw this and liked the look of it.
It's obviously more bulky than before but not enough to bother me. It's fairly lightweight too. Having side protection as well as the cool looking back won me over.
It Cost me £28 including delivery. Having spent over £16 (£30rrp) before on the samsung cases I can tell you the quality is far superior.
You get a screen protector included too (after a lot of time and swearing trying to fit the bast**do with no dust trapped) looks pretty good.

My White UAG case just came in the mail today, so far i love it. Has a nice feel to it, not bulky at all and feels like a sturdy case. For $20 i wasnt gonna pass it up black/white combo looks nice on the white S3 :good:

I have one in red! It looks really nice and I love the look of the metal. The only issue I have is the silicone part isn't the most snug fit and sometimes an edge of the phone might come out of the case when I took it out of my pocket. I don't think the whole phone would come out or anything..I'm just picky.

If you're looking for protection, I probably wouldn't recommend it. There really isn't much of a lip over the screen and the top corners seem to slip off a little too easily. It's not like the whole case would accidentally fall off though since the metal part helps to keep it somewhat rigid.
If you're looking for style, then go for it. It's definitely a unique case.
Heads up, if you actually buy it from Mindplar.com it's $45 with shipping and comes with an assumingly cheap battery bank. A little bit cheaper.

This case does indeed look night, I never spend this much on a case but I might have to, maybe I will wait for a few other reviews.
These are pretty sharp looking. I have only been using a sleeve, but might have to consider this. I think Eddie Van Halen would approve of the red one.

Nice case !
I seen 1 million cover for htc one but i never seen this one before ! thanks , probably i'll purchase this , seems really good
Just got mine in the mail. Came with a free 1000 mAh power bank.
Didn't realize that the IR port was covered, no big deal though. I can use a nail to put a hole in there.
Kind of disappointed that the "metal" part is glued on, and it doesn't wrap around the lip like other hybrid cases.
The case itself is very slim. If you have a glass screen protector it wouldn't wrap around it. Looks really great in hand though.

So looking at the pictures previously posted, is the rubber very...rubbery? lol like the ports seem very loosely cut (charging port) and the edges seem like very rounded. I am used to the UAG case and think the cuts and lines are so sharp that this case (while looking pretty rad) has some variances in quality
am i right?
