How's the BT work? - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

I'm thinking about picking this up soon, but Bluetooth is essential for me.
How well does it work for you guys?

is there a way to make it work on galaxy nexus? i bought this game was hoping to really enjoy it on my phone but it's not working (at least for me)
works fine for me. At what point does it not work
Really??? Why won't it work for me??

I have issues with multitouch but supposedly people on 4.04 have said the update solves the problem. What issues are you having?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus
Are you guys using stock 4.0.2?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
I am on 4.0.3 AOKP now and also had it running on stock 4.0.1
I did run into multitouch issues (not always though)
Since the latest market update it should work, make sure it the app is updated to 1.3
works fine for me as well.
only problem i had was when i flashed a different kernel the game would start and the screen would just go blank but after a wipe was perfect
I take it back it works now...awesome!

Google Music in aus

Hey all.. since root/rom install I haven't been able to reinstall the Google music app. Market says its not available in Australia yet it was on my phone when I first purchased. Any ideas or links?

This worked for me when it didn't come with liquid smooth. Should be a link in (here) http://www.androidincanada.ca/news/google-play-music-4-1-513-download/

Sweet thanks! Worked a treat. I've been using liquid for a while now. How u finding it?

I thought the customization was great and it was snappy. But since my phone was like 7 days old I switched to unofficial CM9 I'll likely switch back soon though. I'm yet to settle for now.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA
Yeah true. Customization is great. I updated to v1.3 but its still a bit buggy. Back to 1.25 now. I haven't tried CM yet, from what I last saw its still missing a few basic functions.

Are we the only ones without TW JB?

So since the T-Mobile leak has been ported to both Verizon and Sprint, are we the last of the variants to not get a port? Is there a reason why it won't work on our devices or do we not have anyone making one?

+1, I would love to know the answer to this as I have been wondering myself..

It will work and I made one but it is currently to buggy to post a build. When a better leak comes out then we will have roms.

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
^ Nope, in fact you can even root without unlocking the bootloader and wiping your data

Are you the Guy over at Thunderbolt whose TB bit the dust?
Haha welcome, I think more GalNex owners had the Thunderbolt than any other phone, we just got hit so bad with waiting for ICS, none of us want that wait and uncertainty ever again.

Been playing with it all day, getting a feel for phone and battery. Ive git a 2350 battery in it i believe, and life seems pretty good. It did update to jb, and im amazed how fast phone is. If i had a good secure wifi tether, id almost not root, lol! Nah, i gotta see what this thing will do. Really liking so far though.

Should i update radios? Runnin liquid now, no 4g.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
Do yourself a favor and if you haven't yet already learn adb and fastboot command lines there is no need for a toolkit for this phone. And to answer your radio question unlike the thunderbolt any radio combination works on any ROM you can update or change radios to see if they help you out but it shouldn't matter if you're getting 4g or not. Plus these roms never include radios..well from what I have seen all the radios can be flashed separately through the bootloader or some people have made flashable zips containing them.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
1. Get Gnex
2. Root/Unlock
3. Flash new radios
4. Flash new bootloader
5. Flash new ROM - I would vouch for Codename Android with Faux's kernel
that's my recommendation plan
Brace yourself, flash addiction is comimg.

Upgrade to Rezound?

Thoughts? Much better phone?
Sent from my Incredible 2 using xda app-developers app
Probably not, idk how good the dev support is over in rezound land but I recently upgraded to a GS3 from my inc2 and seeing that the dev support for the inc is slowing down the s3 was a great switch. Are you contract upgrading or buying it used?

Have you looked into the DNA my brother got on and it's amazing
Sent from my HTC Incredible 2 using xda app-developers app
Buying it used been on the forums and heard battery life is crap so guess I won't be buying one
Sent from my Incredible 2 using xda app-developers app
My upgrade is in may & i'll likely be getting the sgs III
A good option for a used phone would probably be a galaxy nexus if you're into aosp, there cheap and would last you a good year or so.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda premium
Rezound is better than Galaxy Nexus. Better camera and processor
Sent from my Incredible 2 using xda app-developers app
I haven't heard too much good come out of the rezound. But I really haven't had hands on with it. I stuck with my DInc 2 till I got sick of the viper Rom I got stuck with. Went and bought a DNA love it.
