Just had update that allows custom app launch or function when ejecting spen and another for inserting.. I am running root box vanilla aokp cm romantic and set it to launch papyrus and kill it on reinsert... Was using two rom before this was possible
Sent from my GT-N7105 using Tapatalk 2
Update: after many reboots and ejects it works flawlessly. If only papyrus would have options to start in a new note and autosave when closing I would be 100% satisfied

Disclaimer: I am not responsible if anything happens to your phone by following these steps nothing should happen but if something occurs dont come crying to me
First what you do it get exposed framework and install it (look up how to get it)apps shown in first picture.
Second thing is find android ui shown in second picture.
Third thing to do is change the resolution shown in the third picture you can change it to 600×1024 or 800×1280 doesnt matter which and dpi doesnt matter but you can change it to your liking
Fourth thing is hit the save button on top right and reboot and if done right the multi window should have a pin shown in fourth picture.
Fith thing is enjoy and if you followed these steps correct you have floating windows like in the fifth picture

One thing is I found out that recents wont come up by holding the home button may differ on yours but the way I got around it is using gmd guesture control and made my recents come up with 2 finger swipe up from bottom I like it better but that is the onpy bug I have found so far
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
I got device incompatibility error in play store after changing system dpi
What did you change it to and your on a note 2 right and if you want I can post a picture of my setup that works perfect
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
I also said you didnt have to change dpi just the resolution
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2

Thanks for the awesome tip, but quick question...with this mod, are you able to minimize the floating windows, or is there no way to do that?
Sent from my awesome Note 2 using Tapatalk 2
You a Can Make it any size see

That's not exactly what I meant. I knew it could do that, but I mean like actually minimizing the floating app, like how you do on a regular desktop OS. I remember I saw it somewhere on the International Note II forum, but I didn't know if it was possible on the AT&T version.
Your probly thinking of pop up browser... you can minimize it
After I make the change and reboot my lock screen is enlarged. Any suggestions?
Sent from my AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 2
Change dpi to 260 that's what I did I posted the picture of it
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
This is pretty sweet. 4 apps running on 1 screen.
I did everything it says to do and for some reason nothing happens when i reboot and i try it
Anyone who needs help is more then welcome to PM me and get help

I wonder if the ROM I'm using is causing it not to work. I followed the instructions step by step and no go

I get this message what do you think that mean not sure if that's the reason it's not working:banghead:banghead:

Does anybody know if we can use root explorer to dive in and increase the vibration intensity? I did this on the GNEX, but I cant remember where I found it. I tried going into sys, class, timed output, vibrator, but then root explorer freezes and fc's

Stock adjustments arent high enough. Ill have to check out ktoonz roms. It has the app built in to the kernel? Or do I have to buy an app? AOSP Roms have them built in to advance settings. I like that...

True, but the haptic feedback vibrations are extremely weak (compared to TW intensity even at 100%)

Are you on a TouchWiz ROM or AOSP ROM? Not sure how on TouchWiz, but I know it can be changed in AOSP ROMS. I've failed to make it work harder/or weaker on TouchWiz ROMS.
This thread has info on how to do it on AOSP, but like I've said can't get it working on TouchWiz.
Trying to increase it on tw roms. Not sure if these settings are accesible with root explorer or if its sealed tight from samsung
Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Not really looking for haptic feedback increase as much as im looking for notification/ringtone vibration.
Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Gotta chime in on this too... coming from the galaxy s 4g (t959v), the vibration intensity is poor on the m919.
When the phone is in my pocket. I can barely feel it when a call comes in.

This. I've missed several calls and messages already and I've only had it a week. And I'm running cm10 that gives you the ability to increase the vibration intensity. It still is very low.
But its not about how much power the vibration motor gets. Its a physical limitation. The vibrator simply isn't strong enough. (That's what she said)
Sent from your phone. You should be careful where you leave that thing.
One of the things that I really liked about the note 3 coming from the s2 that the Samsung keyboard had a dedicated number row. I looked on the play store for an alternative to no avail. Today I found the new SwiftKey beta which has the option.

Changing that would require another 52 png files in the apk plus added code to eliminate the long press option.

Hate to see wasted space. Keep long press and replace numbers (in either first or second row) with Ctrl, tab, esc, [, ], % ^, ~, <, >
Would look ugly but be useful (for me)!
It's damn ugly now with the two rows of numbers... But I am so much happier with this keyboard.

I have to agree. They need to remove the extra numbers. This is a good first step. ?

NOTE 3
Was looking into modifying this keyboard. For some reason I can't recompile it, but I think I can modify that original row, removing the numbers for the long press of "QWERTY..." I've had some issues with newer apk's. I'm having an issue setting up the right environment using apktool 4.3.
That being said, I'm going to work on this tonight to see if I can at least get it to recompile.
For anyone interested, the files I think that need to be modified are res>xml>keyboard_layout_standard_qwerty.

definitely a step in the right direction (e.g., numeric keys) and i also like the option to reduce the footprint of the keyboard so it takes up less real estate (e.g., screen).

That was the first reason why I stopped using it back in the day. I will give it a try
NOTE 3
The emoji support on it is amazing, you can long press enter for the entire list, which is huge, and emojis will also pop up in the predictive text guesses at the top. The keyboard can also be detached from the bottom of the screen, resized, and it has full, thumbs only, and a compact layouts. This is the best keyboard out there imo.

Yea everyone has had a hard time so far with modding the new beta. Even when we fix the xml errors in styles, parsing errors follow.

The only annoying thing I've noticed is, with number row enabled, autocorrect doesn't take into account accidental number presses.
E.g. If I type n7mbers or sw8ftk3y6
Have u guys noticed lately that it makes ridiculous suggestions for words you have/would never use(d)? I have trending phrases turned off, and scan all accounts. Spend lots of time removing words. I hope they include an editable dictionary at some point.
Does anyone know how to make the emojis back to color like the Samsung keyboard please?
