what video player are you guys using - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

Hello,
The reason I am asking this , is that I watch videos while I using the threadmill in the gym. I use a bluetooth headphone. What I am looking for is a video player that has the ability to do 5 channel or surround effects. The stock video player only allows 5 channel thru plug in haedphones not BT headphones.
Do you guys know of a video player app with 5 ch or surround effect thru BT headphones?
thanks in advance

The stock player works fine.. Google music is good

Try MX player https://play.google.com/store/search?q=mx+player&c=apps :good:

The MX player is what I am using presently. I am looking for a video player with sound processing functions. Checking app brain but can't find any.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.abitno.vplayer.t
It looks like it's still on sale too. It's not done me wrong yet.

Btw I'm not sure you can do 5 channels over BT.

default

I use power amp. It plays any format I throw at it, and I love the EQ.

Help I Need A true music player!

Hello!
I wonder if anyone has been able to find a music player really worth it, I said why I tried several like the power amp, ubermusic, and the new app ics, but all have the same problem.
Try playing with the volume button, go up and down the volume quickly and see as there is a pause in the song or degradation (noticeable only with headphones), and this does not happen with the player as standard. Now tell me then stick with the standard player! But it always bugs me when I'm presented some time playing the same artist when I press the back button instead of sending me to the library just sends me to the main desktop, this happened to me many versions with different roms bone is samsung a direct bug ..
samsung player also has a millisecond pause after each song which is annoying me!
Someone tell me if they feel the same? that all players have this defect by changing the volume?
Greetings!
Power amp beta 2 ?
Its really good

I just tested and this is no longer the problem by increase or decrease the volume ... but now every time I open the app has a volume change for a second and it's annoying me ...
any idea?
I have been using doubletwist and it is pretty good
at the end I did not find any that do not have this error when the volume up and down maybe for some it is annoying as it is almost imperceptible but for me it's really annoying ...
try, PowerAMP, ubermusic, doubleTwist, pro player, and no bug fixes that the only thing is you do not have the samsung home player ...
that samsung does not fix the bug in your player at home, when you're playing a long time to one artist and you want to switch to the press only sends you back to the main menu, this is a general problem right?
Neutron player.
Weird UI, but excellent sound quality.

does power amp allow u to import your itunes library or playlist?
PowerAmp 2 beta is unbeatable. It's the best player I've used in any device.

and i could not agree more then you. i had this player for the longest and its too good. it reads all my album art i customized and works atleast not like other crappy players and no lag and great ui looking. this is a keeper until someone comes out with something that'll have all this and plus more. you can modify alot of things tho in poweramp.. anyone that is not happy with it go blah on something else which is worthless no offence to anyone.
Try ttpod, really nice sound quality
Another thing that pisses me off about the stock music player is the fact that there's no music widget. Come on Samsung what were you thinking. That's a core Android feature!
What about winamp? Is no good?
PowerAMP
PowerAmp is the best.
I bought it...
I am testing the PowerAMP 2.0 and is really good!
Try music player pro. I tried a lot and that one is the best to me

Jelly bean STOCK video player

Is there any STOCK video player on Gnex 4.1?
Or if there is no stock video player, which one is the best one. I need it only for watching video clips and stuff downloaded fr web, but no movies...
Thanks folx
I thought stock video play was part of stock galaxy apk. I use vplayer on my own devices.
What stock galaxy app? Which one?
Pretty sure he meant gallery. I find going through the native player via gallery I can't play any movies I load on my device.
I personally use mx player, love the swipe controls.
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda premium
There is a built in video player although the codecs it supports isn't the best. If you need support for many codecs I would suggest either MX player, rock player or dice player.

vlc or mxplayer. i use vlc altough is in beta it works great!

Yeah the gallery "stock" player is very basic, i think it's more designed for playing the videos, you record with your phone cam, nut much more. Alternatives are as mentioned vlc or rock player.
Btw does anyone know a player with support for more than one audio track?

MX Player, not only that, it also let you choose between hardware or software decoding, which is needed for AC3.

i used mxplayer but switched to diceplayer as it lets you play in pop-out video while checking e-mail etc
BSplayer can play video in "external mode", so everywhere, while you are surfing, reading email etc... and you can resize, pause or clse the video.
MXplayer doesnt provide this feature.

I use BS Player because it read everything well and has a LAN Mode. But the UI is horrible.
My combo: BSplayer (soft decode) for WMV + DICE Player for everything else

Best movie player for Nexus 7?

What's the best movie player for playing 720p files? I've heard the stock player doesn't play all file formats. What do you use?

I second the use of MX Player - been running it on both my phone and the Nexus 7 and it's great. I like that it was gesture controls as well as on-screen buttons.
The app called 'MX player' is the best player I found. It plays just about any type of video format you there.

I used MX player since I purchased the N7 and i found it almost perfect. For everything else, you can try the nightlies of XMBC. Probably once it will be polished will be a good alternative.

I did not know about this one, thanks for the tip, I'll give it a try!
So far I've been using MXplayer, however, and ideally, I wish I could solely use VLC as I'd prefer to rely on open source software.

Diceplayer works well for me using hardware decoding.
MXplayer stutters for me using hardware decoding. Software decoding works fine on MXplayer, but uses more battery than h/w decoding.
Nothing I have found gas played 1080p video with DTS audio add well add bsplayer. This is very important to me add I rather not have top convert or download different versions for my mobile device

No one here uses "Super Video, Floating and Popup"? This and Mobo player have been ole faithfuls for me. For one Super Video has gestures, (turn volume up and down while watching movie), Also after one video ends, it automatically plays another. (Works very well when watching saved music videos, and don't want to have to click on another video after the last one ended.) It also has minimizes to a small floating video so you can see your home screen in the background while you continue to watch movies/videos.
If MXplayer does this also, i might need to give it a try.
The stock gallery app is easily the best for playing videos it supports.
I don't think other players support the LPcore and stuff, and they use waaay too much processing power. I have tried 3rd party ones but they all use more than one core at nearly full freq most of the time. This is why I'm using stock
Feel free to prove me wrong though

But I use winamp.
one thing I noticed though is that when I tried to upgrade to kitkat (aosp), I could use it (was gone from the store - probably not compatible to kitkat).
GoneMAD music player if you are looking for extremely customizable music organization and UI. Not as many of Neutron's bells and whistles, but it does have Dashclock Widget integration.
for now i think poweramp is the best..

Google music just came to canada, I love it! Otherwise I used Songza for the longest time.
Another +1 for Google Music. I subscribe to Google Play Music All Access. Anything that isn't in the library, I'll upload from my computer. I keep all my playlists on my device.
I switched from Spotify when it Google Play Music All Access first came out. Unlike Spotify, which limits you to 3,333 tracks stored offline, you can store as much music as you can fit on your device. If I store all my playlists on my device I've got something like 50GB of music.
Google Music.
