i just noticed that in one of my ROM that i used (build on baseband 48) when i search for networks it can only detect the 2g networks and not 3g like it used to find.
1. what is the latest baseband?
2. will the latest will support 3g ?
3. can i update only the baseband without fully erase my phone ROM?

I have a problem with my HTC G2 mobile. I can't get internet via gprs. I checked with the service provider and all the settings are correct.
My mobile software specifications are
Android Version: 2.3.4
Baseband version: 12.62.60.27U_26.13.04.19_M
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.10-g96de068 ([email protected]#1)
Build number: 2.16.531.5CL159515 release-keys
I connected to Wi-Fi and its working absolutely fine. Anyone has the same problem? Please help me!
Right off the bat I don't have any great ideas on how to fix this (except for missing apn settings), but I believe some additional info would help.
Do you have root and s-off?
If you are rooted, which rom are you currently running?
Is the issue the same with other roms?
Are you getting no mobile data connection at all or is it only gprs that you're not getting? (meaning edge, 3g, hdspa work?)
Hello my fellow XDA'ers
I was going trough my phone and running some benchmarks and i found that AnTuTu said on the tab: Device info..... Network : GSM/WCDMA.
After that i went to the Mobile networks it said the same (screenshot below)
Just to give you some backround info i rooted it and flashed custom recovery and rom but i flashed everything back using Odin.
I never used 4G LTE because it is not available for me here in The Netherlands.
Using T-Mobile for now (going to KPN soon but i want to keep my number so i am still on T-Mobile)
Stock ROM (build JRO03C.N7100XXALJ3)
Baseband: N7100XXALJ2
Nvm i found out than KPN screwed me.....i wanted to be sure that my phone had 4G so it be future proof. I asked the guy if it had 4G LTE and his answer was yes. So guys what i found out (here on xda and google) that the N7100 DOES NOT HAVE LTE! but the N7105 HAS.

I want to connect 3GPP LTE modem Huawei E392 via USB host of the SGN2 N7100. The app for the connection - PPP Widget writes that no driver found. Where can I find the driver for this modem on this device?

Did you find the driver? I want to use e392 + N7100 + desktop dock!
heloo there. my issue is not at all related to root or custom roms. its just that i am not able to get any network coverage at many places including my home. but network is good out in the open. also i tried my sim in other cellphones as well. network's great. i had the same issues before rooting the phone. so is there any solution to this???
Switch to gsm from settings>wireless>mobile networks
India has better gsm receptors

i am on gsm network itself. i have no prolems in open spaces. just that i have poor or no network indoors. and when i use the same sim in my micromax a52, the network is very good indoors too....
Whats your Radio version ?
Go to settings>about phone>see under Baseband Version.

So,all you need is to flash a newer radio.
you can find it here.
Download Radio_13.55.55.24H_3.35.20.10 version.
You should only use cwm 2.x version to flash this.

Hi Guys,
I've done downgrade from Marshmallow custom rom because it did not recognize SIM card.
Before I upgrade it works for all networks. I did not keep anywhere baseband version and firmware version which was pre-installed when I bought it.
I have now installed 5.0.2 version with baseband: T805XXU1BOD3 which I downloaded from sammobile.org.
All SIM cards cannot register with network.
I can search for network it shows but cannot register.
Can you guys tell me what is the baseband version (originally) for UK or is any chance I could reset to factory before upgrade to Marshmallow ?

Using a Vodafone Sim, On the latest Lineage OS build. Have the latest Non-Hlos Modem flashed on my device. Any help appreciated.
Same Problem .Very rarely it comes though.(Using JIO sim). Installed the VOLTE Modem patch and tried , still not solved.
