Just got a T-mobile Body Glove - 14 PICS!!!

And it is amazing! adds the perfect weight, doesn't seem to attract lint and it makes this phone look damn good! It has a detachable clip which i found can also be used as a kickstand i guess lol. Its 2 pieces consisting of a chrome cover and a textured back. I bought it for $30 from my local t-mobile store which was pretty steep in my opinion but i love it!

No this one is a 2pc case with a chrome piece on the front and a soft textured (rubber?) Back with a detachable clip

How much was it?

did these just come to the stores? last week all they had were the gel skins. how much was it and that would be awesome if you could post pics

I agree. After looking at the pics, it's even more convincing that it's a similar one that I had for the G1 which I didn't like since it adds too much bulk than I wanted.
But thumbs up to the OP if he likes it, hopefully the corners don't wear out fast on you after putting in and pulling out of your pockets a lot.

this is the same case that bodyglove is selling on their website. I have been planning on buying one I am glad to see some pics. The kickstand is what is gonna do it for me!

Hideous, I hate cases. I never drop my phones, and take really good care of them.

I never have accidents in my car or fall and break my arm but I have auto and health insuance just in case.
When you do eventually drop your phone (and you will)... Post pics.

Nice, I had a body glove for my G1. Really liked it. Just came from my T-Moblie store but all they had were the gel cases. Guess I'll have to wait.

I have one of these for my G1 and it is really nice for protecting the phone. After over a year the phone is still mint but the case itself started to peel about a month ago and it's getting bad now. It still works great though and the plastic clip is super heavy duty. I have dropped my G! many times in this thing and there is not a scratch on it. It is kind of bulky though but great protection.

You're legally required to have car and health insurance...and a case isn't comparable to car/health insurance. a case won't help when your screen cracks, or when your phone is stolen.

**pics included** Black Cruzer Case on Amazon fits GSM perfect

I got the black glossy Cruzer case from Amazon and it fits snug and tight...better than my Incipio case I purchased from the Verizon store. The case is nice and durable. The power button and 3 prongs are open and the volume keys are closed with a nice rough texture. The volume keys are very easy to use since they are sealed. I recommend this case to GSM Galaxy Nexus owners and the price is not bad at all.
I gave it a 5 star review on Amazon.

How is the fit and finish, for lack of a better term, of the case? How tightly does it fit around the face and how are the areas around the mold seam?
I'm currently using this Qubits case and while it is quite good, it is not perfect.

The fit and finish is great. It is not loose around the face or around the seams. Im telling you, this fits nice and tight all around the phone.

I got black. I didn't care too much about the color though. I only use the case when I am in route from one location to another. When I'm at home or at the office I take the case off.

Best bumper case for S3?

Hey guys, I'm looking for a good bumper case. I did a search but havent read much on the forums here. A quick ebay search brings up many options, and I was wondering if anyone has a particular one they like. I've looked at the draco bumper case, but I'm not spending 70$ for a case.
I would prefer a pretty solid feeling bumper that hopefully has a little better grip than the current phone.

I have aluminium bumpers, but I don't think they do anything for "grip". A silicone / TPU type bumper might be able to do that.
You get what you pay for. I got a $13 aluminium bumper case from eBay. I'm happy with it, but it's not perfect with concerns to quality control - and I really doubt any at that price-range are.
However I think $70 on a case is reasonable to spend if you can afford it. I mean, that's like 1/10th of the phone's original price - pretty reasonable to me.

How's the screen protection with that one?
If it was easy you'd of hired the guy at Home Depot to to it.

It as a lip of 2-3 mm on the edge, not much but it holds on the phone very firmly. I dropped my phone a few times now on stone (outside) and wood (inside.) But it was just fine. Altough it always depends on luck.
On a side note, i have installed the spigen screen protector and after 2 months it still doesnt have a scratch.

Spigen bumper I have is HORRIBLE. I love SGP cases...I've owned at least 1 for each of my last 3 phones. However....this case is terrible. Feels cheap. Cannot push in power button. I have to apply about 15 lbs of pressure for screen to come on.

Protection wise, are aluminum bumpers just for looks or do they actually protect the phone at all? It seems like hits would just shoot right through instead of being absorbed like a rubber bumper.

There wouldn't be any shock / impact absorption. Looks only with a drop in reception. Foam is too thin. The phone would most likely touch the aluminum when dropped. Unless it had the sturdier stoppers.
For the authentic Spigen bumper is it a one piece?

Maybe mine is faulty... but I had no movement on power button on bumper. It honestly takes me pushing pretty hard to turn my screen on and off. I've tried to fix numerous times without luck. Glad you guys are having better luck. But in my experience with this case I would not feel comfortable recommending it to someone

Most reviews for the metal bumpers saying it blocks signal so I was looking in to getting a spigen, but it looks like it doesn't really stick out the front to protect the screen, any other suggestions?

I "made" one for the extended battery (and case) that I have - from a 3EUR rubber case (normal size) which could not fit the extended case in the original form, but after some cutting around I was left with a decent bumper - not perfect (and the "finish" is poor since this was a first-time experiment) - but usable

What's interesting is that I have the exact opposite complaint about my spigen bumper. I bought it the same time that I bought a leather holster and the button is way to easy to press. When I put it in the holster it barely touches the power button but it's so easy to push that the holster makes it turn off.

This case is sick. Best case I've seen for the M7. I've been caseless because the phone just looks better without one but I just ordered the black Trinity. Thanks for the linky my brotha.

I have one in red! It looks really nice and I love the look of the metal. The only issue I have is the silicone part isn't the most snug fit and sometimes an edge of the phone might come out of the case when I took it out of my pocket. I don't think the whole phone would come out or anything..I'm just picky.

If you're looking for protection, I probably wouldn't recommend it. There really isn't much of a lip over the screen and the top corners seem to slip off a little too easily. It's not like the whole case would accidentally fall off though since the metal part helps to keep it somewhat rigid.
If you're looking for style, then go for it. It's definitely a unique case.

Heads up, if you actually buy it from Mindplar.com it's $45 with shipping and comes with an assumingly cheap battery bank. A little bit cheaper.

This case does indeed look night, I never spend this much on a case but I might have to, maybe I will wait for a few other reviews.

These are pretty sharp looking. I have only been using a sleeve, but might have to consider this. I think Eddie Van Halen would approve of the red one.

Didn't realize that the IR port was covered, no big deal though. I can use a nail to put a hole in there.
Kind of disappointed that the "metal" part is glued on, and it doesn't wrap around the lip like other hybrid cases.
The case itself is very slim. If you have a glass screen protector it wouldn't wrap around it. Looks really great in hand though.

So looking at the pictures previously posted, is the rubber very...rubbery? lol like the ports seem very loosely cut (charging port) and the edges seem like very rounded. I am used to the UAG case and think the cuts and lines are so sharp that this case (while looking pretty rad) has some variances in quality

they look nice, but those colors are horrendous, except for the blue and white one. would love to know why they are priced that way when it seems they are made out of the same material as any other dual layered case.

Speck always over charges for their cases. They cater to the rich stupid iPhone people. And I agree the case colors they choose suck. I wanted a plain black one.

I do like the white and blue one but not for 35 bucks

Yea thats what i was thinkin. Got the blue and white cause thats the best looking one

This case is great for side and corner impacts, but the small lip hinders its face flat resistance.
My friend has this case on his sgs3, and I saw his phone drop onto our tile office floor and crack the screen, while in the case!
The floor did have a slightly raised edge, due to it being tile, but nothing a good case shouldn't have protected against.

^ sorry if my post seemed discouraging. I can only speak for the experiences I've seen with this case in an s3, which is 2 years old.
If the lip is a decent height, things should be fine if it falls facewards. Back and sides should be fine because of the thick plastic/rubber the case is made from. Let us k know how it fists!
