Does this mean my display has used 84% of my battery. Its been off the whole night.

No, your battery is still at 97% so out of the 3% consumed, 84% of that 3% was used by the screen. Those percentages represent which apps have used the amount of battery used since off charger. Savvy?

3697mv is shown at 15% on Battery Calibrator. I already let it drain and then let it charge for 8 hours. Now I'm draining my extended from 100% for the first time.

Not really sure what is going on with my battery life. after 5 hours I am down to 50%. Is this normal? I am using the new beginning ROM by Tuesday.

5 hour display time!? sick battery life
Lol um yea I usually last about 13 hours total outer charge with moderate/heavy use and using juice defender to disable data while screens not in use..

No about 2 hour display time.

I thought juice defender drained the battery?
Sent from my SGH-T989 using XDA App
Well you thought wrong lol it gives an extra couple hours with use and it'll last about 4 days if I barely use out
Sent from my SGH-T989 using XDA App
so you get 2 hours display time at 50%...
so you get about 4 hours display time total?
Well all i can say is...
WELCOME~! you have average battery life for the t989! other devices barely break 3 hours! congrats!
2 hours of display time (also depending on how bright you have had it) with 50% left is pretty good.
I'd have to disagree that 2 hours is good, I'd call it subprime. Do some searching on XDA. There are plenty of wonderful tutorials and guides to small things you can do to help it out quite a bit.
I do this kind of thing to my battery at least once a week.
Is this a bad thing for my battery??? Or will my battery be just fine???
You sick bastard

What???
You actually made me laugh with expressing how you feel. Lol
But seriously is this not healthy or will my battery be just fine.
You should never bring the battery never that low often. Also, fully charging is better than going from 3% to 40% to 15% to 60% to 3% again to 80%.
Extend battery life by keeping the charge above 30%.

What can cause my screen to use 80+% of my battery I'm running aokp milestone 6 w/ nyan kernel on my epic 4g
Can anyone please help

In 32 minutes, your screen has been on 30 minutes of that time, hence the high percentage... Nothing looks odd about that. If you think it is killing your battery, you should probably look elsewhere like not going to deep sleep, or constant syncing. Need to see better battery stats or cpu spy... If that is the concern.

Well, from your pics, it seems that your screen was on for 30 of the 32 minutes that your phone was on battery. Takes a lot of power to light up a display. Most folks can get by with a days worth of battery with 3-5 hours of screen on time. Some do better, some do worse.

I just don't think you realise how much of a battery eater our screens are... that is perfectly normal and the way it should be....

It just seems strange to me but if you guys say its normal then it probably is

This is 11 minutes of screen on with crappie reception.
I unplugged my note 2 for 4 hours ago. Not used it. Only screen off. And battery dropped down to 89%. In 4 hours. Is that normal?
