Alerts from CMAS cover only critical emergency alerts. Consumers will receive only three types of alerts:
1. Alerts issued by the President
2. Alerts involving imminent threats to safety or life
3. Amber Alerts
Participating carriers may allow subscribers to block all but Presidential alerts.:good:

Hey guys,
I've been receiving 2 texts every 5 minutes on my phone since earlier today. Each text says the same garbled message and arrives exactly 5 minutes after the previous pair. I now have over 60 identical text messages.
I called Sprint and says since the originating # is unknown or blocked, there's nothing they can do. Has anyone had a similar experience in the past? Any good advice for me besides changing my phone number?
Thanks 3:
Easiest way is to.......
Use a blacklist Apk, there are several
switch to an MIUI ROM that has a built in blacklist
Garbled how? I would try texting Stop as that usually works for the spam ads.
Hope it helps

This is the message:
O m˜yèA fýù WÃËv ÙÐtѧš
<²áAÓNÄ 4j‚„Ô bT\‚ múr ͳ~üˆ0òˇšä ôeÇ* ÍøðìA·.M8W [:½0
-
When I view the details of the message, it says the phone number texting me is:
""
Therefore, there's no way to block this using an app since there's no # associated with the texts
Me and my son are getting same messages in ohio

Is it possible for a way to hide the numbers you text from the Tmobile.com website?
Sent from my SGH-T999 using Tapatalk 2
Hide from who?
You can collapse the section I think, and change permissions for other people on the plan if you're the account holder.
Not sure about that. On a side note. If its just certain texts you don't want someone seeing I would suggest using Google Voice to text with the mistress..... I mean who ever it is.

The op sounds like a naughty girl hiding her dirty text from her daddy. Haha jk. I highly doubt it. It's a log, it's there for a reason.

This official Google phone app, I'm not sure what device it's for, replaces our gimped v3 phone app and gives Pixel features including spam calling.
install, disable the OEM phone app, then make sure this is default in settings.
Spam calls do they block them or just send them to voicemail?

Anybody here got RCS on their native messaging app? I saw some S10 owners already have RCS on their native messaging app.
Thank you.
I don't see anything in that app that would allow a settings chnage to enable. I don't have it set as my default, however. I use Google messages. That being said, no one I know has turned on RCS on their phones so I don't see the features. Ever.

i have it on my international device
it can be activated via an edit to the relevant Customer.xml if it it not a standard feature on your device.

I use Google messages as well. Almost everyone I text with that uses Android has rcs. Which includes my extended family and friends. Mostly because I force them, lol. So nice when sending pictures and videos. And when I have to send an important text and I get to see if its been read.

For me it's about 50/59 Android to iPhone friends. I only have two friends who refused to use Google messages cause of preferences. Whatever I guess, lol. It's more of a luxury thing than anything else for me. Can't help it if others don't wanna make their lives easier, lol.

Can you please show us how to do it?
I have international exynos and dont have the option
The stock Samsung Messaging app relies on the carriers to implement RCS. If your carrier hasn't implemented RCS on its network then Samsung Messages RCS features won't activate. Google Messages does have RCS implemented separate from the carriers. The major US carriers have banded together to roll out RCS in the US. That is expected to be completed by the end of 2020.

Its in the Cscfeatures.xml, you'll need root.
I have a N9750/DS on T-mobile and have mine edited as:
<CscFeature_IMS_ConfigRcsFeatures>RCS_TMB_PHASE2</CscFeature_IMS_ConfigRcsFeatures>
<CscFeature_IMS_EnableRCSe>TRUE</CscFeature_IMS_EnableRCSe>
Once you find the line it'll probably have >FALSE</ ...change to true, save, reboot and test

Samsung still relies on the carriers for RCS. It is working with Google though to remedy this.
