I preordered from Radio Shack on June 6th. I was told by several associates as well as the store manager that the phone would be in on June 21st. I even called on the 20th to confirm and was told everything was fine and the phone shipped on the 19th. Well the 21st has come and gone and after several emails, phone calls I still have no answers regarding when phones will be in. Best Buy has already started giving their customers their preordered phones. Does anyone have any relevant information regarding when I can expect shipments to get in from Radio Shack?

I have preordered with them before with no problem. The things is if they knew it was going to be delayed they should have contacted people to let them know. It is also starting to annoy me that Best Buy is fulfilling their preorders as we speak. There is a shortage on this product where would you get it....I went to best buy today in my area and they had none. The Sprint Corporate store didn't have them either. That said be patient man do you think they are holding them to keep them from you.....stay informed!
I ordered mine from Radio Shack and they have no clue when it will come in. I ordered one from Best Buy for my wife in white since Radio Shack did not show it for pre order in their system. Called BB again today for the wife and they told me they only received 2 Sprint Galaxy S3 today, and they had already called those customers, but did not receive any for AT&T.
Upset for her to because they assured me they were told the Sprint ones would be in on Friday and Saturday. Will check again tomorrow, at least they seem to be getting info, all Radio Shack would tell me is they don't know and hopefully it will not be longer than a week.
I should have ordered from Sprint online, then I would have gotten them both by now.

I also preordered from Radio Shack. When I preordered I was told the devices would be in on the 21st and asked when I would be in that day (I said "when the store opened"). I went in when the store opened on the 21st and the employee read me an email that she received that morning saying there would be a delay of at least one week and possibly two. What bothers me is that I got this info when I went to get my phone. What also bothers me is that best buy is fulfilling preorders already which makes me think that Best Buy is paying to have the phones quickly shipped to their stores where Radio Shack is not or Best buy is getting some sort of special treatment.
Honestly, if I had known this was going to occur I would have skipped Radio Shack. The lack of communication and, not to mention, product is pretty unprofessional and I will be trying to get a hold of someone who matters within Radio Shack to let them know that this has likely lost them some customers.
I emailed Radio Shack's corporate offices as well as left posts on their Twitter and Facebook accounts trying to get answers. This was done this morning and I have yet to receive a response from any of them.
My wifes white phone came in to Best Buy today. The phone is nothing short of amazing. Radio Shack responded to me on twitter after I bombarded them and Samsung. All they would say is they are working with Sprint, and their its a temporary shortage. Well...duh
I think they are recycling the same message through all social forums. I just wish I could get a direct answer to when I can expect my phone.

I agree. They should be more forthcoming with their answers. This stops people from complaining as much. As of this moment, I will never order anything from Radio Shack again. The experience has been awful.
I know they are not responsible for the shortage, but, the total lack of communication on their part is what has turned me against them. I have had to hunt them down to get the basic of answers.
I went to my local Sams's Club today, and he said their Sprint rep was in the store yesterday and told them they should have some available for them between Monday and Wednesday. I gave the guy my contact information to call me if they come in, if so, I'll buy mine from them. Sometimes Sams is $25 to $50 cheaper than everyone else.
That's awesome I hope you get the phone soon. I just wish I could get any kind of answer on when I can expect to get my phone. I will never deal with Radio Shack again as well and I hope I hear something soon so I know whether or not to make other arrangements on getting the phone elsewhere.

Thanks, I hope you get yours soon also. For some reason, I have the strangest feeling that it will be in on Monday or Wednesday at the latest. I don't know why, I just do.
Until then, I'm having fun playing with my wifes S3. I kind of regret not ordering the white version now. I thought I would prefer the blue one, and it's possible I might, but from looking at all the amazing cases out for the S3, they all look better on the white version.
I hope it's Monday or Wednesday but I honestly have lost faith in getting it that soon. A few of the Radio Shack stores have said they have heard June 28th and July 7th at the latest. If that's the case I'm just going to try and purchase it somewhere else and just use the $50 gift card on something else. At this point we can only cross our fingers and hope for the best.
I'll be calling radio shack on my lunch break to see if any came in.
I'm hoping for a voice mail saying it's there though.

I called mine and the girl who answered the phone said they have a shipment in the back and they will be going through it soon and will call and let me know. I have no faith that it's there. LOL
I called Radio Shack again. They told me their Fed Ex delivery comes in at 2, to cal back around 3, they should have everything checked on by then.

EDIT I went in today to pick it up. The salesman went and grabbed it for me. He was in the process of ringing me up for it when the manager noticed what he was doing and stopped him. The manager apologized to me and said they received numerous calls yesterday about it and decided to check in to it and found that they have to hold off on selling it for now.
So basically if I hadn't said anything here yesterday & didn't post my store's info I could have had a GN today.

I really think they need to tell all the Reps the same thing, because it does not help the rumors if they are telling us all different days. I guess all we can do is wait ill tomorrow and see if they end up releasing it. Keep your fingers crossed!

So I am thinking of this: cancel my pre-order, and walk into BestBuy on Nov 9, and whoever has the Note II on the shelf will win the bid and become my next carrier.
Call them back... be extremely polite. If you get a script reader, just hangup and call back.
Eventually, you'll get a non-script person... Explain how this presents a hardship to you. Explain that you actually had to take a day off of work due to unreliable UPS/FedEx deliveries (or people stealing deliveries.. or whatever.) Chat with the customer service rep. Make them feel important.
Perhaps AT&T can give you a credit of $100 to help offset the time you are losing from work due to their error? (I'm not going to tell you how often this has worked for me.. )
Then, watch as your phone is delivered on the 9th anyway.
Oh, and they are all showing as "back-ordered" in their system until the moment they switch to "shipped." That tends to happen when you PRE-order a phone.

On the web pages for my order, it says "Processing", "Pending Shipment", and "Preorder Processing". It doesn't say "back-ordered". But maybe that's the term the customer support staff use.

I got the same info x2h but, i was also told 5000+ units have already arrived.
To clarify a bit, the order status for my Note 2 on the web page is "Preorder Processing". However when I called AT&T, the person said it's back ordered, meaning I will not get it on the November 9 date as previously announced.
So when will I get it? I asked.
"We will let you know".

Don't give up hope. Keep following up on your order status via website. ATT customer service reps tend to make up things sometimes. Source - I'm an ex-att cust. service rep.
As horrible as it sounds, your forum members are right in telling you to rep shop (keep calling back to get the rep you want). ATT doesn't like this as it hogs up their queue, but sometimes it needs to be done to get the job done right.
Well heres the update. tried calling them two more times and I can't even get to a real person, after waiting forever. I am canceling it. Guess I will stick to my WM HD2 a little longer.

I ordered through premiere with a company discount if that makes any difference.

The next person stated they ran out and it was a first come first serve basis. That was a lie. If you look at their own forum
on att's website, you will see people who ordered way after and their phone is shipping.
Now they state they will start shipping 11/09, and that just means they will start shipping more orders which doesn't guarantee mine.
They violated their own policy of "first come, first serve" as stated on their own site when you preorder.
AT&T customer service departments do not have integration at all. Their logistics execution is horrible.

I preordered 10/25 thru premiere with a company discount, and I am told mine is definitely backordered. Isn't that great.
Same for me, company discount, preordered on 10/25, and now it's backordered, so I canceled it.

Are you planning on purchasing in store on launch day? I would've asked for credit towards my future bills for the inconvenience.
I ordered early Nov and yesterday I was told the same thing about being backordered . I called and chatted about 10 times. The reps are completely clueless (I'm guessing its not their fault they just dont get good info). Well around 10pm my order went from processing to shipped and I will receive phone today (according to fedex tracking - i paid the $15 for overnight). I am happy now, but I was pissed all day yesterday. I need to get a life.
well here's the latest update again. I canceled my preorder online last night. this morning an email comes in that my cancel was "unsuccessful". and then another emails that says my phone has been shipped, with FedEx tracking number. it has just left the Texas wharehouse. Expected delivery Nov 9 by 4:40 pm.
I am going to return it and tell them to put it on backorder.
OK one last update. Took the advice of others and called AT&T one last time. And the result is surprising:

And it's shipping today arriving tomorrow.
Stock is still VERY good.. even though the website lies and doesn't reflect that? it even says estimated shipping 5/7... orders are VERY much so still in stock..
If you want to know for sure, just make your order over the phone like i did.

This is true... and i've seen that.. i'm talking about when you get to the LAST STEP in the Online order process? it actually says "Back ordered" "estimated **** date, blah blah blah" and right now for the Black models it's past 5/7 i think.

T-Mobile has a bad habit of placing orders for sh!t they don't have. I have had it happen several times where they place an order and I check online:backordered :SMH:
What about customer satisfaction deals? I've been a T-Mobile customer for about 12 years now, and I'm still under contract, but not yet eligible for an upgrade. Anyone else in this situation that has not had to pay full price for their S4? Who / What department did you speak with, and what tactic did you use? I upgraded my last phone before I was eligible at a full discount, but I don't want to push my luck...

Ordered from tmobile online yesterday 4/30 and got overnight shipping for free due to a free next day shipping promotion they are having (i had to call tmo to get my $25 shipping refunded), TMO order confirmation shows delivery date of 5/8 on webiste but UPS website shows delivery date of 5/1. When I logged on to Tmo, it says shipped with a tracking # so then I tracked it on UPS, there was no record to be found. About midnight the tracking number started to "track" and it showed my package on the way and should be here before the end of the day ( May 01). Woke up this morning checked again and now my S4 is "OUT FOR DELIVERY"...o the joy, i cant wait!!! Its like waiting for Santa all over again that why i told all my friends: S4 its what dreams are made of!

I ordered on Monday morning (full price upgrade and paid for overnight shipping), and have no tracking number yet. I heard different stories of "payment is being processed", and then "you will get it on Tuesday for sure, it's been shipped" to today's gem "we don't have any yet from Samsung." Riiiiight! I asked twice to have my shipping refunded, and the rep changed her tune to "actually it probably got shipped" and refused to refund the charge. Is this what UNcarrier has come down to?
Quite pissed by now that I can't even get a clear answer.
I ordered mine at about 1pm on Monday, got regular shipping, never recieved a confirmation and it never showed up on My Tmobile but less then 48hrs later it showed up at the door. Really surprised because I was going to call them today to see if the order actually went through.

So I was in AT&T today getting ready to pre-order and setup my new contract when the sales associate told me they were getting the Note 4 in stock tomorrow. SO I hesitated and said should I just setup my new account tomorrow instead and he replied yes and set me up an appointment for when I get off work. Well paranoid me I am worried they will sell out before I get off work tomorrow so I called and talked to the manager, now she is saying she is pretty sure they are gonna get it tomorrow but told me it is not guaranteed but that if I call in the morning they will put one aside for me if they do arrive.

Called 4 stores around me. 2 told me the 17th, one told me the 14th, the 4th one told me they would start receiving stock between tomorrow and the 17th and could sell them as they received them.
AT&T reps who work in stores don't know MODERATOR EDIT. What's funny is that they think they do.
AT&T online says it will ship by the 14th. The reps are not allowed to hold any phones for customers so don't believe that BS haha.

Update 1: Just woke up and getting ready for work, will call AT&T an hour after they open to see if they came in and to see if the manager will hold her word.

When I went and pre ordered it on monday, the ATT in Etown Ky said they will have them today. I went ahead and had the pre order shipped to my house though. I dont want them trying to sell my preorder just because I was at work.
Although we should never trust what an AT&T rep says, from my past experience the stores do get the phones earlier than when pre-orders ship, but they do not put them out for sale until after pre-orders have already shipped. Makes since because why would they sell to a walk-in before those that have pre-ordered.....if they did this than where would the loyalty be!? Yeah I know, AT&T has no loyalty.

Not that I want this to happen, but I was a pre-order for the FitBit Flex. That launch was a nightmare!! Pre-order started literally months ahead of release. (4, if I remember right) Then, Best Buy started selling them 4 days before the actual launch, so all the pre-orders got screwed.
Sorry for the late update but surprise surprise, no Note 4 delivery... Oh well I was at least able to get my pre-order in so now it's back to the good old refresh the email like no tomorrow and pray for early shipments

Well the reps I talked to are nice and Ive dealt with them before when the S4 was about to be released. I was just bummed at how even the store manager told me it was coming, then I come in the next day saying I was told this to be questioned on who told me it and why.. Either way my pre-order is in and I'm hoping it ships early like my Galaxy S4 did.
TMobile devices are shipping now.
After checking my tracking number It shipped from KY which is where TMobile warehouse resides I guess and my phone is showing in the Nashville UPS hub since im located here in Nashville TN.
It has a delivery date of this Monday by 4PM.
That goes for allot of people who preorderd on TMobile. Getting devices way ahead of the 17th!.
Still no change on my pre-order status for the phone, but interesting enough on friday my sim-card they include in the pre-order changed from "preparing to ship" to "processing". Hoping for a speedy shipment.
I'm with AT&T and still sitting at preparing to ship between the 14th and 16th but I'm willing to bet this will change come monday. Not expecting much today since it's Sunday. Quite surprised your status changed so late on a Saturday, maybe they will at will at least get the devices to UPS today. They won't move obviously but if they have them then that means first thing Monday morning it's gonna get real :fingers-crossed::victory::fingers-crossed:

My sim also has been changed to processing. But my note order is still sitting at preparing to ship

I wouldn't expect to see anything change unto the early morning Monday hours. It's Sunday, NOTHING moves on Sunday. I mean businesses can drop **** off sometimes but it just sits in a back room waiting for business hours.

I've seen some getting their replacements from Best Buy and a few AT&T stores seem to have received them this afternoon, but it seems they are in Maine and Virginia from what I've seen. Wish Verizon would jump on board! They should be pushing an update for the Verizon Note7 tomorrow or Wednesday too, hopefully its got some goodies inside it.

Had my wife check the Verizon store where I originally purchased my N7 at on her way home from work. They told her they weren't expecting them in for another week... WTF?!?!

Yeah they told me a few days ago that they weren't expecting them for a few more weeks. I don't think the reps know wtf they are talking about sometimes. Gonna try again in the morning and see what happens

I also contacted my local store yesterday(and will attempt to do so once again today) and was advised they did not expect any shipments. The person also advised that he wasn't aware when they were actually arriving.. I will, however keep trying.. Every day...

My manager friend whos at our reseller store said hes got as much conflicting stories as we do. He did say verizon did say its a one for all when they come in. So basically us exchanger have to be in comp with people who want to buy new ones. Which we discussed how bull**** that is. What he has done is made a list (of those whos called) and when they come in hes going to contact the exchangers and give them first crack.

I have read that the note 7 won't go on sale for new customers until October. Only exchanges till then.

I'm currently at our vacation home roughly an hour away from the nearest corporate store; been here all summer and had my original Note 7 delivered here when I ordered it online.
When I read here this morning that the VZW website was showing the Note 7 available for purchase, I called in to arrange for my replacement to be shipped to me. The Customer Care rep initially claimed that the phone could only be exchanged in a corporate store, but when I explained to her that I had spoken with 2 CC reps previously that had stated unequivocally that a replacement could be shipped, she did some checking and discovered that this was indeed an option.
As I write this, though, she's having an issue using my alternate shipping address (even though it's the same one the original phone was shipped to!), and is working with her manager to resolve that and will be calling me back with a confirmation number.
The replacement is shipping 2nd-day and I'm hoping to have it in-hand on Thursday.
I read that too yesterday but haven't heard anything to verify it. We just have to... As usual wait. ?

Just called no ETA on when they are getting any in.. My friend is a store manager for a authorized resellers that run by the cellular connection (all through the usa) and they have nothing.. Hes can't understand why they are not communicating to everyone except stores even his corporate stores friends dont know anything.
So I called Verizon again this morning, and she told me to call back tomorrow as they should be getting some in on the 21st. So hopefully tomorrow I can exchange it and stop worrying about owning a ticking time bomb lol
So how do you actually get through all the automated B.S. to talk to a person at the local Verizon

Hmmm I was able to order mine today, I also asked what I should do with the "bad one" they said to keep it as Samsung doesn't want them back...In my heart I feel this isn't true and I don't want to be charged for not returning the old one. Who else was told to keep the old one?
