Recently just installed MIUI because well.. I miss it.
So I installed MIUI with -
- ICS/GB Kernel 3/21
- Beats Audio Mod SGSII Mod
- Battery Life Mod, newer.Zip near the last page
I then booted it up and just enabled wifi and went to sleep. Then this happened...

I cannot even comprehend what happened, before I went to sleep it wasn't on, well the display.
But when I look at it says the display was on but it wasn't! The reason how I know it wasn't on is because I left wifi turn off when screen is off.
If anyone can explain this please do.

Try wiping battery stats thru recovery and see if it happens again. If it does some program is probably holding a wake lock.

I actually did that once I flashed the rom, no roms were installed. I flashed and signed into wifi and went to sleep.
Woke up with it dead and went into battery stats and found that lol. By the way, do you happen to know if there is a way to use miui music widget 4x4 on a different launcher?

you were talking with screen on... so 2 hours of screen time with 1:50 of phone time is kind of normal.

No I was not talking at all, i made two quick phone calls and that's it, and phone had never showed up using that much battery. Anyway I flashed darkside cache wipe and that seemed to fix it

Hows your reception? I know if i dont turn on airplane mode while at work "Phone" shows up just like yours does. I realized its cause i would constantly go in and out of service and when im out of service it would stay awake and never sleep. Plus at my dads house, HSPA is really weak, so i either must force 2G or 3G in order for my "Phone" to stop chewing up battery.

I'm rooted with jellybam v7.0.0 with bms kernel. I'd call my usage about medium. On my e4gt I could get 20+ hours of battery stock and unrooted. Why is my battery life so poor on the s3? It's actually frustrating. I have it set to underclock at 192-192 when screen is off and it's undervolted -25mA at every clock speed. My brightness is always on like 15% no matter what. I only have my data turned on when I'm using it, that's it. I don't even have any game apps installed. My screen timeout is 30 seconds. Anyone have any ideas here??

Wake locks maybe? Get a battery monitoring app like Better Battery Stats (you can get it for free here on xda)
great movie

Anthrax on clean bean 2.3 with cross breeder. Some Wi-Fi, data always on. Auto brightness.
Updating to 2.7 when it drops since I already have multi window.
Also use Bluetooth to stream audio, and gps&sync on.
Oh. And I'm completely debloated. Makes a sizeable difference.
Used a safe to remove list found some where here.

Sometimes I have noticed my phone does not deep sleep and runs continously at 200Mhz.. This happens randomly and I can't figure out what triggers it. I have checked BBM and there is no partial wakelock reported as well. So this is no app issue. When I go to my battery stats, the Android OS is the one keeping my phone awake for multiple hours on end. I have tried changing roms and kernels and I get the same problem once in a while. Is this a bug with the new 4.3 I update? It's important to note that this will happen randomly.. Some days it's fine other days it will start acting up... The only fix is to reboot.
Any ideas?

I believe that [pmp_hsic_pm0] thing is making his phone to stay awake.

Had the same issue a couple days ago... No issues at all since I got the phone and flashed jedi rom... Then one day it started acting up. I restarted and it kept doing it and then I restarted and cleared my cache and seemed to work.... Don't know if the clearing of the cache did it or just the restarts but it's back to acting normal.

I never leave my phone stock so I am not totally sure but maybe stock recovery? Turn off the phone then hold power and volume down then scroll to recovery select it and it will either go to it or you will have to hold I think the volume down button..
Someone else could answer this better than me. Have been running cwm or twrp ever since I went android.

I just got the M7 yesterday and updated to sense 6 today.
The only problem I see with this phone is that the battery is draining too fast.
So I'm trying to find the power saving mode.
I looked up at the manual and also some videos and found out that sense 5.5 has power saving notification
but no mention about sense 6.
So my question is that where can I get the saving mode in 4.4.2 sense 6?

Stuck in the same boat I believe you have to root because I couldnt find that option either or you could use a battery saver. I get about 17 hours out of mine a day with headphones on for about 3/4 of the day

Look up "Go battery saver" in the play store and it will show up it will look like this. I use it since I'm not rooted yet and can't mess with the settings.
