Notications Quit Vibrating - Epic 4G Touch

I have to admit that I do not know if this should go in Q&A or here... first time posting. So I have been trying to figure this out for the last week. I have researched EVERYWHERE and I am unable to find it.
Last week my E4GT quit vibrating for text messages and emails. I did load a couple applications around the time this started happening so I uninstalled them and this did not help. I noticed that a few others were having this same problem and downloaded an application called Smart Vibrator and this only allows you to get the text messages to vibrate, not the emails. I use K9 Mail for my emails.
Since I know that Sprint Customer Service loves to tell me that it is my phone instead of listening to me, I did a complete reset of the phone (what a pain) and wiped everything. I unrooted, rerooted, everything... Again, nothing. Anyone recommend anything?

Well if anyone is having this problem, I have tried everything. I did find a couple apps that seemed to have worked. Vibrate tools or Force vibration seems to help.

There's a free app called Sound Manager that will let you set the vibration status.

Any luck on this geojam?

What seems strange to me is that you did a "complete wipe and reset", and it still didn't work, but after the fact an app "fixed" it.
I would have said do a complete ODIN reset, and if it still not working, get a replacement because it's hardware...

Rogers SGH-I747M: Screen turns on by itself after pressing power button

I've done a search for this problem, but haven't found a solution to this yet.
I'm running the stock rom w/root. It didn't do this when I first got it, but it's doing it more and more as time goes by. It's starting to drive me nuts, especially at night since my phone is my alarm as well. Doesn't seem to matter if the phone is charging or not.
The screen will flicker on and off a few times in a row, then stay dark for awhile then resume the on/off behavior out of nowhere. I'm not receiving texts or emails when this happens.
I have checked my account syncs, and nothing is set to automatic. Never had this behavior on my SGII LTE running ICS.

Your title made me chuckle.
I did experience some random screen wake ups while on stock that sort of just resolved themselves. Try rebooting, and then try to uninstall any new apps you've installed to see if one is causing this.

Thanks for the suggestion. Rebooting was obvious as I've done that many times. I did go through a bunch of apps and removed them, then reinstalled one by one. So far the problem has gone away, I've yet to identify which app might have caused it though.

Official OTA Jellybean update issue..

i have updated to the OTA Jellybean (toro, VZW) a week ago..
everytime i receive an email or text message, my phone will not stop the notification sound until i check the message, or pull down the menu bar from the lock screen.. only then will it stop the notification sound...
now the problem i am having is that, when i do receive an email or text and i do not check it for a few minutes or so, then i receive another one before checking the first notification, it plays 2 notifications simultaneously, and trying to check or dismiss the notification, the last one goes away, but the first one keeps playing, even after checking all notifications, making sure everything is checked as read from texts to emails..
restarting the phone is the only thing that stops the notification sound... if i don't restart, even making a phone call or playing songs or youtube will continue the notification sound... this is my 2nd gnex from warranty, first one had the headphone issue where it was stuck in headphone mode.. i have tried factory reset, still the same problem...

Ota updates can cause issues like this when previous data isnt properly cleared. delete the data folder on the sd card where android caches all its system apps before you initiate the reset. Ive seen alot of phones do theres sort of things when versions upgrade and apps update but previous caches arent .

Since updating

Since upgrading my 360 no longer vibrates on alerts, nor dies it receive text alerts at all, is this I glitch or am I missing a setting that I can't find !

try doing a system reset on the watch..i had to..

Thanks but i have tried that and it has made no differance, i have tried Textra, Gosms pro, and latest Chomp sms yet i cannot get a notifiaction on the phone under any circumstances, the strange thing is it was fine until this morning and i updated it nearly a week ago !!!!!

Problems
There seems to be a lot of issues especially with notifications since the update rolled out, hopefully this will be rectified on the next upgrade due 3rd November !

Fixed
Uninstalled and reinstalled chomp sms and now it's working like a boss, don't know why but it's done the job.

SW3 doesn't display notifications

Hi,
about 2 day ago my SW3 stopped displaying notificaions like Facebook Messenger, SMS (stock application), calls. I tried reinstalling everything - factory reset, reinstalling Android Wear application etc. It helped for some time but after few hours it stopped displaying notifications again.
Google Now works, Coffee (SMS) works but stock SMS or calls or Messenger aren't display on my wrist.
I'm not 100% sure (I tried new ROM) but I believe that I wasn't changed anything. Android Wear application was upgraded twice and it's name was changed, could it be the reason?
I haven't install any new application.
Aby idea?

P.S. I have Samsung S6 with custom ROM. SW3 is on stock.

Are the notifications displaying on the phone in the Notification bar?? If not, then it's a problem with the phone and the ROM. New ROM may be blocking notifications. I have Notification Manager in my Settings which allows me to change notifications. The watch will only display notifications that appear on the phone.

Did you make sure to enable Notification Access in the phone's settings?

The designer can disable notifications in the watchface, could that be it?

I could see the notification in the bar and everything was enabled.
Now, although I didn't made any change it started working again well. I don't understand...

Guessing its the rom

It sounds similar to the problems I am experiencing. Everything works fine for a few hours after a factory reset, but then I am stuck with no notifications from Gmail, Hangouts stops syncing new messages, no remote controls for Play Music, etc. There is still connection with the phone... Find My Phone still works, Ghostracer still syncs my runs (eventually).
I've tried several factory resets and still it happens every time. The watch was working great until a few weeks ago, very frustrating.

I have exactly the same problems as above.
Smartwatch 3 and Note 4 - both stock. They work for a few hours together after a reboot and then the notifications stop appearing on the phone.
I turn off notifications to android wear and turn it back on again and its ok for a little while and then stops working again.
Anyone got any ideas?

A bit of an update to this. I've now managed to get mine back up and running reasonably well - to the point its been running ok for 2 days. Previously it would only be an hour or two until it stopped sending notifications to the watch.
I deleted the Android Wear App
I performed a factory reset on the watch
Re-install android wear.
Pair watch
It then went through and installed all my apps and since then has worked fine.

I've figured it out. It was caused by restoring nandroid backup in TWRP.
Solution: go to the application manager on the phone, all applications. Find Google services and delete all data including wear storage.
The watch will be forgotted and you have to pair it again but everything should work well.

I was just about to reply to this again as although above I said it was working fine I managed to get it to break again.
The only difference was that I had changed to a non sony watchface.
As soon as i started using a 3rd party one i was getting the same problems again
I've been back on a builtin watchface for a while and its been working fine.
I've just swapped back to a 3rd party one to see how long it works for.
