Noob question. Be nice.
I'm trying to find themes for AOKP M5. I read that there is supposed to be a Theme setting in Settings in M5, but I do not see it. I see themes suggesting using Theme Chooser to install them. I'm thoroughly lost because I don't know where theme chooser is in AOKP.
Can you help out an idiot please?
Its not on the milestone... flash the latest build which is build 39. Then you will be able to just download themes from the market and install them.

I really want to theme my phone, running CyanogenMod 6.1.2.
I'm having trouble finding the best themes... the ones I like most are the Flavored Ice themes ( http://jbthemes.com/jairomeo/flavored-ice ) but I'm worried they won't work with 6.1.2?
Thus, I have some questions:
Does anyone know from experience if the Flavored Ice themes will work with CyanogenMod 6.1.2?
Where can I find themes for 6.1.2?
Will themes that are just for "CM6" work with this version?
Any and all help is appreciated!
Themes for 6.0.0 or 6.1.0 will not work due to framework-res.apk changes in both versions, but the only difference between 6.1.1 and 6.1.2 were some kernel tweaks, so if a theme works on 6.1.1, it will work on 6.1.2.
As for the question about your particular theme... I have no idea. You can always try though, just take a Nandroid backup beforehand, and you'll be fine. If the theme doesn't work, just restore your Nandroid.
So I'm wondering if there are CM7 roms for the play with data, I know of freexperia but idk if thats the only one. And what it would take to intergate the theme chooser to another rom..
CM 7 Theme Engine or T-Mobile Theme Engine is only for Cyanogenmod7 Based Roms.
For our Play is The rom from FreeXperia the only Cyanogenmod Rom.
It is Possible but you must change the Framework and all System Apps, and its very difficult to do.
Easier for all is to port a Design to Normal Framework and SystemUI, like i do it ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1496653 ).
Hope it helps.
So either use freexperia rom or convert a theme for theme chooser to a normal theme? Alright It'll be my goal over feb break thanks
Yes theese are only the two only ways. But I would to create a theme
Cause CM7 is not compatible with all games and the touchpads.
If you need help PM me.

I have a samsung galaxy nexus running mmuzzy's jellybean 4.2.1 rom and i am wanting to add the theme chooser to my app drawer so i can apply themes to my device but i am having trouble finding what I am looking for if their is any. Please help direct me in the right direction.
the dev will have to add it into the rom.. theme chooser isnt a app that you download yourself
I just bought a galaxy note 2 sprint from best buy yesterday. I like the added features and things in the jelly bomb rom but hate the blue theme. Is this theme replaceable with nova launcher? or should i try a different rom or get some pointers in the right direction.
I have been reading tons in these forums but still feel completely lost...thanks for any help.
Using Nova Launcher (or any other launcher) will not replace the blue theme of the rom.
However, you can flash Jelly Bomb and then flash a different theme on top of it. Jelly Bomb's theme is very complete so I doubt most other themes will overwrite all of the changes made in Jelly Bomb.
Try this, flash Jelly Bomb and then flash this theme: http://sourceforge.net/projects/darkside4/files/Sprint/Revert_Stock_%20DEODEXED_L900PALJC.zip/download
The theme I linked is the 'Revert to Stock' theme from foreverloco's AOSP theme thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2004684
