So i just picked this thing up, doing some info scouring and tried a search. I dont see anything listed for rooting this kernel ver. Whats a good method for rooting this 2.6.35.11 kernel? Im assuming I need a different method vs those Im seeing for 2.3.5?

There is only only one thread and it describes thoroughly the only way to root 4.0.4 update. If you find it difficult to follow, maybe you need to do some reading to get accustomed with the basics of modding your device. Check the stickies in the General section. Good luck!

you need a 'ready to root' ftf to flash onto your phone before you can root it.
here's one for arc s
after flashing, put your phone in debugging mode and connect your phone to pc and run the 'RunMe.bat' file from this (extract first)
Shall give it a go and post results.

Is a frogs a$$ water tight?
Root that bad boy! A quick search on the forums or Google will get you to the video by QBking77 (Great tutorials on rooting as well as reviews of roms) Rooting is worth it because it opens up many options in customization, and the guys on this forum (Devs, members) are a wealth of knowledge. Just use the search before you post (9 out of 10 times someone has asked the same questions you may have) Welcome to the Family!

You can still use towelroot, but you need to flash back the 4.4.2 NB4 stock kernel through odin. After rooted reflash the new 4.4.4 NH7 stock kernel. There you go, rooted NH7 knox 0x0.

I flash back to 4.4.2 NB4 stock kernel through Odin, rooted my phone using Towelroot and then reflash the 4.4.4 NH7 stock kernel and checked to see if I had root using Root Checker and it says " Sorry! This device does not have proper root access"
