Hi guys,
so, I had my HTC One X unlocked bootloader, S-off & root, with PKMN ROM, & I was moving to another ROM & Kernel, & I kind of bricked my device, after a boot loop, I was fixing it, but after that I tried to fastboot, but it doesn't find my device connected & it tells me waiting for device, until I notices my bootloader is still unocked but my S-off is back to S-on & I think that is causing this to happen,
If someone can help me with that to take it back to normal (with a nandroid backup of my Stock(root) I already have)
I do really appreciate
You never had s-off...we don't have that yet.

I don't have a One X, but the Rezound should have pretty similar procedures.
Did you flash the kernel for the ROM?
I believe the One x has a removable battery, so try a battery pull and power on from there.

Yes it says relocked, however i cant flash a ruu with low battery and i cant find a way to charge as i am stuck in fastboot mode
quickly unlock your bootloader again and flash clockworkmod found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1594819
I just uploaded fastboot in case you don't have

You should be able to charge if you power off completely.

Everytime i go to power off, it will turn on by itself to the fastboot screen/
Quickly flash clockworkmod recovery, so you will have the ability to charge

This question has popped up many times in this forum. Remember its forum rules that you have to search before you post a question. It is quite likely that this has already been solved somewhere else.
Since there is already a thread started now I guess you could try my solution . Turn the device off and Plug the HTC One X into a power outlet using the HTC charger given when you bought the phone. At 30 percent you phone should turn on. Then enter Fastboot and leave the phone for a while.
Remember to make sure your phone is charged before you flash anything. Pernament damage is possible.

Hello to all,
I have searched this forum for a problem identical to mine but without success. When I put my HTC One X charging the battery (device off) he enters alone (automatically) in bootloader mode.
I think it was not so ... My HOX is completely original, the only difference is that it is rooted.
Some device info:
HBOOT: 1.39.0000
RADIO: 5.1204.162.29
Software Number: 3.14.401.31
CID: HTC_001
It is normal?
Are you charging from a PC ? If not plug in the charger and check if its counting as USB.

The HOX boots without problem. The anomaly is when I try to charge the device while it is off. The HOX automatically connects in bootloader mode (USB when connected to a PC) instead of, only, charge the battery.
i heard this issue before, and it was about the recovery, which one do you have installed?

The phone booting:

Error will trying to enter recovery:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WdQYSUSTW78&feature=youtu.be
I dont know how to see recovery version...
the recovery gives that error because your bootloader is locked, if you want to use custom recoveries you have to unlock it... that's also why your phone gets up while is off... unlock the bootloader, flash a custom recovery and all should be ok...
Lol... I never installed a recovery on my HOX

It seems I have this problem too. Mine was samsung j1 mini prime and automatically enters bootloader whenever I charging in offline mode. Im not planning on flashing custom recovery since my phone is still under warranty. Any other solution guys?
Hey,
Can anyone recommend a place in Australia who may be able to fix my phone??
Phone HTC One X - Out of the box and phone requested updates when i first connected to home wifi. Phone then downloaded updates and restarted to complete HTC sense update. The phone never went past the htc logo and continues to restart. I have tried all the flashing/RUU kinda stuff but battery is now dead as the phone doesn't realize its plugged in??
I am not very technically minded so was hoping i could send phone somewhere to get it sorted??
Thanks heaps for your help.
Dan
Are you sure you've had the right ruu?
Fastboot getvar version-main
From the software number you can find the right ruu.
If you unlocked the bootloader and are able to flash a custom recovery you can also restore a nandroid found on xda if you have the right one.

the ruu was supplied via a link from the place i bought the phone from. My main issue is lack of power as it doesnt charge
Hey all,
My friend's phone used to boot it to the bootloader after every 6 hours or so on its own. Now it booted again to the bootloader and bootloops to the HTC screen and bootloader. It is S-ON and bootloader is locked. I can see option for fastboot, recovery. Havent tried anything yet. No custom rom was ever installed and was never rooted.
hboot version is 1.36.0000
Also it shows a warning that Battery Level is too low to flash.
is there anything be done to restore the phone or is it hard bricked?
if you want screenshot of the bootloader then I can post.
EDIT: Screenshow of the bootloader screen attached
Install RUU. It should fix your problem.

Ran the battery boosting script. Was able to exectute the unlock.bin command. It went successfully. Phone asked me to accept the disclaimer voiding warranty. I did that. Rebooted the bootloader. And still, it shows as locked but now with a Security warning. Along with the batterly level too low to flash warning.
Any help? I was trying to unlock the bootloader and install custom recovery to charge the phone atleast 30%.
UPDATE: After sever re-tries I figured out, now when on the htc disclaimer screen when I use volume buttons to select Yes, the power button to select doesn't responds, but for no it works.!
Don't know what my phone is upto. it is getting too much frustrating to me.
UPDATE: Got another unlock_code.bin from HTCDev. But now another problem is there. No matter how many times I try the device stays unlocked. I tried almost 15 stays in a row and I stays locked. Any idea how can I get out of this mess?
