Seperate tegra and S4 HOX threads {REQUEST TO MODS} - HTC One X

Request to Mods to Seperate Threads for HOX.
Being that the devices have such a different make up (not aesthetically) there should be two different threads for the Snap Dragon(S4) units and the Tegra 3 units.
Just a request but it would definitely help users that use the HTC One X, being there are so many different versions of the Device. Thanks for your time.

Do u prefer soft keys or HTC capacitive keys?

Hey guys.
While watching the football this idea popped into my head, do u like what HTC have done with the capacitive keys or would u have prefered on screen buttons in their place? With effectively the whole front of the device being the screen like the gnex. I personally would have preferred on screen buttons, I like bezel less devices like the gnex and like customizing the soft keys.It would also get rid of the ugly 3 dot menu button on our one x.
Post ur opinions below.
Thanks
Adam

I dont care about the buttons. As long as it works.
The three dot thing is fixed in the 2.x roms.
Also fixed on the One V.

The three dot menu kills me aha i m just thankful for Roms

The 3 dot thing doesn't frustrate me.
And about the keys, on screen or off screen, they use space anyway so I don't care as long as they work indeed.
What's the use of opening this thread?

The HTC One V also uses the "Built in" option to have the three dots.
The 2.x ROMS will have the same option.

But seriously, grats, read the rules, check Android Development forum and choose a ROM yourself. There is no best rom and even asking for one will get people yelling at you.
Have fun!

hey buddy glad to see you here and glad you finally managed to get your One X. best rom is really one that you find for your needs. all roms are great really. but ARHD is one of them which is basically stock with modifications by one of the true greats of the HTC dev community and also PKMN rom which is a rom full of tweaks and mods to have your ears burning from happiness..but best to find one rom and kernel combo that you are happy with as what we might suggest you might not like
eheh, goku I sold my rezound to get the one x, but I'm very desapointed with battery, i've got 6h/5h battery life with heavy use
right now I've install the Android Revolution 7.1.0 I will see if have any probleme with this roms and battery performance
And so it begins.
Where's erklat when you need him??
Where did you buy it? Should wait some time until unlock the bootloader.... Warranty void... I had 11 HOXs and im close to number 12
More info: u got my msn

From italy (expansys) i bought from other user on xda, that user bought galaxy s3
xD. Its all fine with my hox, already put the rev 7.1 with faux kernel

Seriously dude ... Devs are busting their a** to bring a stable port people like you always troll to discourage them. As for Samsung you know who is heading Cyanogenmod, Steve Kondik who works for Samsung so it's no surprise they got the official one so fast. Personally I don't think we need a official one since our developers here is doing an awesome job.
well ok then. sell your htc one x and buy sgs3 and use cyanmode 9.its easy huh??

No mod or Rom will fix the crap reception that the sgs3 has. And nothing will fix the fact that the amoled screen is just not bright enough in direct sunlight.

Sorry for i first post. I didn't intent to insult developers who do this wonderful job on their own free time. My point is why they got so fast and why HTC just give us s-off devices?
This is the HTC One X forum, so no need to discuss any other device than this.

Almost certainly not going to happen. Since we haven't seen a port of any previous HTC ROM, then this would be no exception.

I have the one that boots up but keeps looping. if any1 cares to help point me in the direction as to make it work like finish building it. pleas drop me a line and lets get started (no idea if it means anything) but all my drivers and bootloaders and fastboot is installed with adb. on pc
sorry for bringing this post up again, but i think this is better than opening a new thread.
what i wanna ask is that does something make it difficult to port a htc rom to this device, or something else?
i am certainly attracted by the htc one rom on first sight. it would be nice if i can have a taste of it on GNex without the need of changing a new one.

mostly coz: Nobody even bothers! JK
If you just read the other threads asking for HTC ports, you'd know that what makes it all the more difficult is HTC framework, which is proprietary.

Be patient.
HTC already confirmed the OTA will start rolling out by the end of July.
They discovered some further points they wanted to adress.
Thus I guess we'll start receiving it by the end of next week.
I feel there is only 1 guy working at the software department of htc since the beginning of 2018

I hear ya buddy cause it seems whenever I usually get a new HTC flagship it usually always beats everything else on benchmarks or at least very close.

Hahahaha!!! Same!
Benchmarks are all over the place. Here's my highest and lowest. Not too happy with it cause it seems HTC flagships usually do much better.
OP updated.
Thread title was adapted to take into account the fact that the HTC U12+ and HTC Exodus 1 are similar in MID, but varying in software and chipsets only.
