Hi all!
i'm using rempuzzle rom 2.71 and i got high battery temp(35.6-38.1 celsius).feeling too warm, when i'm using browser or playing music or movie..but everything running fine, fast and smooth. Is it normal? (nfinity kernel mc4 on 691.2 Mhz)
Lol 38 only ???
Mine goes to 42 and 43 Celsius while on cm7 and LeWa .
Don't worry about it

@Mutrulos
can you change the font in rempuzzle v2.71 ??
35-45 is normal, they are tested up to 60 degrees without problems so if you get near that then start to worry.
I changed my font with absolute system root tools on rempuzzle with no problems at all.

hello guys.. today i tried CynogenMoD (version 7) for the 1st time.. its a gingerbread rom.. but i noticed that its only 87MB in size being gingerbread... and all custom sense roms (based on froyo) are above 250MB... that makes me assume the rest is just htc sense ?

yes, sense its responsible of the file size.. CM7 IS a light rom..

EDIT:google apps are not inserted in the for not to be problems with the copyright.
sorry for my bad english hahahah

Beauty of android open source customization features!!!
Here is a 0 to 100 battery mod with crt effect for xwkh4 stock rom.
Im not responsible for anything happend to your phone if you dont know what you are doing then dont download this file.
To install unpack and copy framework-res.apk to system/framework with root xplorer.
If you like it push the thanks button.

Thanks buddy,
I am on XWKH4 from last few days this stock rom is awesome but you know missing some of the tweaks n UI customization of custom ROMS,
This APK helped me to get couple of them thanks you so much.
And as the stock rom doesnt show the battery in digits i have to install some other app from the market to know the battery %. Now it solved my problem
Thanks you very much.. Keep posting customizations for KWKH4 if you have more
Once again Thanks
Nice to hear you liked it if you like the statusbar in the screenshot install systemui.apk to system/apps.
I also removed the clock in the status bar.
br
Thanks for the prompt reply, installed it. Lookking quite good and the wifi symbol seems to be unique i have never seen then in any of custom roms or jkay themes i hav flashed also not even from the i have installed from market. Good work dude. Keep it up and keep coming them thanks

Hello,
I have some Problem with my Phone. It's currently running Cyanogenmod 7.2 the latest Update. It's a A510e.
So, the Problem, when I want to Overclock my Phone over 600 MHz it will Freeze or Reboot in some Minutes after that. Is there any Problem that can solve it? Maybe another Kernel for CM7.2?
Thanks for your Help.

So..isn't it be able to make a Overclockable Kernel for all WFS Models..or it is just hardcore to code?
U could try dust kernel by einstein.frat but he is banned Ap get the file by another xda member.......it can oc to 865 I use it on 825 and its quite stable but be sure to get v8.8 as it is better and more stable

Already tried these with a 2.3.5 Sense Rom. Just freeze in the white htc Screen. Going back to CM 7.
Not all models of the wfs are overclockable sadly so it doesn't matter what kernel you use it won't work

bingzz, that's exactly what I want to know: why can't some HTC GSM phones be overclocked, when the rest can?? they have the same hardware, then why this ?? it's injustice!

Well it's the same with computer CPU's, some CPU's can get to 5 Ghz some only to 4Ghz. You'll need a bit of luck.
had the same problem with my a510e but on sense rom figured out i was OC to high
and would cause my device to freeze or turn off by itself
try find some help here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1494480&highlight=kernel+cm7

The thing is (at least in my case) I can't even set the values for CPU - even if I use the option "apply on boot" - when I set the CPU values the phone reboots in few seconds and the values are back to defaults - 600 Mhz.
Today I tried to flash the new WildChild ROM 1.5. (which is already overclocked to 768 Mhz), but I'm stucked at the white HTC screen - I guess it's because of the overclocking because other ROM's work just fine.
So as I take it, I was just unlucky and bought one bad piece and there is no way to solve this?

I have this Problem too. At the moment there is no way to solve it, badly. To use OC Roms you can only Flash the default 600MHz HTC Kernel.
reflashing rom can often fix some issues but most likely a kernel problem
what are you using to set cpu e.g: nofrills etc??
did you wipe dalvik, cache, user data and whatever else is needed for you rom??

try this rom:

and post results had this running on my a510e just a week ago and it worked perfectly 787-245 ondemand is what i had mine set to

Look, I face the same problem. But i can flash HenseMod. HenseMod is an OC rom...and it works...so why shouldn't wildchild.....there has GOT to be some method to get it working on our phones...
be posted on this thread that I've created...maybe someone mighthelp...http://androidforums.com/wildfire-s...27-wfs-cant-over-clock-stuck-boot-screen.html
have you followed these steps exactly how they say??
just flashed it to my A510e and its working fine
Prepare and partition your SDCard. (Folks seem to enjoy a FAT32 primary, a 1 GB ext4 (I use ext2), and a 512MB Linux Swap... in that order.)
Copy the WildChild ROM .zip file to your SDCard. Cool.
Reboot into Recovery mode.
Wipe data/factory reset. (Do it twice, especially if on CWM)
Wipe Dalvik cache. (twice, as above)
Choose "Install zip from SDCard".
(You might have to toggle Signature Verification until it is Disabled)
"Choose zip from SDCard" and select your WildChild ROM .zip file.
(read the splash screen and wait about 2 mins.)
Reboot phone; wait another 2-3 mins.
N.B. Starting with WildChild v1.5, two reboots is now normal and expected during the setup.
When lockscreen appears with your local carrier time, you may unlock phone and start using.
Enjoy! (...and throw a "Thanks" my way! )
I think the problem is that Wildchild is already overclocked to 768 mhz. If you also experience troubles overclocking your CPU in other ROMs try it and let me know if it works for you.
I followed the instructions carefully, tried to flash it several times with both odex and de-odex versions, but the results were the same, it didn't load at all. Just the white HTC screen.

Ditto with my phone...and this has happened with all overclocked ROMs (mindhackers mostly)....I'm planning to sell my WFS and go for a MOTO Droid Razr Maxx...
I've got a htc wildfire s a510e and had cyanogenmod 7.1 as rom on my phone,
but I wanted something else and switched over to Miui v4 2.8.10 odex from henry.
I have tried to reinstall it multiple times without any succes.
But the problem is that it keeps rebooting while using it.
The reboottime is random and I have wiped all things that had to be wiped?
Does anyone has a solution?
Same problem here
Try install no-frills and set max cpu at 600 Mhz.

I have the same problem! No using any scripts.I installed no frills cpu and setted at max 600 mhz,but random restarts keep coming.
A stupid question:kernels for gb is not compatible with cm9,right ?
I have fixed my problem, the problem was that nofrills didn't get root permissions from LBE Guard,
so I went to LBE Guard and checked that nofrills could have root permissions.
I changed the cpu to 600mHz and it haven't rebooted since

NO. There are no extra flashable kernels for our device for ICS.
There are just kernels for sense roms. Also There's just one kernel for CM7. I guess its called speed mod or something.
It keeps happening but only after 2 hours.
Is it possible to make a complete systemlog from boot until it reboots?
Hello Everyone,
I recently downloaded the "ROM Toolbox Pro" app onto my HTC One V. At first I wasnt sure of all the things you can modify your phone with, but after looking and playing around for a few hours I got the idea. I noticed that you can change your [3G] icon to different colors and so forth for other icons on your phone. When I reboot the phone after applying a new boot logo, and Icon it didnt work at all. My first thought was that maybe you cannot modify anything with the Stock ROM? If anyone can tell me any information about this, that would be wonderful!
Also if I need to switch my ROM to something else, can someone please send me a link to a good ROM for the HTC One V that doesnt have any issues, and the full setup on how to do it? That would be wonderful!
Thanks alot,

First it would be helpful to know if u primoc (us) or primou, that way u can be told were too look but here is a guide on lots of stuff,
How to flash a custom kernel and rom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1996665
Link to primoc ROM provisions rolleyes:) 4.1.2
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2098618b
People say it is a daily user read the op
Here is codefirex primoc this is a full jb 4.2.2
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2152960
One major problem to some no camera since it's kernel is ion based. I like this room a little more to cm10.1
If u are primou I'll provide u links if u like as always read tutorials and the instructions in the developers ROMs introduction post of what ever ROM u choose. Some ROMs have a little different way of that rom being flashed in order for it to work. As always i am in no way at fault for any thing or way that u may totally f up ur phone during the process of flashing my ROM or any other ROM/kernel.
Good luck and welcome to xda

Boot Animation - Install
I've had problems with getting new fonts on my Samsung Player 5 (ROM: Chip1.5).
Worse, the Boot Animation and Randomizer won't let me change the boot animation any longer. It was working (especially when I had the standalone Boot Animation app). Not sure what happened?
Thanks.
