I am not able to send text messages above 160 characters as it immediately fails. Is there a solution to this?
Currently on Bionic Cow 2 ROM.

OK so on my phone, it says I have one new message all the time. It won't go away even after deleting all my messages. How do I fix this?
hello,
when i try to send a sms which is greater than 160 letter limit, it fails. if sms is lower than 160, than it works.
also when i try to sms to a number which is 121, it says invalide number and phone dont sent a message.
i have tried go sms and handcent sms, nothing is working
any help or suggestion ??

Are you running totally stock? Which modem do you have installed (If you are totally stock, do you have Andriod 2.2 Froyo)?

I cannot send sms via my note 2.i can make/receive calls and get sms but when i try to send a sms it says " failed " with notification " message not sent". i tried 3 different sim cards and flashed 4 different roms including stock rom but it didn't help.i can send sms on other phones via the same sim cards. i checked message center number too and there is nothing wrong with it.please help

Try using a different app like hangouts or go SMS to see if they can send SMS

Hey guys,
I'm trying up back up my sms messages so I can flash a new rom. It's been around a year since I've flashed, and I'm trying to use SMS Backup and Restore.
The problem is that no apps can seem to access my messages; they all say 0 messages found. If I install any 3rd party sms apps, they can't find any messages to import.
Is there any way I can get access to my messages? I have access to root/terminal and am willing to get my hands dirty.

I am having a similar problem with my S4 (though it has cyanogenmod on it instead of the stock Samsung OS). Did you ever find a solution?

I have a swift with an interesting issue
I am on stock ROM, no flashing yet, marshmallow android.
And for some reason I can't send SMS to short code numbers,
I can send normal SMS without any issues,
But if I try send to 35050 my phone crash and reboot my network.
Message still don't get sent,
Any advice?, using stock messaging app,
