[ROM]miui gingerbread beta2(THEME FIX ZIP)

hey guys...i posted this in general section to see if it works and not when it works i shifted it here.it is a port of miui rom from lg optimus one.cm7.2 rc1 marvel nightly.
just remember its a beta release and has bugs.i dont own a wildfire s so i cant test it myself.

Thanks a lot for the great rom. But i found a bug. Pressing the menu button in the lockscreen unlocks the phone!

nitpicker. and your "and so on" includes the possibility to vary the topic.NOWHERE stands [port] is wrong. And I'm sure there are many forums where nobody is bothering. so don't find ridiculous things to enforce your anger.

we also have several stock like roms. and nobody is *****ing about. there are 2 threads on vanilla cm9 porting. nobody cares.
EVERYONE is allowed to post his rom here even if someone other has a different version of the same. This is community, not a patent sue!
or are you just crying that you are not the only one making a specific rom. sorry, but then you better create a scratch new one and register it at a patent office ;-)
that's economy. competition pushs you to be better.

Now that is ridiculous. Think about where the wfs would be if not some people who have no wfs contributed.
e.g. eoghan ! when he firstly contributed his precious work he still had no wfs and was only about to get it. did you care?

i just want to remember you that you stole the entire sense 3.5 rom from idogx claiming it of your own and even asking for donation you should just shut up dude

Henry's ROM is modified CM7 ROM, as far as i know.But this one is completely MIUI ROM, isn't it?

Promised Add-ons are there under the download section!

I've got the Rom working. So far so good
I have installed DATA2SD and that also went well
But when i install the Dust Kernel i don't have WiFi.
Please, can u fix that???

Transparent Statusbar add-on has been launched
Just uploaded SSense V1.1:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

After a few hours work with this rom, it turn out to be a very smooth rom
I have install the next add-ons:
- The transparant statusbar - But it seems to be not working
- Nicer Battery Icon+Overglow Scrolling - i shal use it on my regular rom - It's a nice one
- Data2sdV2withA2sdremover - to get more intern memory
- CakeKernelV1.4 - because to overclock
I have also install the app No-Frills CPU Control en set him on 768max - 320min - Scary / sio and hij goes smooth as butter
For people they wil stay close to the stock rom, it's a very nice rom. He is very easy to customise to your own wishes

FAQ:
Q: What is the clock on the presentation?
A: Its UCCW with Clocker Skin and on the newer one its a part of NPC-UI (search)
Q: When I download I get an .htm file not a zip, did I do something wrong?
A: No you didnt. Its been reported, that if you download directly to your phone you will get a .htm file. If thats the case, simply rename it to .zip and you can flash it. If you download on your PC that issue wont appear
Q: I am getting boot loops, is the theme not working properly?
A: Before I upload the theme I try to make sure everything works and it usually does, which is why you need to check:
1. You have a GSM Galaxy Nexus
2. You have the correct theme zip for you Paranoid Android ROM version
3. Paranoid Android ROM is flashed properly
4. The theme zip should be between 25-37 MB for now
5. You flashed correctly via CWM
If you did all that, then the theme should work perfectly^^
Q: My recents background leaves a gap on the right side, whats wrong?
A: If that is the case, then please go into your paranoid settings and set your systemUI.apk's dpi to 245 and layout to Tablet UI. Works perfect for me and will do tgat for you,too.
Q: Will this ROM work on my Toro device?
A: Well the theme was made for a maguro device, so there might be some issues. But many have confirmed, that it works on toro devices. So if you are wondering, if it works, than plz dont ask. But if you have the courage, make a Nandroid Backup and try. If it works post it to help the others out, which arent as brave^^
Q: How can I revert back to normal Paranoid Android ROM?
A: I uploaded a Back-to-Stock zip, which you can flash for the correct version of the theme and ROM.
Q: Whats the difference between the normal zip and the blue one?
A: The normal zip will give you exactly what you see on the screenshots, while the blue will give you the softkeys in ICS Blue and also the signal and Wifi symbols.
Q: My devices shows 4G when connected to mobile data, why is that?
A: I changed the H to aG symbol, because I thought it looks cooler^^
Q: My battery in the statusbar says I have 15%, but in fact its 11.
A: Well currently the statusbars battery only displays in 15% steps, which means it will display 15 despite it really would be 9 or 10. That might change in future builds, but not yet.

The widgets are part of a theme overlay I created a while back. Its called NPC-UI. You can find it here:

no it wont. You should only apply the same versions. if you are on 2.17 use the 2.17 zip^^
I would recommend you to flash the newest build. Since you can easily dirty flash the rom you wont need to restore anything^^

Hi, this is really beautiful and I would love to try this on my s3 but when I click on the zip to download it, I get a htm file of 3.9mb and not the zip? Am I doing something wrong?

thats one of the most often asked questions ever for this theme^^
When you download from your phone with some browser you will get an .htm file. When that file is around 20MB you can just change the extension to .zip. If your file is only 3mb, delete it^^
When you download from your PC you wont get any errors at all^^
I was able to download using chrome, but sometimes when I have problems you should try mozilla^^

Am i doing any mistake ? or it is just a clock update flash file for S2 ? !! please answer me

Well compared to the stock HTC Sense it is quite dark/greyish^^

puh its always the same^^ I will upload a .zip file, that you can install after the theme zip, which will let you keep the standard signal, wifi and navigation icons ok?

Currently on it. My problem is time. I got an hour or so now and I have to get 34 zips ready and well...that will be a sprint, but you can expect the update today.

This is my 1st attempt at theming so be gentle with me.....
I've made a flashable zip (works on TWRP recovery....not tested CWM) to install.
Any testers or feedback would be muchly appreciated.
The theme uses the stock Steel skin as a base for its red highlights and toggles.
Notification bar's been made from scratch.... so testing by others would be appreciated.
This is a Work In Progress and I'll be theming but I dont want to just paint everything red for the sake of it.
Other apk's will be themed and the version updated.
As with any modifications, you flash at your own risk.
If your phone, gran or your dog mysteriously spontaniously-combust's..... its not my doing.
COMPATABILITY
Based on 3.14.401.31 Android 4.1.1 Sense 4+ so should work on several Current JB Roms.
Confirmed working on BugX 2.6
Confirmed working on Bindroid.
Others? Feel free to test and advise.

I use this daily on Sebs BugX rom and have zero issues.
This theme may well affect any other mods you might have flashed so
MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP 1ST.
INSTALLATION
For best results, flash your rom selecting system only wipe.
(This will restore the stock SystemUI, frameworks etc)
Reboot the phone.
Boot back into recovery and flash the theme zip.
Remember, this uses the steel skin so you need to select:
Settings>Personalize>Skin and select Steel.
UNINSTALL?
The easiest way to revert to stock is restore the nandroid backup you made prior to installing RedSteel.
Alternatively, flash your rom again without wiping. (All data and setting should be maintained)

Modified version for Bindroid, Renovate. See this post for details.

Nice ! Welcome to the world of theming .... you have developed yourself very well since i met you in the old HTC desire days (sebs rom )
I'm also trying things but have so little time.

It all takes time, especially when you try to get something going from scratch with little knowledge. Time runs away when you get too involved. Had a few 5am finishes this week. Mrs P not too happy so having a few days off. ...... Probably.

Ok, flash works but I have an issue see at the screenshots. The preview is ok, but clock widget is missing and no red border on launcher any ideas?
One question, can you pls change the clock color to red?

After a wipe and new flash, clock widget are back, but no red border on launcher an no red letter on clock widget.

I think I might know what the problem is. In Sebs rom (BugX) which I used as a base, the fusion.apk is spelled with a lower case "f" rather than most roms which use a capital "F".
Use a file explorer and check in system>app and look for fusion.apk.
It will have installed the fusion.apk and not overwritten the existing Fusion file which it will still be using for clock/navbar images..
To fix it, rename or delete the existing Fusion file and rename the new fusion with a capiatl "F" and reboot.
I'll add a revised version for "F" roms to download with instructions later.

Working on that at the moment.
You could copy paste the fusion.apk into system>app>.....
This will give the Homepage tweaks, clock etc without the apps and statusbar mods.
Before you do that, depending on what rom you are using, check to see if it is already using "f" fusion.apk or "F" Fusion.apk in system>app.
When you replace it with the one from the theme zip make sure it has the same name as the original.
Once copy/pasted, reboot the phone. Choose Settings>Personalise>Skin>Steel>Apply.

By far, the nicest theming

Ok, after one day using, I can say great work. Works great on OrDroid 12.5.2 with renaming fusion.apk. Thx for your hard work.

Tested On Ordroid 12.5.2 and it worked by changing f to F

A different version with the Cap "F" in Fusion.apk is available to flash in the OP (Just below main download link).
Should be useful for those on current Ordroid and Renovate JB roms.

Omg man yesterday i was wishing for some theme for that wallpaper !
It looks great and awesome ! I will check it soon as i dont want to lose my data on the phone, will i have to flash boot.img manually ?

You won't lose any data. Just flash in recovery and reboot. Make sure you select the steel skin.
