[BOOT ANIMATION] The Batphone!!!! - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

The only credit I can take for this is concept. All design credit goes to a legend in the boot animation world: jaekar99. Please feel free to send any and all donations to him. He deserves it! I probably wouldn't mind if you hit the "thanks" button though!
The Batphone

Jae made a LD and HD version of both because the HD versions are pushing 11mb, and may cause the boot animation to lag. Every chip is different, we know, but I personally am running the HD Bling version, and it runs smooth and clean with no hiccups whatsoever.
DISCLAIMER:
It ain't my fault if your phone bricks or puts on a utility belt and fights crime. It isn't Jae's either. Don't flash this if you aren't already knee deep in comic books and Android know-how!
ENJOY!!!

The "with bling" version ends with the robin symbol over the Batman symbol. Have fun!

No problem! That is the HD "bling' version. If it boots slow or laggy, let me know and I'll give you another link for the low def version. Much smaller file size. Have fun!

It has been a while since posting work here.. well since I retired my Fascinate.
Blast working with you KidDynamite!
I had fun making this animation.. Enjoy!...

Woah, that one is VERY cool! For some reason, it just feels very Batman-ish.... It also boots very fast and the bat symbol looks really awesome at the end. Awesome!!!

Yeah sorry everyone is having issues at the moment. I'm double checking to make sure everything got uploaded correctly. Something may have got borked in the mirroring process.
Edit: Screw the gym, i'm getting this fixed asap.

[Bootanimations] The Bootanimation Repository

Welcome to my collection of bootanimations.
I started this over in the Galaxy Note forums and now that I upgraded to the S3 I am adjusting them all to work on the S3. Big thanks to anbech for the mod that enables custom bootanimations on the S3.
Getting started:
For this to work you need to have custom bootanimations enabled.
Anbech made a CWM flashable zip to enable bootanimations.
Download the CWM_CustomBootanimation_Enable.zip and flash it via CWM.
Check anbechs thread over here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=31833122&postcount=4
Installation:
Download the according zip, copy to your SD and flash with CWM.
These are looping animations. As mentioned by Kryten2k35 these will not work on ICS roms!!
As stated in the Galaxy Note forum, I do not take any credit for creating the original animations.
Here we go....

Hi mate!
I was a fan of the Bokeh filter animation but it was never the right size for my screen. How's it looking on the S3? Also, be aware of the ICS/JB problem. ICS ROM's can't have a looping animation (so you must count the times a part is played) but JB has no problem. I also found that the ICS stuff needed to be twice the FPS.
Looks amazing, and I gonna try all of these!

The Bokeh one looks fine, animation is quite smooth. Original size is 360x592.
Will add the ICS bit... I have not tried any of these on ICS.

Looks lovely, on my device the animation does slow down a bit just before the "google nexus, powered by asus" and seems a little jittery, but then comes back to full speed a few seconds later.
I also noticed that the leftmost column of pixels and rightmost column, both seem to flicker white every now again.
How you noticed this?
How does the animation run on your device?
I am running stock rom.
Really nice though.
Can someone post a YouTube preview video? Looks promising... we need more boot Ani's

Runs pretty much exactly as you described on mine, running PA2.2 w/M-Kernel Plus @ stock speeds.
I might go through and slim the jpegs some, that will speed it back up, but tbh I kinda like how it slows down a little *shrug*

You have to put this file on your phone's storage or SD card and go into your recovery, don't extract the files though put the whole zip file there. To get into recovery turn your phone off and then hit volume-up, home key and then press the power button. Hold all of these down at once.
Then when it goes into recovery choose install zip from SD card and choose the zip file for the boot animation you got. It should instal then you just reboot and you should see the new animation.
