Galaxy nexus multiple cases

I generally like to have multiple cases for my phones. I have bought a couple of cases already without having the phone and would like to know which one you guys think is the best. These are the cases I have bought:

I havent heard many good things about the popcase that it may not provide enough protection. It looks cool though. I have the toughcase but its a dust magnet for starters and the silicone also gets in the way of my screen protector (zagg) at the corners. I have a diztronic tpu case and i like the fit of it better and its thin enough to not be too noticeable. So far i like it best but im still waiting for something better....like otterbox?

Yes, I can not wait for the otterbox. I also found a case for other phones called Sillicrylic (I think thats how you spell it) and that looks like an awesome case!

And I was very satisfied with it

Thank you, I just noticed that one of the ebay links is actually 7 cases, which is awesome so I can switch it out. I will let you guys know which one is best when I get them.

I have this one, and for £1.89 I think it is pretty fantastic. Looks and feels great!

Why hide the Google design. If you look at the use of the phone, the corners are the most hit, so a bumper design is the best. the cases in this post like others I've found are thick and bulky for no real benefit.
iPhone is the best example of what we need.

I made a simple DIY mod to turn a cheap case into a Bumper case.
Search instructibles.com for 'DIY Bumper Case for Galaxy Nexus' and it will come up.

I would like to keep my phone without a case but the fear of dropping or body wear would get under my skin.
I have a diztronic currently and I'm also ordering some cruzerlite cases.

I have a case obsession as well and have many for the Gnex. My latest is the otterbox commuter, which I really love - though its noteworthy that many people do not like this case. A good one as well is the Trident Agesis - I am waiting for this one to be release at the end of Feb.

Case-Mate has released a T989 Barely There Case

**UPDATE**
I know not many of you are into the minimal protection/"Flare" cases, so there's another way you can contribute to Case-mate extending the T989 case lineup. Goto Case-mate's Facebook page and click on the Feedback link on the left column. Search for T989 Cases and vote for it. Obviously, you can see where I'm getting at. If we can get enough votes, it would convince Case-mate to extend the lineup.

So I go to the case-mate website, I see casemate selling a cool ass Marvel comics cases for Iphone 4/4s and I search for the t-mo case and I see this crap case! I want a god damn Iron Man Case.

too bad it only comes in the boring black color, otherwise i'd try one.

On the site it does say it comes in metallic silver but its not listed yet. I will be picking that one up when it is released.

People were reporting fitting problems with the Incipio case though.

Looks very similar to the diztronic amazon case....

Im very happy with my Incipio case and the fitting is perfect .. But i'll try this one aswell too see the difference.

Welp, thanks, but I dislike snap on cases. They don't look that great to be honest.

Yeah, I was hoping for a POP! case but it's obvious Case-mate doesn't see much promise in the T989 and wanted to test the waters. Hopefully spreading the word would result in enough purchases for them to release more colors or more cases x(>.<)x

It just looks weird to be honest, dislike the open parts like the top and bottom.
Doesn't really provide protection from drops...
I LOVE the D30 case. It doesn't really add any bulk, I think it makes it more comfortable in my hands and it definitely provides the added protection.
It's either no protection and a naked phone or if I was going to use a case I'd use something that actually provided protection.
Just my .02 cents. We all have different opinions, no hate.

You should see the htc amaze, it's like the phone was never made lol

Thanks! I was actually looking into these generic cases but I read that the cases begin to crack after some time and that the plastic shell was "cheap" material =[.

I am looking for a case with luxury brand like Louis Vuitton or Hermes. It does not have to be OEM but at least made of genuine leather. I have not found one from a website that is not a scam. Maybe somebody can point me one. Thanks.

More Kickstands
I wish more companies would release 2 models. One with a kickstand and not. So convenient when you need it and not in the way if you don't.

i had the china spigen neo hybrid and those plastic crack within a a couple months but then again i drop my phone a couple times. haha
i just got the slim armor one today and it seems sturdy but its also a bit thicker than the neo hybrid. the buttons are really touch sensitive tho.
i really like the neo hybrid but that damn plastic just cracks too easy.

i totally agree with you! The neo hybrid was one of my original choices as my daily case but the mid frame plastic seems too flimsy to me. How do the buttons feel on your slim armor, click-y, or flat like some TPU cases?

the volume buttons are clicky after some adjustment but the power button can be sometimes really sensitive or clicky

This is a heavy duty 3 layer case that fits on the zerolemon extended batteries. I just ordered one myself.

I just bought a black nexus 5 and I am looking for a case.
I come from an iPhone, which has a LOT of case offer xD
So I was just wondering which cases do you guys personally use and which ones would you recommend.

I personally use the zerolemon battery case its amazing.
When I'm at home I use my spigen slim armor.
Both are great. The ultra hybrid isn't very good due to dust getting in the case

I like the fact that the spigen slim armor has the tow parts that you can change, its pretty cool!!

I use the tech 21 impactology case. Doesn't look like much but its probably saved my N5 2 dozen times already.

The older version used to allow dust getting in.
I have the "updated" model, pretty much air-tight.
Only downside is the shiny back, but I love my case! :angel:

I bought a "Ringke Slim case" in white off Amazon UK. Very nice fit, but get the rubberised version. The white one is as slippy as a bar of soap :silly: Other than that, a case for a bargain price, with a great fit and overall quality!

I really like my black wallet case. :good:

I use a black ballistic case. It's not as huge as an otter box defender but more protective than a commuter

I would love to hear your experience with the UAG cases when your phone arrives (I assume it hasn't yet, since you only shared the cases by themselves). Especially about how the front lips cover the tapered-off edges (am I still able to put the phone face-down and not have the screen touch the surface?) and how thicker the cases make the phone. Some extra photos with the phone inside would be great as well. Thank you for sharing!

I will add some detailed pictures to this thread if my phone ever shows up. Ordered the 1TB in ceramic black and I have a deliver by date of 3/12

I'm getting this case, I have one for my 6T and it's really good, especially the price, surprise not a lot of people mention these cases, theyre out for a lot of other phone as well.

Just search S10 Fabric Case on eBay there is no brand

My go to cases for every smartphone i have owned are from Ringke. I have the fusion clear case and the onyx case waiting for the phone to arrive. If incipio releases their NGP advanced case for the S10 plus, i will be all over it. Love the grip on that case.
Any other simple case, which has grip and is not big and bulky like the speck cases?

Feels amazing and has a good balance of protection and slim feeling, Just need the phone now!

I'm interested to hear what the other ceramic folks are going to use. I'm guessing a clear case would be the best to show off the premium material/color, but if anyone has other ideas, I'd like to hear about 'em.
