Hi guys, have only just tried GTA III that I purchased a few months back, but on my HTC One X but am getting no audio in-game or videos.....
Any ideas? Only thing I have found so far is to uninstall it and reinstall it....

Are you sure you're not using Warez? I know there was an issue with a particular 1.3.apk that was floating around.
I don't mean to sound condescending, just thought I'd ask as if we know what you're running it helps us to help you

Yeah I've got the same problem I bought off the market but there is no in game sound

Definitely not warez, might try re-downloading it again from the market.
My HTC one x is on a branded Three UK rom.
Try removing the GTA3 data directory on the SD card and get the game to download it again.
Redownloading has fixed the audio issue after deleting the data and cache...

Great! Btw though was the sopund glitchy?
None of my friends were able to get nds4droid working.... Maybe its still doesn't support the sg2

Turn on the SPU sound thing and its alot better.
It does do the odd glitch in the sound but it still seems really good.
Havent played many roms but the follwoing emus seem to be working without issue on the roms I have tried:

SNESoid
GameBoid

Hmm ocarina of time lagged for me, but Mariocart and supermario was fine.

MaBlo you played these after overclocking or before? Has overclocking shown any improvement in emulation for anybody?

Its not on the market anymore.
But if you search google for n64oid , you will prob find an apk and then stick that on your phones storage and install.
I dont have it so i don't know where to find it, but if you google you will definatly find it.
btw has anyone tried the sega emulator that went out of development a few months ago on the sg2? How is the emulation on that?

I uploaded a new gta3.set with best improvement.
V 0.2
- Breaks and Debris
- Accelerate/brake and steer at the same time (tks mixedlemon)
V 0.1
- Car lights, Lamps and Flashing Lights
- Detailed Shadows, Traffic Lights, Blood
- Hi Resolution
just download attached zip file (gta3HiResV02.zip), and copy extracted file (gta3.set) to: /sdcard/Android/data/com.rockstar.gta3/files/GTA3
- backup existing one
Basically it is .set file specific for Galaxy Nexus
Thanks man, not only does this look better but on my Nexus it also fixed the touchscreen issue of not being able to accelerate/brake and steer at the same time.
Do you think it's possible to get a fix so that we can jump out of moving cars? There's a bug that doesn't allow you to get out of a car until it has come to a complete stop? How else are we supposed to ghost ride cars into crowds of people lol?

How are you guys getting this game to show in market? It won't show if I search manually in market and if search in browser it just shows as incompatible.
I'm happy to buy legit way just can't, any help please?
To be clear im not asking for warez just want a way to buy off market in legit fashion

just saved and had to retry a mission, works here
Any reason why my language is not English. Added the file and all the text is non English. Maybe Italian.

I'm starting to think that it may have only been the international versions that had compatibility restrictions, even when it wasn't playable on the Nexus and specifically stated "Coming soon for the Galaxy Nexus" I was always able to find it in my market and buy it from my CDMA Galaxy Nexus on Verizon.
This is just my best guess based on not reading anything, so if anyone else knows more about the subject please correct me.
Have you tried using Market Enabler?
Back during the $0.10 sales I had to edit the build.prop files on my HTC Rezound to make it think it was a Nexus S in order to buy the Gameloft games. Perhaps you'd be able to change it to identify your device as a Rezound or some other phone on the supported devices list?
I'm not seeing a gta.set file... should I just place this one in there? or am I missing somethin?
edit: Nevermind, there was no .set file in there to backup, but dropping this in there actually made a huuuuge difference. Thanks alot.

I had this problem too at first. There's a number of different versions out, being in Australia I'm pretty sure we would've had a censored version. Try going to https://market.android.com/developer?pub=Rockstar+Games,+Inc. and see what shows up. I used to be able to see 3 different versions but only one was installable, though they must have updated it recently because now the other versions are hidden from me.

I've only been on AOKP and curious if I should try out one or both of the others (I probably will anyway, lol). I've had a little issue w/ my keyboard lagging slightly when typing lately... thinking a switchup would fix it. Thanks for input...

Don't know if anyone ever tried this out mentioned it before But I'm sure it's been attempted,
Clear cache on keyboard, clearing data for it will most likely wipe your dictionary too so just try a cache wipe on it,
Wiping the app data used to fix the keyboard issues on the droid x2, not sure how it will work on this device. Good luck!

Anyone install chainfire 3d drivers succesfully on their rooted stock rom and does that fix this problem or are we just wating for the developers to patch and update the game on the market ?

Anyone, anyone at all !!!!! Someone clarify if you are getting the same issue with this game on this phone. Other than that this phone is amazing. Best out right now IMO and who cares about the note 2 that's like having a boat in your pocket.

I tried downloading this game and got the same thing. Loading screen the it just exits.
Same deal for me man. I even tried doing the aspect ratio fix built into the phone, still no good.

I already tested this but still not stable that nothing before had megabeatsaudiov3 and always found the simplest and best. but lately with the 4.3 update left you can use. Yesterday we checked out 4.3 for htc one and S3, there is some way to get the beats audio out?

Here you go man this should work just make sure you choose what exactly you're build is off of an aroma this works perfectly on all my devices if it hangs at 88 percent in recovery don't worry just reboot your phone like normal and it will be OK can make sure you pick awesome beats in music effects and settings
