Newbie flashed rom and now no Bootloader

Hello,
After i used unrevoked i tried to solve the WIFI problem by flashing LEEDROID 2.3. This handed me in an reboot loop and so i tried to flash a stock rom by teppic74.
Now my Desire wont start anymore and I dont even have acces to the Bootloader.
When I turn on the Phone i just see a picture of a box with an arrow coming out and pointing at the Android mascott in front of it.

i think it means that you have no rom in.
can you give some info about your phone. locked/unlocked, branded/unbrande. firmware it came with. radio. etc. thisngs that you did that ended you in the state that you now are.

Actually i dint write down these things..
The phone was an OLED version and had no SIM/Netlock or branding.
After flashing the Rooted Stock rom it ended up like this.

if you turn phone off by removing battery and then press back button+power on, does it show anything?
or press vol down+power on.

Nope. Just the same icon as before.

download this and run from pc to see if RUU identifies phone.
another question, if you connect to pc does it require drivers?

Okay something strange happend.. The phone starts to boot..
I dont know why but it seems that it just needed a Windows pc and some time while connected to the Pc. This is strange.

Can somebody please Help me clockworkmod has stoped working

Hello everyone this is my first post and thread so please bear with me.I have a big problem i need some help with.I rooted my desire about 8 months ago with unrevoked and everything went great i was using defrost then moved to gingervillainn .i tried to update to 1.6 through villain app as normal but for some reason clockworkmod has stopped working i just get a blank screen then when i press the power button it says clockworkmod recovery v2.5.0.1 in white text i then have to pull the battery to reboot the phone.I have tried to use it manualy by turning it on with the power and volume buttons held and selecting recovery but i get the same result.Same thing with rom manager.iv used rom manager to try and upgrade clockwork mod it says its succesfull but its still not working.my phone has became very buggy and i cant flash any roms or restore a nandroid backup.Any help would be very appreciated also when i press the supper user app it force closes is it possible that my phone has become unrooted somehow please help as the phone is almost unusable

hello everyone iv also tried rooting the phone again with unrevoked 3 its says the root is running but i still cant use clockwork mod.I was going to try and unroot the phone from the guide in this forum but htc sync doesnt recognise my phone because im not running a htc rom i guess.i really have ran out off ideas on what to do.Has anybody here had the same problem and managed to fix it?Any ideas would be great.iv got super user permissions back so i know the phones still rooted.can anybody out there help?!!!!!

Try an RUU flash, you will lose root etc but it might get it working again

i downloaded an ruu to flash through htc sync but it doesnt pick up my phone i was thinking its because im not using a htc sence rom i dont have the option to sync from the pull down blind of the phone if u know what i mean

Really need your help.
I had my Htc Desire(Optimus Portugal (unlocked by carrier code)) rooted Unrevoked, and then S-Off Precedure With Alpharev ...
And today i wanted to put the stock ROM, so i search here ...and i got the ...
"RUU_Bravo_HTC_Europe_1.15.405.3_Radio_32.30.00.28U_4.05.00.11_release_121865.exe" ... executed and at the end an error was shown ...
rebooted the phone, and till now nothing ...
when i press the power button it vibrates, and the screen doesn't show anything.
also tried to enter recover menu (volume down + power ) and nothing... and starting to freak out
any advises for this big problem ?
Update : I don't have access to hboot, nor i can see the triangle in the screen ( nothing on screen). When i press the power button, the computer detects the phone...

Why on Earth you tried to put Eclair on it?!

either slcd brick or just wrong ruu.. first use the WWE RUU listed on my guide, if that doesn't work use the 2.3.3 RUU. Problem = solved.

Volum key problem !!

hello guys.... i'm facing somehow starnge problem, here goes what happened, i downloaded some apps including 4EXT Recovery and i said that there was a newer version of the touch recovery to install so i did, and restated and tried to enter the recovery mod "power + vol down"
but it didn't work and i ignored for later on .... after few hours i tried to mute the phone and then it hit me that the vol down isn't working, i tried to press hard but no use... i tried to restore the recovery version that i normally used but no luck... and even tried to install another rom "i'm now using android revolution HD 6.3.3" but no luck.... the volum up key works perfectly and the volum down feels the same as always, nothing changed and it feels like working but it's not .... so have any one heared of my problem or faced it ?????!! hopefully i find the answer here...

My wife and I both have DHD's and are both having trouble with our volume up button!
Mine = fully rooted and flashaholic!
Wife = no root, no changes from stock!!!
They are both almost 2 yrs old now so think its just old age?

ok, volume rockers seem to be a common issue in these phones. To get to recovery you can use adb commands....plug the phone with usb debugging enabled and in the PC open a cmd as admin or a terminal as root, then type: adb reboot recovery....
make sure that u are running a touch recovery to avoid issues...

Thanks for your help glevitan but the thing is that getting in recovery is not really the main topic of the problem cuz i was getting to recovery through the app or throgh advance power menu.... the thing is i'm trying to find out some way to fix it through software rather than hardware solution, if it's possible since the phone didn't actully have an physical issu, and it just suddenly stopped working after updating the recovery ..... hope to find the fix. and thx again

[Q] Stuck to boot image+restart itself in recovery

Hi guys I'm new posting here but can't find the solutions anywhere...
My HTC Desire HD is stuck to boot image ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1673652 ) which I flashed two weeks ago without problems, is mounting the JellyTime R10 rom ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1778202 ) from like a month without any problem since yesterday when I'd travel to a vacation and let the DHD at home to found it back stucked as I'm come back.
The problem is there is no USB Debug, which I searched without finding it when the DHD was ok, the Volume Down is brocken and I'm able to enter the recovery only by attacking the DHD to an energy sources.
Unfortunately when I chose an option like "whipe" for example, it restart immediately and then get stuck.
I've tried to re-flash the recovery but it says "error device not found" so I guess is cause of the USB Debug...
Any ideas ? I like the phone and found nicely from about 2 1/2 years so I' wasn't planning to change it at all :/

I've probably solved the problem.
I've attacked the DHD to the charger in order to enter the recovery and than used the physical buttons (home, menu, back, search ) and not the volume and power button to enter the wipe options. it worked without restarting. I've cleaned the cache and it stopped looping.
Now I'm reinstalling the clockwork and a new 2.3.x rom. hopping it will be really stable unlike the other I've tried.
If someone can please link me a stable rom for my DHD it would be really a nice guy unlike other 74 who read and skipped the question until now !

PROBLEM NOT SOLVED.
I solved only the loop thing, the phone still don't hard resect and is invisible to the computer, may be because if I attack it at a power source it turns on in recovery and then crash, I've unlocked the developers section in the settings and turn on the USB Debug but the phone is still invisible.
I really need help about that, is there any way to solve that problem ? I need to factory resect it to solve the problems.

Can you reflash a recovery from fastboot? Have you tried running a RUU?

hi, sorry for the late answer I've lost the hope XD
I bought a note 2 but still REALLY interested in saving my DHD.
Unfortunately I can't access the phone from a pc because if I attach it to the mini usb it immediately turn on in recovery mode, and can't change anything by the recovery mod, it start but it just don't change anything :/

very stable, all working fine
Maybe the USB-Port on the phone is dirty or a metalpiece in it or try another cable
