Hi there. I'm currently using the SlimIcs rom and I have a fetish for tablet layout on android phones. But when changing density to lower than 195 I get phone.process fc. Is there something I can do? Cheers, JC

Hi guys,
I got a small problem with my desire z and cm7.
Ive installed the latest release base 186.
I want to change the background of the lockscreen.
I know where i have to go for it and i also can choose "custom background",
But when i select a custom background picture the lockscreen will still show the normal background image from my screen.
When i try a "color" this works.
Ive tried it in the same way on my girlfriend's desire - there it's working...
Could anyone help me here?
btw the dimensions of the image are 480 x 800 if the is important...
Thanks for ur help

I found out that I have to use the original Gallery to be able to set a lockscreen background. The alternatives I had to browse to a picture always gave me the same background as the homescreen after applying.
Ive used the stock gallery but it hasnt worked. But now ive updated to cm7 build 210 and it is working! but i got some problems while resizing the picture for the lookscreen - it shows me a square as border but not with all pictures...very strange. But only with some pictures not with all!
Thread can be closed.
Updating to a newer nightly build will fix the issue

I just downloaded the Swiftkey 3 Beta and it doesn't work properly with 240 dpi.
I want to know if anyone can patch the apk for 240dpi or if theres another way to get this working.
the galaxy nexus has 320 dpi not 240
I set it to 240 because it just looks better. That's why I want it to be patched (I'm sure I'm not the only one).
im in agreement with this. i tried going back to 320 but DAMN everything is huge.
It's working well for me at 241 dpi, if that's an option for you

what doesnt work at 240? Mine seems to look fine at 240
Don't forget you can change the key height in settings

I was having issues with dpi 240, do I went ahead and switched to 241 and it is working well. Tried to adjust the height in the options, but it still came up as a garbled mess.

Are you using lcd density or the one built on the rom

Works fine for me. I adjusted the keyboard height to large in it's settings menu. I'm running AOKP 30 at 240 dpi, changed the dpi using density modder app. Strange that it's not working for you.
Try using the tablet beta? That might work. The only difference should be the additional layout. I haven't installed it on my transformer yet but that should be it.
If I can get to a computer I can upload the apk for everyone.

The first time I launched it, it said something like "wrong version, try tablet version bla bla", but I set the key height to large and I am having absolutely no problems with it. I manually changed the LCD density in the build.prop to 240dpi, if that matters.
How do I downloaded the swiftkey 3 Beta? Thanks

As I remember HOX has a standard ICS Roboto font. Just google it out.
You can have an apk for example from there
Still I can see difference from stock look. Are you sure this is stock font , which is robotto ?

You can find roboto font here. If you think that HOX have another font, you can ask HTC to be sure.
Thanks bro.

Ok. go to this site: http://www.mrmad.net/mrmaddon-jellywiz-edition-fur-galaxy-nexus-2208
Download the file "Touchwiz jelly bean addon 1.3.3" highlighted in blue if you scroll down a bit. It is for the Galaxy nexus but tried and tested by myself and some htc one x users that it is fully functional.
it is a flashable zip which tends to overlay Sense but not totally, so it would be a combo between the two UI so it looks really cool

if i help you please hit the thanks button:good:

so you mean to say the weather/clock widget of touchwiz only? if so, just download accuweather.
but if you mean to say the weather/clock widget of Sense, just download fancy widgets from play store.:good:
I'd like to know that way I can reroot after my epic fail trying to simply set a font.
BTW ICS can now get Emoji via Google Keyboard!

I don't think our phone could ever handle sense 5. It looks lighter but I mean, just check the moving gallery and the constantly updated home screen, it's too heavy
