Jellybean ROM on Galaxy S2??

I just got this email saying a jellybean rom was just made today for the S2. I know I have a Epic 4G Touch Sprint's Galaxy S2, but what does this mean for us? Will it work on my Epic 4G Touch running rooted ICS? Won't let me post the link cause I'm "new" =/
No I'm sure it was talking about the international version

Idk this is what the article says from "galaxys2rootdotcom"
"WHAT? Jelly Bean ROM for rooted Galaxy S2 GT-i9100 users?
Yes, a “fully-working” “X-TremE” CM10 Jelly Bean ROM is now available for your Galaxy S2 GT-i9100, with camera/camcorder/Netflix/Hulu working!
This is the “best” Jelly Bean ROM I’ve seen on Android smartphones other than the Nexus devices so far. You do get a fully-working Jelly Bean ROM so this can be a daily driver.
What are you waiting for!!! "

OP, to answer your question, no it will not work. Sorry. There are differences that need to be modded, ported, etc.
---Jay--- From the GNex

AOSP Rom with no mods.

whats the smoothest AOSP JB rom here for the GNex? I'm still in the process of rooting so I havent tried any. I just got the phone last night and my other was the NS4G. I see there are a few here but Im looking for people who have tried several.

Sprint Gnex, please? I like a pure smooth rom.
You're not going to get anything 100% stock considering you need to go to a custom ROM. Poke around the Sprint development section and see what people offer. Those ROMs are your only Jellybean option right now.

Just got the sprint sgs3!

Hi I just got the galaxy 3.. Got an irresistible deal on craigslist. Came from a sgs2 t989 on tmobile wow what a difference! I really liked the aokp jellybean rom being developed on my old sgs2.. U had assumed there was development of aokp jellybean for sgs3 how come I don't see it listed in android device section? Is there kind if an equivalent besides cm?

Root an rooted non rooted Galaxy S2

I rooted my Virgin Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 2 with:
Agat_GB27_v1.3.0
It didnt actually root my phone.
Is this because the new Jelly bean is 4.1.2 GB28 and what i downloaded is presumably GB27? If so, whats the cure? Does anyone know of a newer root solution? Maybe Framaroot?
I just dont want to try it without a bit of guidance since im not exactly at stock settings and when i tried to install stock kernel, it didnt work, so its hard to start from ground zero from my noobie stand-point.
Ask the mods to move this to your device's forum.

Lol, everyone that still posts threads in this forum for the SGS2 should receive a 1 day temp ban for not reading the #1 sticky. So many wrong device threads over the last few months.

There's no reason to go lower than LK3. Mind if I ask why you want that old ICS crap ROM? Which was completely terrible on the S3.
I don't want the rom just wanted to know why it was completely abandoned
