Just received OTA update notification

stock unrooted... just got an up update notification, assuming this is the ICS update?!
I'm surprised that no one else has posted anything.
Eventually I would like to root... should I hold off on the update?

The phone is brand new, never been rooted.
I would love to accept the update but if its going to stop me from rooting, I might hold off...

yes I have it but the super user method is not installing the root on the system. So I guess we are going to have to wait for someone to get the root working again.

what exactly happens when you touch the back of both devices.
And are you sure that NFC and Android Beam are both turned on on both devices?
