Nice to see and good spot. Just hope it has some long gameplay, good graphics and is not laggy.
Max Payne 1, not Max Payne 3
It's the first Max Payne, not Max Payne 3! Try to read carefully...

Good find, but why do people keep calling this max payne 3? its MP1 coming to android the ps2 version same like they did with GTA3
It's MP1 but I'm expecting for updates.
Max Payne 3 sucks big time, the 1 and 2 are way better, good to see it will be the 1st Max
Supposedly it's the complete first Max Payne game (which was just plain awesome) with optimized graphics
Please delete
This is the same version on iOS nothing different.

Which one should I get? Mainly for playing games
If network speed is not a problem because max will not get LTE
Then max is a better device based on battery and screen size.
You should also look at processor scores.

For playing games better go with Mi Max, You will enjoy the additional screen space and 1 or 2 GB more RAM if you go with 3-4GB RAM version, Very Big Battery in Mi Max, it is a good device, you can check the reviews, custom ROM support may be slow on Mi Max but you get every week MIUI updates.

Why do you say Max will not get LTE, I'm using LTE on Max in India.
I don't even think they can be compared... For the same price you get a lot lot more of everything... LTE is not that faster anyway but it's nice to have thought... That's the only drawback for Mi Max used out of Asia...

Ouch I should qualify my answer
In USA this device doesn't get LTE. In other parts of the world it likely does. Thanks

I have mine running on LTE in Europe and it's fine. It does depend on which band your network use for 4G though.
LTE
Mi Max will not get LTE in the US but it does get HSPA+ which mines run on. I can honestly say HSPA+ is just as fast as LTE in my area. I am coming from the Mate 8 which is fast, have a great battery like the Max, and have a huge 6' screen. Like someone said LTE is supported in others countries but LTE can be overrated sometimes in the US. I am using my Mi Max mostly for gaming, specifically Marvel Contest Of Champions. The Mi Max is my replacement for the 6.4' in Z Ultra that came out a few years back.
Mi Max for sure. It is a great thing beeing able to play for hours without worrying about the battery running out. Also the bigger screen makes the experience that much better. For gaming it's a no brainer.
Does cm13 stable for daily use for this device?
Is CM 13 officially supported on the max?

Hi how can we get development of this going for Oxygen (MI Max 2)
I currently use my Mi Max Prime as my daily driver only because there is nothing for Mi Max 2 (the Lineage OS has bugs like Bluetooth crashing consistently)
Btw, you SHOULD upgrade to Mi Max 2...much superior. I have both
Until, if ever they release a Prime with a SD660 I will never pay to downgrade my 652 to a 625 period.

I LOL so hard when I read this. I have the same view but if you write it on some forums you will receive heavy bashing!
Some people claim the Max 2 to be a MAJOR upgrade due to stereo speakers, other camera and a claimed build quality improvement. CPU? Not important since MIUI is so smooooooth!
Just LOL.
Hi, i'm interested in a potential development for Mi Max 2, being an owner.....
So i'd like to know if it'll soon or later be supported.
Thank you so much.
Downgrade to a 652 to a 625 ?
The max 2 have more ram 4 vs 3, and for me I don't see the difference in use for my prime 652 /3 /64 and my new oxygen 625 / 4 / 64. The only difference I note is the battery life who is hugely different, with my helium it's ok for 1,5 day with the oxygen it's 2.5 / 3 days I never see that before! And I use it a lot bluetooth, 4G and wifi always enabled... youtube, gps in the car, surfing and etc... !
So yes I wait for the resurrection remix too for this device !!!
Sadly still no signs of life here, maybe we'll get lucky when source code will be released ? Hope so...
Maybe instead of asking for it in a Mi Max section, which has nothing in common with Mi Max 2 except a name and size - ask for it on a subforum of such phones as Redmi 4 Prime (SD 625 too), or Redmi Note 4 Pro (SD 625 too) for some port?
Im waiting also [emoji19]

Rro run extremly smoothly on snap 800 ( Samsung galaxy note 3) in conclusion, Mm2 Can run it without problem
I have an opportunity to buy either Note 8 or Max 3
any comments PLEASE .....
thank you
I'd recommended the Max 3 over the note 8. Max 3 is a much better bang for buck. And I've enjoyed every single moment owning this phone. No hickups or whatsoever.

Well i had the Note 8 before i bought the Max 3, the Max 3 is bigger and has a better Battery, else i didn't notice any difference. Probably the camera but i don't take often serious pictures. If you are Okay with the enormous display then save a few bucks and go for the Max 3.
Depends all what you need the phone for or what's important for you.
Note 8 user to Mi Max 3 user as well. Def go for the Mi Max 3. The bigger screen, better battery life, and overall development and updates for the Mi Max 3 are worth it. It surprisingly keeps up with the Note 8 in every regard.
Great thanks for all your input guys
My Max 3 just left Hong Kong for South Africa
I think compare to the realme 2 pro and Honor 8X the Max Pro M2 performs well when it comes to gaming. One of my friends has an honor 8x but while gaming it lags at times while gaming but while playing on my Max pro M2 I don't feel any lag......Share your thoughts on the gaming performance of Max Pro M2.
If you are rooted then you can use GPU Turbo Magisk module... To improve GPU performance.... This tweak seems to be similar to GPU Turbo present in Honor phones...
In 15k it's beast in this category except honor play so... chill
I'm a heavy gamer usually pubg,A9 no issue s at all:good:

Its just a suggestion for rooted users. Since this thread is about gaming ...
The Mi Max 3 is such an amazing phone and is still my daily driver since 2018. I have poor wision and the Mi Max 3 is the best device I have ever used in that regard since the 2013 Nexus 7 tablet. Just the right size. Doesn't need to be a flagship or flagship killer. I really wish they produced a Mi Max 4. But it was cancelled. While here, anybody know of any Magisk modules that increase font and icons in the display area for Android in general?
