Download cm7 second from latest.
It's a problem only in the very latest build, trust me, do that and it will all be good mate.
try qqplayer
i noticed that on all cm7(don't know about cm9) on video record is very bad sound quality...maybe on wfs is otherwise
Even the camera, it crash when recording video...
Wahhh...
MX player solve the video playing problem but im kinda disappointed.. you need to install additional apps because the apps included on the ROM is not working

Like I said in the above post, its only a problem with the very latest build, download a previous build and it'll work fine.
Or download eoghan's cm 7.2 rc3

Never seen that problem, maybe worth flashing again, making sure to delete data, cache and dalvik cache from cwm before flashing.
Sometimes you get the odd issue that reflashing will fix.
Yeah done it 3 times same problem...
Switched back to the latest ROM 7.1.0.1 im surprised the video problem was now solved, it even have the same screen resolution with the older one 7.1.0...
Weird but im now fully satisfied..
Will be waiting for the Cm9 update.. thanx guys for your ideas..

Since I've installed Froyo based Modaco ROM on my Desire, YouTube doesn't work any more. I just get sound and no picture, and no way to stop the sound playing. Any ideas of how to fix it would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
Seems like a good question for the modaco forums, doesn't it?

Yes, but I'm using Tapatalk and it doesn't work on their forums. Wondered if anyone here might know why its broken.
Using R6? I have no issues with YouTube.

R21 according to the About menu. (?)
In case you're interested, I fixed it by clearing the YouTube app cache and data.
Well thats ok then
Hey guys.
I recently installed virtuous v2.0 on my desire z and everything seems to be working great except Facebook, which just force closes when ever I try and open it. Does anyone know why this is?

I'd do this as a first go at it.
Also, you can do a fix permissions in ROM manager. Always a good idea after installing a new ROM.
Last version of google maps keep loosing gps lock, after 2-3 minutes gps connection dropping.. When trying another navigation system, everything is fine.. Anyone has a same? Thanks

Yep same here, thought I was going mad.tried another app and no fix issues, so must be google. Was considering a reinstall off the app but haven't got round too it yet.
What Rom are you using? Google navigation doesn't work on AOSP roms. It's something to do with how information is sent from the GPS to the software. HTC fixed this somehow with sense. But as yet Cyanogen and derivatives haven't. It's what's keeping me using sense based roms for now. :s

The only info ive been able to find has come from this page HERE
Its not just MIUI thats affected, its all AOSP roms. As i said earlier HTC have fixed it with sense, but they arent sharing
Try a sense rom and you'll see what i mean
I cant for the life of me work out which files i need to pull from sense for the fix.
There's a fix mentioned over in the Inspire forums HERE but i couldnt get it to work. It has something to do with "gps.spade.so" at least thats the file thats been mentioned mostly.
Too bad, love my miui rom.. Thanks a lot for respond

I'm on black ice, never seen this before and used to use CM 7.1 and MIUI on my old desire without flaw. perhaps installing an older version of google maps maybe a work around?
I'll try to find older version of google maps.. Thanks..

Found the answer on the CM forums (sorry can't find the link) the problem seems to be related to the AGPS data on the phone. Download GPS test from the market and in settings clear AGPS. Start google nav and everything should be ok...
This worked for me, hopefully the same will apply for you

Neither modpunk's CM9 nor CM9 is quite stable...... so there will be problems.....
You need to go to settings /developer options / background process limit
And set it to 4 you need to do this every time u reboot

SORRY for my bad English.
anyone tried S Voice with the Desire yet?
it installs on ICS so I think it might work
original: http://minus.com/llX3TROSRO4NH
fixed to work on unauthorized devices: http://minus.com/lCWshD37drA9R
Tested it now. Might be best skipping the intro and it fc when trying to change the wake command. Also double tap home didn't work for me either.
Clear data if you have fc on start up. But it does work. Can google search and text etc.

works, but very slowly on AOKP build 35. I will try it later on Sandvolds beta 8.1
It's slow at responding for all machines I think

i've used the new one for checking the weather for location, sending text and calling - all seems to work well.
I install S-Voice from the apk from frandroid.com
And it works, open apk, understand french language...
I hope this apk will mature quickly
on HTC desire the installaton crash but, after a reboot, it works
nice one!
I do not have a crash during installation.
I'm on ics 4.0.4 bravo cyanogen mod 9 RC 3.4.U1.
And it works.
Does someone test http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1673354 on HTC Desire ?
Tried the first APK, but it wasn't for me.
Also it's weird to say 'Hi Galaxy' to desire.
I suggest to wait for a year or so, so that developers can stabilize the system
work
The fix S voice apk and Spanish language works well for me.
I have 2 days with him and I am testing it

It works if u install it as a system app. Although its a waste of battery IMHO.
