Hello!
I own a Galaxy S II for almost a year now, and never used a screen protector before, most of the time i put the momax case on and it's enough to keep my screen clear and shiny. suddenly, the screen got some really small yet annoying scratches and i really got pissed! he doesn't fall or something, they just appeard in a mysterious way
so now to my question, i found on ebay this screen protector:
h tt p:// w w w.ebay.com/itm/3M-Screen-Protector-for-Samsung-Galaxy-S-II-2-i9100-Invisible-GLOBAL-EDITION-/160698535716?
pt=Other_MP3_Player_Accessories&hash=item256a610f24#ht_2007wt_1163
(erase the spaces)
this worth the money? or should i buy the standard X5 pack for like 2 dollars? maybe some other recomendations?
Thanks alot!

I need to find the right case and screen protector for my Archos 70 Internet Tablet 250GB.
What are you using for your Archos 70 IT 250GB?
I have the 101, but with the 70, can't you use just about any Kindle or Nook case?

I've read comments by some people who have tried cases for other devices. Some of the cases fit too tight. Some people have had to cut out part of the case to have access to the plugs or button. Other cases are too loose.
I would like to find a case that fits snug, but too tight. I do have a pouch that I can use for carrying my Archos, but I don't have a screen protector.
Right now the most important thing is get a screen protector. I ruined the screen on my iBook G4 in only a couple weeks before I got a screen protector.

GET25 coupon (I think) takes 25% off, so like $11.22
I'm wondering if that screen protector will work for both the Archos 70 IT 8GB and 250GB ... ???
I sent an e-mail to the company asking them that question.
A screen protector will be a very good investment, and a good case! I plan on taking my Archos with me quite often ...
Vikuiti DCQ160 is the new standard for me
Up until my days using a capacitive touchscreen I would swear by Invisible-Shield (zagg). They're mfing indestructible. They have too much grip to get a good feel on a touchscreen that you want to do a lot of swiping on though. New favorite for capacitive touchscreens is Vikuiti by 3M. I bought 2 for the 101. Nearly impossible to install well without a clean room, a robot, a compass and a firetruck full of circus clowns, but all protectors will be difficult on a screen this large. All I can say is be patient, be careful and good luck.
I'd give you a courtesy URL but the forums say I'm too much of a virgin to posting. The base URL is protectionfilms24 [dot] com. Figure it out from there.
Vikuiti being the best is my opinion. The Vikuiti is not as m-f-ing indestructible as the Zagg, but I've been using them on my HD2 and they're 90% as indestructible. Instead of using 1 it the devices lifetime it might use 3 or 4. Better though is most people grab my phone and play with it but can't tell there is a screen protector on. I haven't let anyone play with my tablet yet since I don't feel it's better than an iPad yet

I have this one and it's really good. It costs about 20-25$ but it's really worth it.
Hello, everyone
I bought my vibrant days ago, after that, I'm looking for screen protectors. And I've tried two kinds from ebay and amazon. But I found that bost of them are not fit with vibrant(although they said it does), they are smaller than the screen(shorter). So just a waste of my money.
Now, I'm asking for suggestions. Which screen protectors as you know is the best? fit the screen very well and can protect the screen well?
Thanks
BTW: the brand I bought from amazon is amzer! this one is not a good one, the size has problem
there's actually already a thread on best sp in this section, just search for it. But I recommend steinheil or realook b/c they have some of the best clarity and fit on the vibrant closely. The only downside is that they cost $10-13 for a pack but you get the best bang for your buck with them.

thanks, the amzer also cost me $10 but worth nothing!
I'm almost 6 months into my Realook, and it's still awesome. You get two for about $10 at Amazon, and their customer service is top notch.
Two bits of advice, don't bend it too much when you apply it, or you'll get a nasty rainbow effect under fluorescent light. Do it right and you can't even tell it's there.
Also they come with the two sides marked for how you should apply it (Side 1 faces out, side 2 sticks to the glass). I've ended up being the guy that has to apply these to everyone's phone, and I've learned that it's much easier if you peel off side 2 and stick it to the phone first, then remove side 1.
The nice thing about Realook, as I mentioned before, is their CS. After I screwed up the first round (bent it a little too much) they sent me two more for free.

if you want quality/lifetime
invisishield is the only to go... there like 20 bucks at bestbuy... they got a cool gel feel too em too...
ive bought 3 packs of the "tmo's vibrant" screen protectors and went through em so quick... there 15 for two... and they last maybe a few months... im currently not using any protector.... i got a spare vibrant from my brother so if i **** this one up... i got a new one waiting for me
Go with realook, I have ordered at least 10 for different devices. Three for my Vibrant. The only drawback is the leaves oily prints from your fingers, no biggie a quick wipe fixes that. But when clean it you can't even tell its there.
just ordered another set of realook.
this one lasted me 4-5 months. got my money's worth.
11 bucks + free shipping off amazon.
keys and phone must not be in the same pocket I dunno why that's so hard for me to do..
Thanks,all
I've ordered 2p realook
Hey guys. My Nexus is on its way to me, will be here soon. I've been browsing the Galaxy Nexus forums, trying to get a hold of the scene before I actually get my device.
Besides ROMs and what not, the most important thing for me is to protect the device. Also, I wasn't sure if this should go here or in the Q&A forum - if I got it wrong, I apologize.
Anyway,
Has anyone used this? I'm not talking about the Carbon Fiber skin, I'm talking about their Clear Skin Protector.
I was thinking of getting this and pairing it with the Rearth Ringke SLIM case.
Anyone out there used the Skinomi or has had previous experience with them? Any thoughts on combining their Skin protector with the Ringke?
Not sure about that screen protector, but ~17 users have it on this forum so they should be able to help.
Get it from amazon if you do decide to buy it, it's much cheaper there.
Regarding the case, this thread may be of use to you (if you have not read it already for more info)
I applied a tech skin on Friday and have been really happy. It took about 12 or so hours for all the bubbles to go away but it looks really good now, the cutouts are the perfect size and it covers the entire face of the device. but I bought mine from amazon for like 3 bucks for mine, looks like they've gone back up to 7
either way I'm very happy, especially now that they went back up cause I got 2 at 3 bucks.
First of all, thanks!

Yup, I read the thread regarding the protectors and the thread regarding the case. I'm pretty sure about the case, however when it comes to the Skinomi I'm not talking about just their screen protector - their skin protector is something you put all over the phone, with cut outs to the battery etc. Basically, like their carbon fiber skin, but transparent. I also really want to buy it from Amazon, but for some reason its not up there.

Really good to know. However, while their screen protector should theoretically provide a proper idea, I'm looking specifically at their phone skin - that is, there are cut outs for the front and back. I also really want to buy it from Amazon but for some reason it's not there. Thanks!
I loooove this screen protector. Bought one on amazon to replace the crap that otter box shipped with the commuter. Definately worth every penny. Covers entire front and fits snugly in my case .

Some Pictures :]
The Skinomi front screen protector, assuming that it's the same one that comes with the Carbon one, is really nice so far. The only thing id recommend, is that you wrap the microfiber cloth around that squeegee before you scrape the bubbles out. That crappy piece of plastic they send, has sharp edges, and will scratch the heck out of your screen protector. Really, like a few hours after I put it on, it's hard to tell it's even on there.
I second the microfiber comment above.

I thought I'd share what I found for my most recent phone, a Samsung Galaxy Discover S730M. It's relatively new in Canada and it's budget status means there are no accessories to be found - and likely never will be!
I found a nice tpu case on eBay, by looking for "galaxy ace duos" cases. The fit and finish are really nice, and I plan to order a couple more colors soon.
It was under $10 with free shipping, and the screen protector that comes with it works...though there is a cutout for a face button the ace duos has but this phone does not.
I've tried a couple screen savers from eBay described specifically for the galaxy discover, one vituiki and another 6-pack of thin protectors both from the same supplier in Germany. Both protectors were difficult to install and a very poor fit, with at least 1mm hanging over each edge of the screen.
I finally ordered a 6-pack of screenies from china that look like they will do the job, I'll post results.
Can you post some links to the tpu case and china screen protectors please?
And this works too:
Because the phone seems to be samsung's mock of the iPhone 3G/3GS, if you cut down any screen protectors for it (using a straight cutter, or scissors if your hard core). Ive done it. The speaker hole is a bit low, but it works if you have some old ones you dont need anymore.
Please click thanks if you found this useful.

I just searched "meifeng ace duos" on ebay, this is one of the first items: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Soft-Silicone-TPU-Cover-Case-LCD-Guard-For-Samsung-Galaxy-Ace-Duos-S6802-MF-/290751893915?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item43b229d19b
I was tempted to try one of the textured cases but it looks like the top and bottom edges are unprotected. What's the point?

I actually think he Xtreme guard protectors are great for the price. After the first time I got one I've been recommending them to everyone. They are clear and scratch resistant and the self healing stuff works. Also they aren't as rubbery as some of the other more expensive ones I've seen. The WET install ones are good, I tried the HD dry one last time and it was a paint o put on and the fit was off. Thats what the bad reviews are for. So I say stay away from the dry install ones, they're just like any cheap regular screen protector, but the wet ones have always been good to me.
