How can I get the phone to unlock in landscape orientation?
Purely an aesthetic request.
Anyone know?
I don't want to switch from CM9.
Thanks
You want the launcher to be in landscape? Our the unlock screen itself?

Idk about CM9 since I don't use it, but in AOKP, its in ROM control. There should be something similar in CM9.

Basically, with any app that doesn't have an interface for menus and uses the default menu, the text for the options is white against a white background, making it impossible to read. Here's a screen cap:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Anyone have an idea on how to correct it? Thanks!

Looks like a MIUI issue. I've never seen that on the stock ICS build.
It's a limitation of the ROM or theme you're using. Time to change one or the other as applicable if the white on white renders it unusable.

If you turn one of the main icons (like home, back, and recents) instead of the three dots into the menu button...you can unlock by pressing it.
But the navigation bar isn't visible on the lockscreen :-\

See...
I'm sitting here trying to remember exactly what it was.
And I believe it may simply be for devices with a "hard" menu button?
Sorry...don't remember when it was implemented and when this was answered.
Oh doesn't matter.. thanks for your help anyway

I wonder... Does anyone know of a replacement lock screen, extremely simple and preferably gesture based (Pie MagicLocker theme-ish) that has no lag? I've yet to come across a replacement without lag and with everything running so fast on this phone, its annoying. My entire home screen is clean and gesture based using a combination of Nova launcher's built in gestures and an application called SwipePad. I was looking for a lock screen that could compliment that...

Hello I use the Samsung Galaxy S4 Launcher on my Nexus 4 but I want to have more place for Apps please Look at the attached photo!
How can I change that?
I use CyanogenMod 10.1 with the S4 Launcher.
Can make somebody a flashable zip that change that?

Sorry for my bad Paint skills!
I'm using the same launcher. I like how it looks and how smooth it feels.
But what I would like to know is where the launcher preferences are saved so I can load them whenever I flash or update my ROM?
