Probably it goes to push mode. Make sure you really exit it so it doesn't open when people pm you.
Anyway, why didn't you just post at faq if you knew you aren't supposed to make new threads for questions.

ofcourse that the point of freezing....i think what you need is juicedefender pro....then disable all other receiver for app except for tge one when you do open the app...fotgot if its really juicedefender or somw batt saving app....idea is your fircing the app not to be on background

You always create a thread bro..i think you should not use your phone anymore so that you will not have a problem anymore!! lol!
Go to task manager and manualy force stop your applications.

You know what. Juice defender kill my wifi connection . That's why i join here in xda to solve my problems. Even i uninstalled juice defender, the wifi doesnt work anymore.. Tsk

Use a2sd to save internal memory,
Be sure to exit unused app like sms,music,etc,
Check your ram usage at the task manager,
I also have a fb messenger and a simsimi that automatically when the wifi is open,but my phone did not hang.

No offense bro but sometimes we need to be smarter than the phone....we shouldnt be like apple users who pretty much looks for an app for everything like brushibg teeth cutting nails etc...hope you gey my point....
For me i dont use fb app i use dolphin instead...betyer that way

Hi guys . I just wanna ask if all of you experiencing this. (Not only me).
This past days. Android market changed to google play. If i open google play some of the apps says, "This applicatiln is incompatible with you're device" . Not like android market, it only shows the applications compatible with you're device. Do you experiencing it guys?

Ok, so I was trying to root my phone, and after attempting and failing to get cwm to be installed, I decided to give up and leave my phone as is. But afterwords my phone's connection would constantly time out, and just wouldnt work. So i used the standard recovery and wiped all data. Afterwords, connection came back, but now even with my gmail synced and set up, it's saying that I have to pay for apps i have already purchased! What do I have to do to restore everything?
Try logging in again with or Google ID in play store
If u r already logged in

The old update used to work on my wifi in university, which has a proxy server. This new update now shows as if I'm not connected to internet when on that wifi! Anyone has the same problem and or knows how to fix it?

the new version is a proper app and not a webapp, so it cannot recognise that there is no connection.
i am also in uni, what i do is open a browser first and go to any site, then the proxy should intercept it and ask you to login.
once login-ed, then open facebook again.
Yep, finally, no more HTML5. From now on, I expect it more smooth and as good as the iOS version.
This Facebook 2.0 is not smooth on my S3 running WANAM LITE Rom. The scrolling is not smooth. I don't know about you guys but my connection is only on WiFi and I am able to use the app.

Its smoother than before.. image loading is fast as hell ^-^ But I'm not good with it.. because I keep getting "Network Error" all the time, and nothing more loads.. i have to restart the app .. I've cleared it's data, cleared dalvik-cache.. but still getting that error :/

As the topic suggests, my gtalk stops working as soon as I restore my gtalk backup from Titanium. I do this ofcourse after a clean wipe of my internal data. As long as i haven't restored my gtalk data.... It works fine. Now I have finally recovered from the battery drain issues I was having earlier so don't wanna perform a full wipe just for gtalk.
I do understand that reinstalling the app from the market will probably solve my problem. However I am unable to find the app on the play store or even in my apps list on google play store. Any suggestions?
Edit : Now seriously men, 20+ views and no replies? What are we, iphone users??!!

I have googled like 10 times and missed that topic somehow!!! I really am a doofus. However this does not solve my problem at all, all my contacts and I are being displayed as offline

Of course man that was the very first thing I tried. No result at all, my accounts still stay there. Gtalk display all my contacts and me as offline even though my status is available.

Feel free to download it and play it.

When trying to install the apk, it fails and gives the error message "there was a problem parsing the package"
Also tried pushing it to system\app and changing permissions, but still no joy.
EDIT
Never mind, seems for some reason my browser wasn't downloading it properly and the downloaded file was only about 23kb!
Re-downloaded using Firefox and its fine. Nice work man!

I was JUST about to say - re-download it, could be some sort of "corruption" in the file.
Nothing wrong when I downloaded it and put it on my mum's Note2!

Kudos for the review, laughed my arse off watching it
Couldn't download it from the phone itself though. All i got from that evil website was it trying to force me download that crap mobogenie apk at every chance it got. Had to do it from the computer and send it over bt, no problems there.
