Just curious if anyone has internet sharing working no problem with their Rogers Lumia 900 unlocked on Telus?

It won't work with Telus. There's no workaround.

I have a friend who was looking to send me their HTC One X from a Australian carrier and i was wondering would it work in the US on ATT 3G/4G

It will work as long as it's unlocked.
Optus branded units are network unlocked, so no issues. I've heard a few reports where the optus apps don't kick in if it's never activated on the optus network, so you might not even see the worst of the spam on there.

Yes it will work on AT&T. I just picked mine up today from Optus. Fully unlocked out of the box and running on Telstra (850mhz like AT&T) with no Optus bloatware.

Hi my brother was wanting to get a Samsung galaxy s3. He is going to get the unlimited wind plan. I am just wondering if I buy a bell s3 and unlock it would it work with wind mobile? There are more roms and kernels offered on a bell phone than a wind phone.
Thanks!

No it won't work. Wind phones use a different frequency for hspa than Bell phones so it will always roam.

Guys, I bought a T-Mobile GS3 in the states and I brought it over to Canada. It is fully unlocked and working on Mobilicity. I just got an update to Jelly bean and went ahead. All is working fine. Would anything happen because I have a Mobilicity SIM car in a T-Mobile SGS3?

Your fine. As long as your APN settings are correct for your carrier the ROM doesn't really have anything T-Mobile has scripted themselves.

Hello all -
I have recently relocated to the UK from the US, and I have a US Galaxy S3 (ATT) which is rooted (running CM 10.2) and SIM-unlocked. I have no issues using this with 3G networks here (TMobile) but would it also work on EE's 4G LTE network if I upgraded my plan, or would I require a different model to get LTE here?
TIA
J
Do some research. If the carrier that you want to use uses the same lte frequencies, then it will work. If not, you're out of luck.

I did a lot of poking around, only to end up on Wikipedia looking up 4G frequencies. The answer is no...!
I just bought a G3 unlocked which was originally from the Rogers network. I'm using the Bell network. I was wondering if I would still be getting OTA updates when they arrive? If so, is it coming from the Rogers network or Bell? The model numbers for both phones of Rogers and Bell are the same. They both use the D852.
