Hey Guys,
I am trying to get back to shipped ROM for my own reasons
At the moment i have ARHD that i flashed on the device.
I have been reading threads here and it was vary helpful but i still can't manage to do it.
Here what i tried already :
From - http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/HTC_One_X
Couldn't do "Total Recovery", here what i got -
Code:
fastboot getvar version-main -----> version-main: 1.29.751.12
I didn't find the correct version to install from http://www.filefactory.com/f/7cc7b2fbdd03c031/
Tried to install closest Asian RUU but with no success.
Can you please help with this issue ?
Here is my Bootloader screen :
What ive done to flash Ruu from custom rom was
Used nandroid backup with stock rom
Flash stock recovery 1.28 and 1.28 boot.img
Relock bootloader using fastboot commands.
Then update via OTA, but make a full backup of SD card content, mine got full format...thanks god was empty.
Stock recover and boot are in oficial cwm recovery...
Pd i ve done both ...update ota and flash Ruu too
My firmware is x.xx707.xx

You can only flash the RUU with no. 1.29.751.12 as the hboot already updated to 0.95.
To date, only 1.29.751.7 is available, not sure whether it will work for you but you can try: http://hoxroms.serveftp.com/RUU_END...Radio_1.1204.104.14_release_259285_signed.exe

Hi,
I want to upgrade my Hboot. My current Version is 0.96
I found this very good tutorial: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1avesz4l8fcnkku/Tutorial_hboot_upgrade.pdf
My Problem is Step 1. I don't have the Unlock_bin anymore and I have lost my login to htcdev.com too.
Is there another way to upgrade the hboot?
Can I just install a .zip file from there?: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1957376
Thank you.

Can't you do it through ota or ruu? Are you branded? What's your cid? That's an old h-boot so at a guess it's possible.
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
Even with the .zip method you'll need to relock/unlock the bootloader. It's NOT flashable in
recovery. Create a new account at htcdev.
Here's how to use the zip:
1. fastboot oem lock
2. fastboot oem rebootRUU
3. fastboot flash zip firmware.zip (do several times if it fails)
4. fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin.
@cjm1979
My One X is from T-Mobile (Germany). Currently I´m running Android 4.2.1 . When i will get mit CID it always says "cid:null".
@TToivanen Ok thank you.
Get your CID and MAIN version with these 2 fastboot commands
Fastboot getvar version-main
Fastboot oem readcid
Thank you
version-main: 1.29.111.11
(bootloader) DEBUG: cid: T-MOB101
Hmmm i can't see your needed ruu in the listing of ruu's. Also there is no nandroid backup available for you only a higher version. Don't know if that will work. Otherwise you have to flash the firmware if that is available !
You can check here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1957376
It is available for you......read the instructions in the OP, lock the bootloader, flash the firmware with the given commands and unlock the bootloader, then a custom recovery and flash the desires JB rom
Just a reminder, if you haven't deleted the email from htcdev which had the unlock.bin file in it.. You can search for that in your inbox... I found my unlock.bin that way....

Yeah ! Or just make a new account
@mathrania I have deleted the whole Mail Account
@Mr Hofs Thank you very much.
Now i want go back to stock . No root with actual HTC Android 4.1.1 Firmware. I think i can do this in the same way without unlock / root again? Right?
I have your ruu in my possession if you want it. The only thing you need to do is to relock the bootloader, run the ruu and after that update manually all the way to JB !!!
Either way....you always have to lock the bootloader in this case ! But unlocking is no problem mate
http://www.rodfile.com/zfyl7fn6pcsl
here is an actual download link. i also have it on my drive
Thank you. Now waiting 16 hours for downloading (10kb/s )
maybe this one is faster...havent tested it to be honest
http://freakshare.com/files/pxha4gc..._1.1204.105.14_release_260730_signed.exe.html
scratch that....SLOW ! i can upload it to dropbox.....see who's done faster
Yes much faster. Thank you
edit: Its okay Speed is okay for me
Oke I'm uploading to dropbox anyway now.....done in 1 hour

please help me my phone is dead for last one week..
I´ve recently rooted my phone and now I´ve got an update from HTC that cannot be installed after rebooting. This is exactly what I get:
ClockworkMod Recovery v5.8.4.0
Finding update Package...
E:unknown volume for path [INTERNALSDCARD: Download/OTA_ENDEAVOR_U_JB_45_S_HTC_Europe_3.18.401.1.3.14.401.31_R_release_308291aozis6kzu71s9js6.zip]

I´ve tried doing it manually by choosing the option to install from the SD card but it didn´t work anyway. When I select the OTA file it gives me "E:failed to verify whole-file signature" then "E:signature verification failed"

Can I use ANY recovery endeavoru_recovery_signed.img?
I have the international version (version 41.1, sense 4+, software number 3.14.401.31, SDK API Level 4.63, Htc version HTCExtension_Sense45_1, kernel version 3.1.10-g9fb8f80 [email protected]#1SMP PREEMPT, baseband version 5.1204.162.29, build number 3.14.401.31 CL128187)
Do fastboot getvar version-main.
The first two numbers tell you what version you need.

Does anyone know where can I get the recovery_signed.img and the boot_signed.img for this?
Also, on clockworkmod\download\download2.clockworkmod.com\recoveries I have a recovery-clockwork-5.8.4.0-endeavoru.img file but I cannot recall if this is the right image or not. Is there a way I can find out?

I think I also need the CID. Mine is HTC__203. where do I get it? I´m not sure if I have to download ruu endeavor exe (I don´t know which version) and select it from there. I´m pretty lost
I´ve downloaded RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_JB_45_S_HTC_Europe_3.14.401.27_Radio_5.1204.162.29_release_298897_signed but I´m not going to install it until I´m sure it´s ok.
This one ?

And if it is not the right one nothing will happen. The install aborts....
If the ruu matches your main version it is the right one mate !
And its certainly not necessary to make a new thread ! As we already where discussing it here

Do this :
Restore a 3.20.401 nand and flash back the 3.20 stock recovery. Then ota up again via official ota. AFTER you did the ota you can relock the bootloader.
The 3.20 nand does not have be your cid. Just pick one !

Man just download other nand with 4.18.401.2 base have working now I checked with sure have one working no need to to search only for your CID the base is important
Yes thant but he wants to relock the bootloader. Because he wants to sell it. Relocking on a different cids nand is not possible !
So he needs 1 lower nand and do at least 1 ota to pull the cid right !

This is something new for me why it is not possible to relock the bootloader you have the same base you don't backup CID or HBOOT you backup system and data. But if it is true I will know for future. Thanks Mr Hofs
When he restores a different cids nand and relocks the bootloader the phone boots only to the bootloader with a warning.
But after 1 official update with an unlocked bootloader the cid will be correct and the bootloader can be relocked.

I've figured out the problem! (Y)
1. Installed Twrp Recovery
2.Mounted SD Card
3.Placed Cyanogen 9 ICS ROM in SDcard
4.Installed Cyanogen from recovey
Now how I can update my Hboot version from 1.12 to 1.29 or above? As I'm not able to find Jellybean RUU for my CID (Bstar301 SPAIN).
