My gs3 is lonely on the backside... Does anybody know where I can get a new one? All I can find is the metal/aluminum ones, and I would rather have the original back... Mine is long gone.
Thanks in advance!
There's a white genuine Samsung one on eBay
I looked yesterday and I didn't see any. Only found the brushed aluminum ones. Thanks! Now to not lose it while working in the field... >_<
*EDIT*
Someone beat me on the bid, and I can't find anymore on ebay... anywhere else?
Found a site that sells the original battery covers. Mine will be here within a week, and I think I may have ordered the last one, but I will be able to confirm if the battery cover is the original or not.
The site is http://www.nutelsolutions.co.uk/spare-parts/battery-covers/genuine-samsung-galaxy-s3-i9300-ceramic-white-battery-cover-gh98-23340b.html

I'm in security forces with the air force, and we currently are on 17 hour work days. So I always bring an extra battery since we generally don't have any electricity around us... I pulled off the battery cover once the first battery died, and an f16 decided to do a random engine test as I was about 45-50 feet away. Scared the crap outta me and I wound up dropping the original cover down a sewer drain...

You could try getting a Flip Cover, which replaces the back cover and also adds a screen protector that flips back and forth.

Lotta places are outta stock and I can't really use ebay cause my paypal hates me >.< Being overseas with a stateside bank account, and no proof of my stateside address has put a permanent limit on the account. Which is really annoying... If you wanna send me one for free, I would have no problem with that lol XD

Hi,
I have purchased from Expansys 3800 mAh extended battery and was trying to find some carrying case for this combination, with no luck.
With normal battery I was carrying the 1st one that was available on Expansys, leather horizontal with magnets and after that I have bought in O2 shop in London their cover for Uni and was very much satisfied with it.
Could anybody help with this and please dont tell me to search the forum, cause I did and found nothing...
Thank you...
I have the same problem, I have an extended battery but can't find a case to fit! any suggestions please?

Here's how I carry my QTEK9000 with a normal battery
I bought a fitting camera pouch. Then I got an elastic band with velco grip
I then put my QTEK into the camera pouch and strap it to my upper arm.

Perhaps we'll need these for the successor of the Athena ;-)
As to the first question. I chose to have less power and still be able to use my silicone case for the uni.

did you, in fact want to say NOT?
Found the solution. Just tried to find my old XaX case from Expansys among old stuff and here it goes... it fits perfectly with extended battery...

Why haven't we seen any of these on Ebay or for sale on any phone website? I would like to pick up a few extras just to mess with and make custom back covers but it seems as if we only have the one extra our phone came with. Due to the fact the entire back is the battery cover it lets us change the whole phone without a case.
I highly highly doubt that there will be additional battery covers in the future.
When was the last time a phone came out with extra battery covers a LONG time ago.
I know a lot of people would like them but it's probably not going to happen. Everything now is based around cases.
The fact that tmobile included an extra cover with the phone is great but rare. I don't even know why they did it.
I think he means more like replacements or extras, to mod or paint.

Yes or different colored batteries covers , im really looking for a stock white colored one i am looking into painting my own but would rather have one factory made.
I was hoping they would have this as well. I mean, they can probably fabricate it pretty easily. I would buy a rubberized back for 10 bucks and forget the case.
These are not battery covers, but silicone that goes over the battery cover. I have one, and they are nice. Not too much thicker and with a better "grip."

I like the glossy slip. With the white Korean phone maybe well get some.

Looks like they have a pink battery back cover from Anycall......... could this be the begining?
Do you hate the extra bulk of a case or have an extended battery that a case won't fit? Afraid of dropping your phone?

Just drill two tiny holes in the top of your battery cover and fish this lanyard through, then wear it on your wrist when using the phone. No drop, no break, no case, who cares?
** P.S., You can also probably pick one of these up at the cell phone accessories shop at your local mall.

Hmm $1.25, cheap price. When factoring in having to give up your man card with it, it is a little too steep. Haha...jk , not for me but certainly a great idea.

yeah im pretty sure a drop would result in the battery door popping off and your phone hitting the ground...
this is great if your concerned about the battery door and not the actual phone tho !

First of all I looked over the phone quite extensively. No real place to attach it. Besides, it will just get caught on my keys when I pull it out my purse.

Guys. I made these doors.. I have a video on youtube with me shaking my phone with the lanyard.. The doors are on very tightly, better than oem

Hello,
I have a HTC touch pro 2 and I removed the sticky thing (looks something like below)

I did this to fix the "oil spill of death" which made my digitiser unresponsive anyways... thats a different question...
I removed it and now it is all dirty and covered with gunk - its no good coming back on my screen. So without it my phone works and here are my options:
A) Buy a new sticker off ebay for $22
B) Dont buy a sticker, but use my full mirror screen protector instead.
I just dont know the role of that sticky thing. Could someone please help me out?
Cheers!
Okay, you need that sticky thing, because it's your touchscreen!
Without it, your phone is very hard to use.
Just get one of ebay, stick it onto your phone connecting the cable, and it should work again.
Thats the first layer of your screen!
Can you send me the ebay link
Hi
Hi,
Well my touch screen works fine without it. Its not on ebay (by itself) but I can buy a digitiser that comes with the sticker.
I dont know what to do.
Thanks
Well, then you probably haven't pulled off the complete digitizer. It should have a connector to it. If it hasn't, you only pulled off the top layer. Either way, you should replace it, because if something happens to your phone now, it is unprotected.
Thanks steyn_e I think your probably right!
That is pretty special, i havent seen anyone before who hade just half of his digitizer pulled off.
Good luck with repairing it.
Steyn
yeah thanks.
i chose not to buy a new digitiser because the sticker is not sold seperately, I guess a screen protector PLUS a hard case will do the job. If I buy a new digitizer, I have to peel off the sticker...... or replace the digitiser. I dont want to get messy so ill take the easy n cheap option
I see few of them on Ebay and I am interested in the metal back cover rather than going the case route, but I wanted to know if the back cover on sprint is compatible with nothing on the back of it(nfsc etc etc) if someone can post a picture of both sides of the back cover that would be greatly appreciated

There are no contacts for NFC. You may be able to pry off the contact on the OEM back or get another one and do that. But NFC and metal don't play well together usually. May work, may not.

But you can get this, it has nfc. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B009NIRX14/ref=pe_152840_26435120_pe_vfe_dt1 Ive used these batteries before on my gs3 and they were really good.

On Note II NFC is NOT part of the battery but is a part of the back cover. That little black plate with two contacts on its side... there's NFC under it.
Whether our Note II has a way how to route NFC signal from the battery I consider highly unlikely.
